Besides Alec Baldwin’s revolver, SIG 320 can also fire without pulling the trigger. It can fire even when holstered. This feature is unique and that is why SIG 320 is definitely the best. 😜

That is NOT true, except, there could be some older P320s that were not upgraded to the disconnector. Those, if dropped from a height of 9 Feet could fire. It's been years since this was an issue. There were a couple of solutions to this VERY common problem that occurs in many handguns.
it was revealed during the XM9 trials, which the Sig WON. There are some minor changes to the Sig M17/M18 handguns that are not found in civilian models.
Someone went to a lot of trouble trying to make those early P320s fire from impact. There is a far greater problem with Glock handguns as they can fire when disassembled for cleaning. A number of people have been shot during this process.
ALL the original Colt handguns, whether the original Peacemaker or the M1911s can fire when dropped. The Peacemaker can fire from a blow to the hammer. The M1911 can fire when dropped. There is a version that will not, but shooters don't like it. Occasionally, the Peacemaker can fire from half cock. Also occasionally, the M1911 can go full automatic. I met a man with a bullet hole in his face from this happening.

@@stephenhendricks7346 It is well known that the most expensive American made gun, Staccato which is clone of the famous 1911, they like to call them 2011 (the only changes since original 1911 is in double stack magazine 😜 and some CNC machining that nobody knows what they are for) will fire when dropped just by inertia of the firing pin. I wish I am making this up. I don’t believe there is another gun that can do that but $4,000 Staccato. 😂 Americans are just not capable of innovation or production in gun industry. Last time that was in 1911 when genius John Browning created many great firearms. Today, only great guns are coming from Czech Republic from CZ (Shadow 2) and Laugo Arms (Alien). Everything else is laughable including S&W. (And this is coming from an American who was fan of S&W)

All guns can fire when being holstered when the holster pushed the trigger. Toggle closure coats can also do that.

@@miroslavm2553 All faithful copies of the original Browning design can fire when dropped, but also can suffer a fire mechanism break where they go full automatic. Several shooters died that way. John Moses Browning is rightfully referred to as a design genius. However, many handguns today use NONE (or very few) of his original design innovations. When Sig came out with the P220 (P6) in 1975 it effectively ended a long stream of Browning copies. Credit also is due to Austria's Glock, which pioneered high amounts of reinforced plastic and ultra simple designs.

I have about 2,500 rnds through my VP9 and I love this gun. It's a little big for daily carry, but the gun is just a blast to shoot. Excellent choice

To say that the 9 x 19mm Parabellum cartridge used in the USA up until the recent change to the Sig M17/M18 (P320) handguns would not be accurate. All Sig Sauer handguns are designed for European spec ammunition. SAAMI specs for "normal" use made 9 mm ammo are quick a bit less powerful than European spec ammunition. Europe (NATO) 9mm compared to SAAMI ratings are all Plus P rounds. Russian 9mm is Plus P Plus.
When the Sig won the XM17 trials, Winchester was also part of those trials. Winchester is making that "more powerful" 9mm ammunition for the M17/M18 handguns as it is considerably different from typical civilian 9 made for USA consumption. I've always used the more powerful loads.

The Browning Hi-power is a great gun, if you hold your pistol tea cup/saucer style like it's 1940.

Depends on which Browning you get. The Browning BDA (Browning Double Actions) was the Sig Sauer P220 in .45 ACP caliber. The Browning .380 ACP BDA was a Beretta. Browning also made their own double row, double action, 9mm for the XM9 trials but it wasn't made for very long. The British SAS had used the Browning Hi-Power (single action) but are now using something different.
Browning died before the Hi-Power design was finished. It lost it's bid to the French to a design called the Petter-Browning design. SAIC sold that to Sig Inc. in 1947. That as the basis for the first of the current generation of Sig Sauer handguns. The first of which was the P220 (P6 in Switzerland, and Browning BDA in the USA). The P320 is a polymer frame striker fired design that replaced the Beretta M92SBF as the US sidearm in two basic designs along with 10 frame sizes. I'm probably going to custom build my next P320 as you can buy each component separately.

Not at all. CZ75 is one of the "Old School" designs. It's all steel and that makes it heavy. I looked at CZ75s and did not like them. Glock sent the industry in a different direction. And Sig showed how to make firearms that can be profitable and extremely accurate.
