- Today I had Elizabeth up and running even thought the weather was rubbish. Rain held off until I had finished which was nice!
In this vid I tell you what each control does.

Love the way the track is overgrown with that abandoned narrow gauge feel to it. Excellent video thanks 🙏👍🚂
Thanks Stephen! I like the overgrown look!
Great educational video Ian.
Thanks David! I'm not great at that sort of thing but any questions are welcome!
Ian. Thanks for the review of all the workings. You make it all seem so simple. The colder air makes the steam even more dramatic.
Thanks Mike! Sorry I missed your comment when you posted it. I quite agree.
Great vlog ,Reminds me of my dad's railroad ,,,Haggis haven Failroad , ,,,on a one acre lot on Pender Island British Columbia Canada , Includi g the rain !!!
Sounds amazing! Any vids?
Wonderful! Put some of your rain into an envelope and send it here to the dry desert! Have a great day!
Thanks again!!
I enjoyed that thanks.
Off to the Midlands Exhibition in the morning will see the Blackgates crew who market the bits for your locomotive I know them well.
Thanks! I have everything soaking in alcohol atm. I wonder if it's just wear to the spindle and the clutch isn't gripping properly. If they sell the parts that would be amazing.
Wonderful video Ian, thank you. Loco going really well and dead satisfying to watch. Now I know why your hydrostatic lubricators have no pipe work!!
What’s the purpose of the coil below the right running board at the cab end? I’m guessing it’s a condenser of some sort or maybe even a still…
Thanks again! It was put there by the person who made it to warm up a cup of tea!
Good job on those train shots mate cant wait for the Halloween update 👍🏻
Thanks. Ah yes must do a Halloween special again.
Cool as always
Thanks very much!
A Tinkerbell would look stunning running on the ivy railway, it would just look the part as a narrow gauge slate quarry
I would love one but way out of my budget!
@Elvinley me too, I'm currently building a similar size loco to yours with a lister D engine providing power. My only problem is I don't have much space for the railway!
@@lukebooth3449 Hope it goes well!
I like trains as well trains are neet
They are indeed!
👍🚂🚞🚞🚞😈
Cheers Gil!
No Sandite trains needed then !
Haha no, but leaf removal begins in earnest soon!
