- The Illinois Live Steamers celebrated their 56th Anniversary Meet the weekend of August 18th, 19th, and 20th. The event brought together live steam and large-scale railroading enthusiasts from several states to the private live steam club located southwest of Chicago. Our camera was rolling during the event and we captured the action for your enjoyment here on The Steam Channel. Enjoy part II from the meet in beautiful 4K.

My brother and I are about 2 hours south of Chicago and would love to be able to visit a place like this. There used to be a good train garden maybe 20 years ago around Arthur Illinois, but it is now a small zoo.

Just when you think “narrow gauge” couldn’t get any more narrow.
I love how their hockey puck switches are chain driven connecting the lever to the rod which is connected to the switch to be thrown

That's a nice PS4! The live steamer's club in Conyers, GA has a larger one just like it and it was a blast to ride behind it during on of their open houses.
