- Well it's been a month of it: Got married two days ago. Woke up this morn and decided it would be fun to rope a mate in and do a wedding train complete with booze onboard.
Before that we see my family making up a very full train. There was need for double heading in the end.
In the middle we see some maintenance; no Elizabeth running but refitting cleaned lubricator parts and hoping they work OK.
filming by me, Dai and Sarah.
The lubrication was working well on the wedding train judging by the passengers, it is what good memories are made of.
Haha indeed!
Congratulations! May your marriage run sweetly and be derailment-free!
Thanks!!
Finally made an honest woman of her. Congratulations to you both!
Thanks Brian!
Always enjoy your videos🙂
Thanks Gil!
Superb video looks like a great time was had by all ,nice to see the railway doesn't have a drink and drugs policy !!!!! Congratulations to the Happy couple !
Thanks so much nate!! It was fun to make that vid.
I was hoping to see the first appearance of the Elvinley railway breakdown crane coming to the rescue 😢. But seriously, many congratulations to you both on your wedding!
Thanks!! I think we need one.
Congratulations on your wedding, may you have many wonderful years together.
Thanks a lot!
Congratulations on your wedding and what a great way to spend the afternoon
It was fun! Thanks so much.
Congratulations on your wedding. Hope everyone was able to avoid an official investigation into the details regarding the wedding train derailment, you know, booze and all. Getting on and off moving equipment can be perilous. A shifted load my have caused that later derailment. Always fun to watch.
Thank you! It was fun to make.
Congratulations to you both and what a way to celebrate.
No doubt you will now get complaints occasionally about being a train widow, like I do. At least they know where we are !
Haha she is very tolerant indeed!
Congratulations to you both.
Thanks Christopher!
Congrats on wedding
Thanks!!
Cracking little video as usual Ian - Good job there where no NEE - NAWS patroling the line ;-) ha ha
Thanks a lot Frank!
WOOT! Massive congratulations on your wedding matey, that's fantastic news!!! :D A wedding train on your own railway really does look fun....
Thanks so much!
Congrats! What a way to celebrate on the train - not sure about the HMRI no alcohol policy🤭😲😳😲🤭😀✌️💜
Haha yes we have no policy on this line!
congratulations ,have many happy years,love n peace........................jpj
Thank you!
Congratulations and the train is already jealous and demanding attention.
Haha thanks a lot!
Have you read The Forest of Boland Light Railway? I first read it when I was at Junior school (Infants School?) and never forgot it. A few great illustrations.
No I'm not familiar with that.
Brilliant video, I’ve been watching for a few months now and they never disappoint!
Bit of a favour to ask here, I’ve got a Phoenix Tug locomotive and it’s currently being rebuilt and the wiring is soon getting installed. Do you think (when you get a chance) you could send me photos of the controls on the Hefty loco (where the horn switch, battery meter is etc.)? I’d just like to see your layout of everything. TIA 😀
Yes no problem! Glad you like the channel!
Congratulations 🎉🎉🎉 ...by the way I've got two questions for you, the first one is do you not use the run round loop at the end of the line at the bottom end.? And also have you any plans for a signal box in the future. Excellent video thanks 🚂🚃🚃🚃🚃🎉🎉🎉🤟👍🛤️🛤️🛤️🚉
Thanks a lot! I do use the run round but with three coaches on the train is too long to fit in the loop.
No real need for a signal box but could have a ground frame by the shed with the levers for the points in there. Would be a lot of work though!
