@@AndrewJones-cj6yg I think the US Vet sent a very good message and certain people should think real hard about what he said. Not to detract from his message in anyway, police take the lives of their fellow Americans all the time across the country. Yes, usually, for the sake of argument, those citizens end up being killed for justifiable reasons. They broke the law, put other lives in danger, did some kind of criminal act that forced police to take a fellow American's life in the line of duty. The people that the Vet referred to as "what do we call you" won't be committing the kind of criminal act that gets some citizens killed by police but committing an act that is a direct attack on the country and on the institution of US democracy. Traitors is one word that describes them, if soldiers have to take any lives hopefully their conscience is clearer knowing that they took the life of an enemy of the United States. Their conscience should be much clearer than that of police when forced to take the life of one of their countrymen that only committed a common criminal act.

Remember how police were told to stand down, governors refused to call in the national guard, and Democrats paid bail for violent protesters who were arrested? We were told, "This is the only way oppressed people can be heard."

I condemned violent protests and lawlessness every single time it is reported. I condemn the actions of those who stormed the Capitol on January 6th. But I refuse to condemn hundreds of thousands of peaceful protestors because a handful (52 arrested) chose to be lawless and to defy everything the vast majority of the crowd stood for.

What is unacceptable to me, is that it was unnecessary. There was no battle, there were no safety issues, there was no reason to leave them sleeping on a garage floor inhaling fumes all night.

So, what you're trying to say is that the people who attacked our capital (one of our pillar symbols of democracy) who attacked the police, causing the death of five Americans and caused an insurrection were right. These were weak minded adults, adults that should know the difference between right and wrong and every one of them should be held responsible for their actions. And if the former president does not get impeached this time, then I don't know the meaning of impeachment, he got over his first impeachment (qui pro quo) because of republicans not willing to impeach when the concrete evidence pointed toward guilty.
