Also David, the Buster's car was a 420A, not a 4G63t. In reality it didn't even have a turbo on it, Craig Lieberman (who owned the car) said it had only an intake, exhaust, and header, with nitrous, but no turbo. I know, I was 18 when the first FnF came out and that's what got me to build my first turbo Honda, a DA9 Integra, and I pieced together a junkyard turbo kit with an eBay SSAutochrome turbo manifold and downpipe.
Liberman didn't own the car it was a guy in the car scene, Liberman owned the r34 and the supra. Only saying this coz I literally just watched the video of him explaining who owned what cars from the first film.
I have a fp red on mine and it’s the fastest spool for a street car. Hopefully will be running 10s next year. Mine is a 4g64/4g63t head combo so it gets up and moves like a train with the extra low end torque. Hopefully you can come review mine it’s one of the cleanest gsx’s in my state. It’s Saronno red also.
I kept mine stock but Hated it because something always went wrong definitely needed much care thankfully never got the crankwalk on it, used to own a 98 Spyder GST.
Owned 5 first gens 20+yrs ago, racing around. Only 1 fwd, the rest were AWD. Which was awesome for launching on the streets. With a few bolt ons you were trouncing everything except vettes and Supras, and the occasional modded 300zxTT. But a few more bolt on's, injectors and a tune and you were in the 400hp territory till the trans blew, or a rod, then you'd rebuild it stronger, except for the trans. Unless you had extra money left over for a John Sheppard transmission. But the gearing in 2nd, 3rd and 4th was long and perfect for drag racing. 2nd gear in an AWD would get you to 68mph redline, 72mph in the FWD.... Days gone by..

Dig the patina looks like a sleeper
Eagle was a Jeep/AMC car brand , that Chrysler just inherited when they bought Jeep . It was actually around for quite a while under the AMC brand .
These are unknown heroes. If Brian's hasn't been blown up in the Fast and the Furious it would've been a legend
Miss my 99 GSX, T67, 6bolt, welded diff, no front bumper, huge FMIC.. all that power even though it left me wrenching on the side of the rd a lot I miss it. Almost 20 years ago… 😳
Iowa represent 🤙
Days gone by..
they just looked so fucking good.
I love the look of these so much better than the evo’s
That clean phonk intro tho.. 🔥🔥
We may not have got this in the UK,
but we did have the Mitsubishi GTO 3 litre twin turbo which was quite a beast.
This gen eclipse is such a good looking car. I’ve always loved them
I had 5 of these 2g eclipses over the years and always miss those cars lol they were fun with little add ons
Iowa Represent!!!
“Y’all need to drive it when it’s on 35lbs. Let’s do it!” 😂
Would love to see some more content with a 2g dsm!
I'm happy to say That I am the owner of a 4G63T and a 420a eclipse. I LOVE every moment.
Yay no clickbait thumbnail!😁
A built Eclipse was an Underground 2 dreamcar back in the day. One of the best looking and sounding cars ever when dressed to impress.
Let me know if you ever wanna check out a Time Attack prepped 2G GSX.
I know i do. Send David a DM
Reminds me of my old eclipse, same color, same intercooler, same everything, such a nice body style..its the closest thing you can get to a MK4 supra
The owner looks like Lost Malone 😂
The interior is immaculate! So clean
Idk about about any of you, but I love the buttons and switches from the 90s even if they do break 🤣
