Hi Sabina, Amsterdam calling.. We were at Pinkpop June 17th, where Floor did her 2-parter stunt. First solo (with Uncle Henk, yay!!!) and only 2hrs later with Nightwish. Saw Kai among the crowd sharing a beer, saw a little girl standing on a walker from an elderly lady and thought it was the cutest thing we'd ever seen on such a festival. Found out much later, bcz of a behind the scenes video posted by Floor, that the little girl in front of us was actually Floor's little daughter, Freja. What are the odds! (See short clip on my very modest "channel"). Anyhew, tropical Pinkpop was a wonderful experience. Floor was just so utterly excited to be back on the big stage again that she could've gone on for the whole evening.. In November (27th), we're going to see Nightwish in Amsterdam at their long awaited Ziggo Dome concert. I have a sneaking suspicion that Floor will bring Henk along. That concert should have taken place in 2020 already and got postponed several times. My wife and I had tickets, but she didn't make it. Died in my arms, in the fall of that year from a brain tumor. Only 42 years young, Floor's greatest fan. So that concert will now take place less than 2 months from now. I'll be seeing Floor and her brothers in metal with my sister & brother in law. Be wearing a T-shirt saying "TJ was here". Shoemaker will be extra special since it was her favourite new NW song. So I've posted a little tribute to her with a slightly adapted Shakespeare quote, ("her" instead of "him"). Needless to say that I also really feel that "Laudato Si" guy at the end of this NW classic. Cheers from Amsterdam! 🤘🌷

na they were always going to play this one, I said right from the start. The two I haven't heard or seen unfortunately are my two favs one is obviously missing (endlessness) and the other being Pan but I reckon eventually Emppu will work out a simplification to the guitars that will allow him to play it live 🤣 and not fall flat like the pancake he called it!

As soon as I hear Floor's voice sing anything, it is like a switch in my mind, like yes, that is her. Nightwish as a whole are a fantastic band, probably my favorite of all times now, they are so talented and polished. Again though as soon as I hear Floor's voice I start almost involuntarily smiling and filled with joy.
It is with great certainty I say you will be hearing Shoemaker live on 12/1/2022. They performed it during the live show I attended in May. And you are right. It was positively stunning. The band was in their usual stellar element. The camaraderie. The specular musicianship. And Floor is every bit the motherly, warrior goddess. She just beams like a spotlight every time she is on stage and it comes through whether you are at the back or front of house. It was a magical night and I will never forget. I am so happy you will finally get to take that ride!
Damn im crying 😢 again They will most definitely do this song when you see them , its been the same setlist the whole tour ....i saw them back in May and all i can tell you is that watching these live videos are fantastic but they dont come close to what you will experience when you actually see them ....its an experience you will never forget , i promise you .
Tears flow when watching this performance. I saw them at Lowell Massachusetts this past May. It was a once in a lifetime experience. The energy and happiness is contagious. I felt like I was with family having a great time. Everyone was on their feet from beginning to end. Greetings from Alabama 😎

What I find interesting is that when human nature first came out there were people that were saying that the songs of this album might not be good live........... Yeah I think we can throw away that theory now because some of the songs that they've done live from this album have been phenomenal from shoemaker, to tribal, to noise.......... And I saw them in New York City and they did harvest which a lot of people didn't even care for the song but when they did it live the song just completely came to life it was awesome........ And I think having noise as their show opener on this tour has worked exceptionally well......... I think this is why no matter what album they come out with Tuomas always says to people let it breathe don't judge an album the first time you hear it and have all these preconceived notions ahead of time........

The set list is AMAZING, for this tour! I saw them in San Francisco, at The Warfield Theatre. A 2300 seat venue that was built in the 1920's. (Fantastic sound!!!) It was a magical concert! (#98for me.) One of the best shows in my life. Floor's stage presence was so powerful that it was actually hard to take my eyes off her and look at the rest of the band. Her energy is not ego driven. She captures the audience with her talent and love. I'm a 57 y/o man and had the same reaction to this song. You will be moved to tears many times, in a show that is about 2.5 hours long. I envy you, my first Nightwish concert was a life affirming experience.
I'll be seeing Nightwish for the first time in November, and then again the next day! I'm not sure how I'll be able to cope with it, but I can't miss the opportunity after it being postponed so much!!

I was in the 3rd row in front of the scene. The show at Hellfest was absolutely great. I am so looking forward seeing NW again in November at Wembley and in December in Hamburg. This time the shows will be indoor.

Sabina I’ve seen Nightwish live 3 times since 2015 here in Maryland , USA. They are brilliant and yes they did Shoemaker back in the recent May concert. I’m a senior citizen and have been lucky to have been to many great concerts but NW is among the best. Floor indeed gives a benevolent motherly vibe. And I enjoy and recognize the sensitivity in your reaction videos. I can’t afford to be a Patreon but at least I subscribe 😊

Check out some of the Deichbrand ones as well. I actually get super emotional with this song as I had a cat called Nimbus who passed very suddenly & unexpectedly. I found him deceased & I had ages to fill in before the vet was open to take him. So I wrote the words out to this & tucked them in the blanket for him to be cremated in. Also my "little sister" (not blood relatives but people legit thought we were siblings which was hilarious) & I got ad astra tattoos. I've got my whole left side from shoulder to hip tattooed in stars so it worked then. Didn't think about it at the time but hers just was not healing & mine was done. Turns out 2 months later she would get a diagnosis of cancer, very aggressive with like 15% survival rate. I saw her coping, I saw her in awful states, I saw her doing ok, I saw her begin to crash. 2 weeks after I last saw her she passed at home peacefully, surrounded by loved ones (I was on an open phone line for like 4 hours). I've got it made in my will that when I go I want to my cremains be shot into space with the cats & just be in orbit forever. Maybe crash into the moon, that would be cool. So yeah forever a teary song for me & I hope they announce Australia soon cos I'm itching for it
I've said this before, but Floor just sings your soul right out of your body. It's an effortless flow of power, grace and majesty that transports you to... someplace else.
Since I'm a Nightwish fan, I mostly watch your Nightwish reactions. There's something about how magical you find them, I share that sense and it makes your reaction videos enjoyable. Also your voice is amazing, more people should watch your singing videos.
I love your reaction videos on Nightwish.I have to admit that I had to get used to this song before I could really enjoy it.Experiencing Nightwish Live is very difficult to describe.I have noticed that each concert develops a completely unique dynamic. It's the little things that make the difference in the mood. But you will be able to experience this for yourself in December.I will see the band on stage for the first time without Marko in Amsterdam in November. I am sure that it will be a strange feeling for me.

I was there. Conditions were terrible with a heat wave and the sun facing Floor. It was early evening, and still she owned the croud, she is soooo charismatic

I always tear up near the end when the choir joins in with Floor. It's a magical music moment unlike anything else that I've heard.

Sabina I’ve seen Nightwish live 3 times since 2015 here in Maryland , USA. They are brilliant and yes they did Shoemaker back in the recent May concert. I’m a senior citizen and have been lucky to have been to many great concerts but NW is among the best. Floor indeed gives a benevolent motherly vibe. And I enjoy and recognize the sensitivity in your reaction videos. I can’t afford to be a Patreon but at least I subscribe 😊

I actually get super emotional with this song as I had a cat called Nimbus who passed very suddenly & unexpectedly. I found him deceased & I had ages to fill in before the vet was open to take him. So I wrote the words out to this & tucked them in the blanket for him to be cremated in.
Also my "little sister" (not blood relatives but people legit thought we were siblings which was hilarious) & I got ad astra tattoos. I've got my whole left side from shoulder to hip tattooed in stars so it worked then.
Didn't think about it at the time but hers just was not healing & mine was done. Turns out 2 months later she would get a diagnosis of cancer, very aggressive with like 15% survival rate. I saw her coping, I saw her in awful states, I saw her doing ok, I saw her begin to crash. 2 weeks after I last saw her she passed at home peacefully, surrounded by loved ones (I was on an open phone line for like 4 hours).
I've got it made in my will that when I go I want to my cremains be shot into space with the cats & just be in orbit forever. Maybe crash into the moon, that would be cool.
So yeah forever a teary song for me & I hope they announce Australia soon cos I'm itching for it
I've said this before, but Floor just sings your soul right out of your body. It's an effortless flow of power, grace and majesty that transports you to... someplace else.
Since I'm a Nightwish fan, I mostly watch your Nightwish reactions. There's something about how magical you find them, I share that sense and it makes your reaction videos enjoyable. Also your voice is amazing, more people should watch your singing videos.

I love your reaction videos on Nightwish.I have to admit that I had to get used to this song before I could really enjoy it.Experiencing Nightwish Live is very difficult to describe.I have noticed that each concert develops a completely unique dynamic. It's the little things that make the difference in the mood. But you will be able to experience this for yourself in December.I will see the band on stage for the first time without Marko in Amsterdam in November. I am sure that it will be a strange feeling for me.
