So after we took our line in it’s about a 1/4 mile to the next big turn. We switched sides so the other tug could push the stbd bow around if need be and I pushed the port quarter around. Also had another tug on the port bow with a line in case he needed him. Thanks for watching 🫡
@@tugboatwilly843 I understand why you positioned yourselves as you did. What I don't understand is why you didn't slide up to Starboard shoulder and the other tug take port stern side.

Does he not have full steering on the ship and doesn't your laying on him make it hard to keep in the channel on his own? In any case, so awesome to watch... almost makes me think I'm a kid again wanting to watch the tugs and be a Captain.
Hey now! We are laying alongside because he is heading for another turn and he wants there in case we need to drop back and push. As long as we are laying flat it doesn’t really affect the ship. Thanks for watching 🤙

I love watching your videos. I just went looking to see if you had an email address listed because I had a couple of questions for you and I just want to say congratulations on your sobriety. I lost my nephew a year ago on 30-Jan-2023. He struggled on and off since 2000. Maybe even longer. I miss him so much. If this is too much you can delete it, I will understand.
I totally understand and I know that’s not easy. Sobriety is the best thing I’ve ever done for myself. This disease is very powerful and my heart goes out to you and your family. Thanks for watching

The tug I’m on is bigger with more power. You always want the more power on the quarter.
