I have played the game for over 10 years now but I'm glad to see your beginner friendly content again, I always prefer to link your videos to my friends that are still new to the game over other content creators which dont always seem to remember what it is like for beginners.
I did a lot of essence farming in strands/colonnades, alternating between both with singular focus, and bulk selling when I had 15D+ worth. This allowed me to gear up my character to do the same in T16, but with searing exarch influence added, delirium for deli orbs, and a few other things. I made hundreds of divines with that, and it's pretty fun corrupting a big stack of essence and getting hysterias and such. Great strat!
This is the best guide I ever watched as casual player. Non of that elite mirror ter builds killing maps in second and calling it beginner friendly strats... I love this man! And thank you !!
I dunno. instantly deleting essence mobs is a bit misleading considering Essence farming is a relatively entry-level farming strat. He advises you have "decent damage" but doesn't quantify what that means. The anecdotal 'I removed a link from my setup' also means very little to a character that is very geared/leveled. It's a good guide but the demographic of player who this aims to apply to can be mislead a bit. Affliction's economy is also a massive joke that we (hopefully) won't ever see again.
Did this strat earlier this week using a 119 point atlas tree. I blocked all league content and used my points to pick up strong boxes, shrines, and harpies. I skipped all bad boxes and non king harbies. I also whooped the 16 change awakened sextant and could pick it up for .4 to .6 div. I bulk bought good layout white maps at 4 to 6 chaos each. I have a pretty quick character with high single target damage, I even swapped my normal helm for a Gull and my boots for Seven League Steps and took the wildwood passive for 30 extra ms if no gems in boots. With all this I farmed a HH in one day. By far the fastest I've ever farmed one.

Right now using the correct gear on that character ive passed 400m single target damage.
Hi ZiggyD. Your proposed atlas tree for minimal essence farming at 3:50 is not very efficient. You can get 7th gate and all of the Essence notables in only 47 atlas points (7 less than the on the tree you linked) by routing up the left side of the tree instead of the right side. Ber careful using Path Of Pathing to generate trees. It does a decent job of showing a path, but does not optimize correctly for multiple required nodes. Here's the code for the tree on the official Path of Exile website's atlas tree planner. I'd put in the exact link, but UA-cam tends to eat comments with links. been reading Crystal Resonance wrong this whole time. Thought you couldn't hit them with a remnant of corruption as I thought that would lock them from being released. Was also thinking of looking up essence farming/selling a few days ago since Ziz talks about it alot and you ended up providing a great one. Been having a blast with your Arc build and even planning on trying pinnacle bosses I've never gotten around to fighting before.
just as a small FYI. You can make way more money if you do bleached T16 Essneces + Searing Boss farming on something like City Square. Just rush to the boss, ignore everything but the Essences and go out, do it again. It took me around 2min to clear the map for that. Most of your profit will be Essences and the Invitation's by far so it's not worth increasing the time it takes to clear you maps by running them Magic or Rare as both the Essences and the Invitation Drops aren't affected by the Quant/Qual. You can also add the Shaper/Elder/Sirus map drop passives and later on, when you are strong enough, Delirium chance as well for even more profit. This is a lot more profitable then just normally running Essences
@@jamesbentcork3375 i do but not sure how I'd share the screenshot. Just take all the Essence Nodes and follow the left side alongsideb the Seven Gate. Also takes Stream of Consciousness through the portal. S econd priority is taking both of the Searing Exarch notables at the top and go to the Shaper/Sirus, Cortex Map drop chance from there. Whenever you are ready for Deli, just take the Deli chance nodes called That Which youb Seek, Singular Eternety, Compulsiver Hoarder and the whole Paranoid Fixation Cluster. Deli orbs sell like hotcake and keep an eye out for Lv.84 Clusters. Those drop decently frequently and just the bases sell for decent money. If you get a i.84 Mana Res Cluster? Congratzs, that's almost 40 Div. Dropped two of them so far and I got my HH with this Strat pretty easily
Also, unlike other farming methods, you get your money very fast, and you can get it in divines, you dont need to convert chaos to divine later which is tedious. Other farming methods, like Simulacrum or Blight etc, you get all sort of items, which almost all you need price check, put on sale, and wait to be sold, and you get bunch of various items which is additional work- cuts profit per hour because you dont get your profit right alway. The only downside of essences is that you dont get big drops, if you only focus on essence monsters, and its low tier maps, i mean sometimes u will get random divine, but no like 3 passive voices or 3 passive mana reservation clusters in Simulacrum, or Tainted oils in Blight + random expensive divination card etc. Its steady profit, no risk from losing it there is no chance for not gaining more than invested at end of map. After you grind enough currency you can switch to some higher tier map strategy where if you juice maps well bigger items can drop. Also, dont know if he mentioned it in video, always convert essences into more expensive ones via Harvest bench, it will increase your profit with little investment, and you can't lose money, just buy blue harvest lifeforce.
That's why I like to combine essence farm with bossing, you work towards the chance for some of those bigger, more exciting drops at the same time! Good mention on the harvest convert, I should check that one out.
@@ZiggyDGaming yes, bossing could be upgrade when you buy better gear to do rare tier 16 maps, to get altars, and u can upgrade altars to get even more currency, sometimes i get 10-15 awakened sextant in 1 map from altar, or same amount of grand eldrich ember which sells for about 12 pieces for 1 div. 1 click of altar doesnt take much time and while you clear minions passing thru map its just aditional profit, also can often add aditional loot to bosses.

Alva temples are 3-4div per chronicle, if you get at least one of double corrupt rooms, this league. I think it is more consistent than waiting for rare beast to show up.
Another more advanced version you didnt mention is spamming the essence memory. I was buying them for 3div each and doubled my currency each time. Best to buy around 10 then blast them all and sell in bulk on a break. Made a headhunter in 2 days by just spamming the memory casually
@@beasthaven1571 yeah they are crazy good. The lowest bulk price i got after running 10 memories was 54div in 1 trade (this was 125% ninja price) so 24div profit (22d after buying remnants). If you are fully specced into essence strategy you get alot of 5+ essence monsters especially because of crystal lattice node (15% chance for +3 essence).
