I was a few hours into farming essences when I saw this video dropped. Forgot about running them in yellow maps! Respecced my tree a bit and going to mix in Einhar.
I know this is a few months old, but how are you sustaining maps? I barely get any map drops running the white T6s, are you running them rare or is there something I am missing
Is there any point in alch'ing the maps for this strategy, or is that just making it harder with no benefit? Should I just run these maps plain? thanks
@@PathofEvening Thanks for the reply. One more question - when I started experimenting with this, I already had a ton of essences. I upgraded like you did in the vid, but according to wealthyexile the value of my essence tab actually went down from like 15div to 10div. Is it possible that upgrading isn't always the most profitable? Or do we upgrade because it's easier to sell the top level essences?
@@atomicleaf the latter. A lot of times the cheaper essences are only “more value” because that’s the minimum people list them for, but they might sit for awhile. I farmed essence a few leagues ago and just left my essence tab as public and mostly people were only interested in the highest tier ones
LoL... I decided to do this farm literally two day ago xD The Pathfinder Forbidden Rite build is just so good to kill bosses that I just could not let this opportunity to go away. Just farming blank T16 maps with more than one boss and trying to farm all frag/T17 maps possible + Beyond + maven (Since she can spawm more bosses and sometime can also have essences lol)

Strand is absolutely better than his choices. Then again, that is a subjective opinion. If you can self sustain strands by only running strands, do it imo!
what do you think about empy's setup, you think its also good in yellows ? (dropping crystal resonance and one adversaries for essence scarab of stability into corrupting a lot of essences)
Not really for league start, since it is a build that's reliant on uniques, but Storm Brand Heirophant transitioned into this really smoothly, so that probably would be the way to go: ua-cam.com/video/e-i7IuxU1ME/v-deo.html
i dont like that u need a crazy build to even farm essences now .. even for only t6 and the mapboss think makes it way too hard for what u get out of it. like why would i make the game crazy hard on hc to farm some essences ?? dogshit move from ggg.
@@PathofEvening i play hc since is started poe, i will never play sc. but essence farm was always something you could do in low maps with a shitty build, you only needed some atlas points and 2c per map. if u wanna compeat with other ppl farming essences now u need a pretty strong build to even farm it on t6 like why ? and "just play sc" is kinda a dumb answer.

Yeah, trading the stuff sucks. They typically sell quickly, but making "10 div per hour" in the form of 20c trades is painful lol

Yup. Just don't list them for 20c at a time if you don't want to do 20c trades.
Definitely a drop I ratio of replies. Though been finding that people really appreciate when I tell them just a sec to finish before the trade

You can just run them white! They'll be faster, and potentially more profitable per hour since you can run them more quickly!

No, you can run white maps, i use essence + eater on white t16 + ambush.

You have to spec out of Crystal Resonance. It is worse in terms of currency per hour.

Haven't tested it, but it's probably fine. If it's Essences, it's good in yellow tier maps.
