Proper English engineer talk, love it. My Juke's starters just gone so I go the dude at my local small business garage £450 later and a full days work and its done. Support local people!
I’m glad it was of help that is one of the reasons I do these although I would say it’s not necessarily the only way to do it it’s just the way I did it
Yes you are correct, I checked in my book and it says $78, HELL NO this is where you must have some idea what is needed the book does not know what is involved and thinks it is like a normal starter.
Just did the starter on my 1.5dci juke. Not the easiest thing but having seen this I must have been lucky!! Dpf sensors on the diesel, now that was designed with the intention of small skinny arms or a major strip down
Looking for videos on how difficult starter replacement would be on mine. I love my Juke and wanted to fix anything to keep it, till now😂 I might be looking for a new favorite vehicle
I just recently look at this video.... Someone said Love and Juke after we all see how difficult it is to remove starter. I just wanted to walking in the park. I have not started anything and it's gonna be hot for today's. I hope I can do it. Love juke?😆🤨🤔I must continue laughing🤣
Hey man keep making this videos about nissan and make sure you keep reminding us what type of people work at nissan atleast I don't feel as bad and take a minute to f nissan for there s. 😅
I’m putting a transmission in one now. That’s how I stumbled on you. Mitchell tried to explain this. Fucken Nissan does it again! Damn clips too! Thanks for your agony. Thanks 🤜🏻 Actually book time on the trans is 11.3 wtf?
@@jagvette1 Hi No but I'm happy to be of assistance It looks daunting but it's not that bad tbh . I found the hardest bit was working out where the wires terminated but this didn't matter in the end because they move clear when you take the bolt out of the bracket .
Really were you here ? , NOPE, Can't wait to see your video on how to do it, wait you don't have a channel or any subscribers, what a surprise. PISS OFF keyboard troll.
@ i did this literally yesterday all i did was remove the intake manifold and a couple hoses and i got to the starter but you clearly one of those mf that up charger customers for bs like this so keep doing that😂😂
OOOOOOOOOiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii, yeah hahaha this thing where made by STEVIE WONDER , BEST DESIGN to keep you coming back to the dealer, WHAT THE FOOOOOK, while you where there you could change the clutch if yours is a manual, same thing and more has to be done to do that job
It’s actually a customers car for some reason he likes Nissans he has a Nissan truck and a Nissan juke I hate working on both of them the truck is huge and the juke is just a pain in the ass but he pays well. Yes car designers do that so you have to go back to them to get the work done and therefore they can charge you a bloody fortune I hate car designers and I hate plastic on cars
Removing air manifold, and vacuum hoses is only 6 bolts and few clips. 10mm and 8. Then two bolts on starter. Took ten minutes! Job well done!
Please you need put the video
You can sholme?
Just did it, i took rad hose off too, fast asf, fuck stripping front end!!
@@JO03GRNfr thisbis NOT THE WAY TO DO IT

@@jagvette1 I do know that but having the visual of how it's done is the best because the website my shop uses just says remove everything
This is long method, come straight out from above
Is it a 200 or 300quid labour job I'm thinking? Looks hectic!
Yes you are correct, I checked in my book and it says $78, HELL NO this is where you must have some idea what is needed the book does not know what is involved and thinks it is like a normal starter.
@@jagvette1 thanks mate and thanks for the video! Newer vauxhall vivaro starters are the same, all the front end off! Thanks again, gaz
If your left with a few nuts and bolts after the jobs done. Your know you drank to much wine 😂 cool video bro 👌🏽
Is it possible to drink too much when working on a juke ?
Just did the starter on my 1.5dci juke. Not the easiest thing but having seen this I must have been lucky!! Dpf sensors on the diesel, now that was designed with the intention of small skinny arms or a major strip down
Yeah it was a real pain, I tried many different ways to get to it.

Yup it is not the easiest job. Good luck if you try it.

Best video I’ve ever seen
great hope it helps you with your projects, lots of Gin and Tonic make it seem not so bad :)
Im dying trying to do mine right now. Cannot figure out the clip thing on the wire passing to the alternator
BEST. TUTORIAL. EVER.
Glad you enjoyed it, hopefully it helped some keyboard troll just like to complain.
You remember the alternator we tried to change on that Lexus??
Yep badly(or cleverly) designed shit just to make car manufactures money and screw the public.
Thank you so much for this video!!
Now I am fighting putting the starter in, Ferk ME
give it hell AND DRINK SOME TEKILA WHILE AT IT
You are a funny guy! Great video!
Glad you liked it, I do this for fun and hopefully gives some help.

Just in case anyone needs to do this in the future. You do not need to rip apart the front end.
Great lets see your video
I've just changed my 1.5 diesel starter motor and there is no need to do 90% of whats been said
Did you do a video?
@@jagvette1
Hi
No but I'm happy to be of assistance
It looks daunting but it's not that bad tbh .
I found the hardest bit was working out where the wires terminated but this didn't matter in the end because they move clear when you take the bolt out of the bracket .
Give us details on how you got it out, I’ve managed to get all 3 bolts out with removing the bumper but there is no room to pull out the starter motor
I didn’t had to take the bumper off … just the manifold and I have access to it .
Guess there is more than one way to skin a cat :)
That’s what you get for working on a JUKE!!!
I can see now why dealers charge $1200 to do this. I’ve got a put my prices up
should have taken manifould off much easier
All you had to do was remove a couple hoses and the intake manifold you did the absolute most for no reason 😂😂
Really were you here ? , NOPE, Can't wait to see your video on how to do it, wait you don't have a channel or any subscribers, what a surprise. PISS OFF keyboard troll.
