Great video, thanks. Saved me a lot of trouble trying to figure this out on this PITA repair. I found that it wasn't necessary to drain the coolant and, by removing the throttle body (4 easily accessible bolts), it easier to get to the last 2 manifold bolts. Also that wire to the alternator is connected to the bottom of the manifold with a harness connector (that can be seen ìn your video) which has to be unclipped before you can pull the manifold all the way out.
great video man!,the only other video i could find the dude takes off the whole front bumper, radiator supoort and fans it would have taken forever not to mention getting the body panels snapped back together perfectly
I couldn't tell you if you needed to or not. it's just how i went about it. Maybe something was hitting, but I'm not sure. Also yea it was awkward bc it was doing it at work 😂 but i wanted to show how to do this shitty job in the simplest way possible bc i couldn't find good information on it.
I did it w/o draining the coolant, but it would definitely have been easier to remove and replace the starter with that big a$$ lower coolant hose out of the way.

@rikanaka glad it could help! I'm just tired of doing everything firsthand with no guides, so i try to make it easier on the next person

Thanks man! I really appreciate that.
Great video! Thanks for taking the time to do this. About how long did this take you?
Honestly, idk, but with a video, i would reckon 1-3hrs max.
i like this (bout to do my starter) but why did we drain the coolant? didnt we only take off the intercooler piping? i may be mistaken lol
btw you awkward AF but so am i so i dont mind. and i appreciate you had everything ready and loosened to just pop off on cam. perfect filming lol

Great job sir 😊
Thank you very much!
I've seen transformer toys that are less complicated. what a pain in the ass.
@defineboredom the way they make em 🤷♂️
Removing the intake it’s crazy , if you remove the bumper and the cooling fan is way easier
this way is def easier than taking the front clip off
@grayblackwood6741 eh can't argue with em just let him believe
