Apparently in the original Japanese “conviction” translates more to “convict”, as in prisoner, as in Japanese conviction (belief) and conviction (to imprison) are two distinct words unlike in English. So the title is referring more to Inquisitor’s Mozgus’ imprisoning of people than it is referring to “making a conviction”. Although I too initially thought it meant “to hold one’s conviction”, but no it means “convict” apparently

Smart choise to slow down the pace a bit, you could've done the whole Lost Children Chapter though, for completion's sake, just 7 chapters more, but how could you have known, I should've said that at the last video, sorry. Sorry I don't remember how you had the rest of the Conviction Arc planned out but since there're 6 volumes left, and the climax part is quite complex and have flown over a lot of first readers' heads, myself included, I suggest splitting the rest of the Arc in 2 or even 3, so either 3 parts with each part 2 volumes of material. OR the other way around. I would actually recommend the former, but if you really feel like you wanna squeeze in some more material for the review after volume 17 then go for it I guess.
Y'all should check out Juujika no Rokunin aka '10 crosses' it's about a kid who is bullied but the bullying reaches a point it should not reach and he gives up on life...however he is taken in by a family member , few years pass and then he comes for the people who bullied him
The Japanese fairytale that I heard was a fisherman helped out a sea turtle and was offered a trip to a underwater city. The fisherman falls in love with a mermaid but starts to feel homesick so he ask to go back up for a little bit the mermaid didn’t want to let him go at first but agreed and gave him a specific time to return. When the fisherman returns he realizes that things have changed, it’s been 100 Years and he reads about a missing fisherman who’s family tried everything to find him, in his distress he misses his time slot to return to the underwater city

I pronounced it in my head the same way as you guys for my (first) readthrough, but her name is actually Italian or Italian inspired. So it would be pronounced more like 'Caprese' (as an Italian would pronounce that, with emphasis on the 'pre' part).
The elf’s don’t exist in the same dimension as the physical world. When the child visited the elf’s he unknowingly walked into a dimension that doesn’t follow the same rules as normal time and space. Therefore when he left it was the future. It’s part of the greater plot not plot convenience because it’s a child’s story.

Time flowing differently with supernatural places is a common occurrence in Berserk.
