    UV gel application:
    1.Prep the nail
    2. Fit the form
    3. Apply dehydrator, wait until it dries
    4. Apply Primer
    5. Apply a very thin layer of the gel only on the natural nail. Cure for 30 seconds in UV lamp or 10 seconds LED.
    6. Create a foundation - apply small amount of gel on the form and create desired length and shape. Cure for 2 min in UV (or 1 min LED).
    7. Take a pig drop of gel and apply it starting from the cuticle. ure 1 minutes in UV (half curing time).
    8. Pinch the nail using gel clamp
    9. Cure for another 1 minute.
    10. Take off sticky layer.
    11. File and shape, buff the nail.
    12. Apply Go Color, one layer is enough. Cure for 1 minute in LED.

    Ok this is the thing, she's looking up because the screen that show how the video will look is over her and she wants to see if the video is outside the edge or something similar. She's just looking up because she wants to make the video as good as possible for us. So we should appreciate that. Thank you for the video.

    This was really informative and helpful. Thank you! And don't stress about people complaining about ridiculous stuff, such as looking up. It was apparent that you were simply trying to keep in frame. Anybody with a working brain should have realized that and appreciated that you were doing it.

    • @MadeleineHenderson
      @MadeleineHenderson 5 років тому +3

      Sam Hugh, it is annoying and my brain works perfectly well thank you. Being a successful UA-cam artist means perfecting all the little things when filming. If people can't accept constructive criticism then this isn't the place for them. If you give a lecture in a lecture hall you need to do it in a style that holds the attention of the audience, this video doesn't do that because of the constant lookingup and sideways, it would be best not to have the mini shot of her in the corner, it just detracts from the excellent information she is sharing.

    Thank you a lot that was very helpful! It's been some time but I want to leave a comment anyway.
    Regarding all the comments about the thickness of the nails: I also do my nails that thin, at such a length it is absolutely no problem for me. I like it more that way as they fit with my natural nails and if I am careful they also won't break. I remember Suzie from NailEducation saying how she fits the thickness of her nails to her client - if there is someone that can handle thin nails than why not.
    I also did not find it distracting that you looked up once I knew why you did that, actually found that very cute and considered that you always kept in mind checking that we will see everything.

  • @tracyleytem109

    Omg I cannot believe how critical people are! Jesus people, she is sharing how SHE does things. Nobody said that you have to do it her way. If you don't like how she does something or she does something incorrectly just don't say anything and leave it alone! Someone is probably going to respond to me saying "I was just trying to help her so she knew the correct way to do it". BS... Because I've read almost all the comments and the ones that are complaining are coming on here JUST to be negative. I haven't seen anyone offer an alternative to what they THINK she is doing wrong. I'm just so irritated that you guys are being so rude when she spent A LOT of time preparing this for everyone! Who tf cares if it's not perfect? Just keep scrolling next time and stop being an internet bully!

  • @valentinablue288
    @valentinablue288 6 років тому +3

    I don't think you applied the nail form wrong but it looks like there's a little space on the free edge which means the form is not completely under the nail. You kept pushing it up into the free edge and it kept coming back off the free edge while you continue to keep working adding gel layers... why didn't you cut a deeper smile line so the form fit better? I see you already cut it once, nothing wrong with cutting it twice to ensure proper fit.
    Please don't take offense to my comment. I have learned a lot from your videos. Just genuinely asking.

    Anastasia, you make it look so easy. Mine look like the surface of the moon once the product has cured!! It never comes out smooth. Also it always pools no matter how I hold my hand. I always have it facing down, I don't go too close to the cuticle or anything. But it stills pools when I take my hand out the lamp!! I also find that the polish is thicker at the free edge than the rest of my nail. It all gathers at the free edge no matter how I hold my hand!! Please help??? Much Respect 🌹♥️‼️

    I always got in trouble in nail school for running my finger down their nail, and I never understood why, but then I figured, on my own, that I’m transferring oil from my finger onto their nail. I noticed you doing that right after you cleaned it, did that create a problem for you?

    I seem to be having a problem, when I do my builder gel after I file and dust off the nails then I apply 2 coats gel polish then 1 coat of top coat. Some of my clients are coming back that there gel polish is peeling off why is this happening?

      Quality of polish? Are you capping the free edge with you polish and top coat?
