@@ming45612 Not all Eldar are Psykers, in the active sense. While yes, all Eldar have psychic potential, the vast majority only utilize it for using items with psychic triggers or as a second form of "body language" to communicate with other Eldar. If we're talking actually manifesting and/or denying warp powers, that's beyond your usual rank and file craftworld Eldar (never mind Drukhari). It's more complicated than that, because Slaanesh is involved in limiting Eldar potential, but that's a whole other thing.

dont think Orks fit the bill for a companion... first because with how orks reproduce, that means any planet the rogue trader goes to will be at risk of ork infestation thanks to having an ork buddy, and the rogue trader is likely aware of that. Second, cant imagine the ork wont go around punching crew to death (Orks do that with eachother, humans arent as tough on top to take the hit and live) and breaking stuff. I hope they will let your character be a psyker. Its not available in the alpha and I worry cos it would be quite irregular for a rogue trader to be a psyker. I love playing as mages though
I think Owlcat is getting better with companions, back in Pathfinder I found most of them annoying, in Wrath I found a few I really quite liked, here it seems like a nice variety and more varied backgrounds.
Mhm I know nothing about rogue traders lore, but It's surprising af the inquisiton would go as far as to tolerate a non sanctioned psyker traveling around "freely". Hek, there are reasons they don't, I'm not having that timed bomb, potential heretic, chaos influenced character in my party.. But I guess the rogue trader license makes it easier to build an interesting enough game.
Considering what tabletop game has been, it's mildly dissapointing that we won't be able to play as Xenos. At least now, then who knows. I really would have enjoyed to create my own Interex.
Hello, lore buff here. It is theoretically possible to drive a ship through the warp without a Navagator. The one time it happened, the master of the fleet in question damned the souls of an entire space marine legion. Since that was his plan from the very beginning, win?
I don't treally like that you can have the navigator as a combat companion, a navigator is way to damn valuble to risk in a fight. Sure a Rouge Trader can do as he/she pleases, but it would be very reckless.
Doesn't change the fact that most Rouge traders wouldn't put their navigator at risk. But wouldn't ban it either. On my play through, the navigator stays on. The ship. LOL. Unless succumb to heresy.
Do they call it an empire in game? Cause that is supposed to be a big no-no from The Imperium. I believe they should be called Dynasties, just like the FFG games, so hopefully this is just a small mistake on your part.
It's so cool to have a sister of battle and a space wolf in the same team, so epic.
A SPACE WOLF!!!! NIIIIICEEEE

Is there a Space Marine Companion?
There will be
I really expected a Deathwatch Kill Marine, but that Will nevera happen.
Waiting for a mission named "Pasqal's Wager" ... because its sooooooooo easy
...there better be a guardsman.
Aren't to have Space Marine is already too OP by the lore?
any info on pets or summons?

@@MortismalGaming thanks man. Still can't wait to know.
I want a space marine as a companion or more tan one.
6:13 when I get my hands on the game it wont be theoretical!
I'd love to have a squat companion
Wont be in, was already stated GW announced the squats too far into this games production to add them
So which one is the secret heretic who will betray us? seems like Owlcat's MO lol
Abelard, I'm calling it right now. He's the dad figure who steps up when your mom figure dies. Dude has got to be evil.
Obviously Argenta. Secret Slaaneshi cultist im sure.
My question is there going to be romance just like Pathfinder?
There will be
Can we customize our character/s?
Not currently, but it will be a thing later
@@MortismalGaming Awesome to hear! Just one more thing that cements why this is gonna be an instant buy once it fully launches.
Considering what tabletop game has been, it's mildly dissapointing that we won't be able to play as Xenos. At least now, then who knows. I really would have enjoyed to create my own Interex.
Space pirate mama, sniper waifus, pysker kohai waifu....i know what my team is....

Sure a Rouge Trader can do as he/she pleases, but it would be very reckless.
pretty sure navigator is a player class in the rouge trader TTRPG
Doesn't change the fact that most Rouge traders wouldn't put their navigator at risk. But wouldn't ban it either.
On my play through, the navigator stays on. The ship. LOL. Unless succumb to heresy.
No space marine companion?? Dang. :(

@@MortismalGaming *fingers crossed*😇
That promotional title card they put out seems to imply there will be a late game space wolf hasbando. I mean companion.
@@humungus3 We know we get a Space Wolf
Do they call it an empire in game? Cause that is supposed to be a big no-no from The Imperium.
I believe they should be called Dynasties, just like the FFG games, so hopefully this is just a small mistake on your part.
In game it's correct, I just use the word empire a lot personally and refuse to change
eldar waifu just like roboute
I'm literally killing the unsanctioned psycher the first opportunity I get. But I am also keeping the Eldar babe.
We need more xeno waifu.
