One of my favorite aspects of this game has always been fighting the giant bosses. Especially the ones that have giant swords because once you make them drop it, you can pick up the sword yourself to deliver a one time hit of massive damage towards them. It never gets old for me.
@SilverNightbane the giant boss battles where really cool! I didnt even know that was possible with that boss! O: guess I will need to boot up the game again to check it out.
@@GreiratEinzel Yeah, even the starting one with the giant sword works. Blow up the sword arm and then once you're close to the handle, a prompt will show you can use it once.
I just started playing daemon x machina and not only did i complete every mission it got me into mechs something I wasn't interested at first but I just loved the gameplay and wanted more games like it
@@GreiratEinzel Yep. Bald, bright green skin, aggressively orange mustache, and then the royal armor suit in bright green and orange. Fit right in with all the other whack-jobs XD
From what I understand the game's development was somewhat rushed. Originally the game was supposed to have multiple endings. There is also a sequel that has been rumored which could hopefully solve its issues.
@matt1324 The rush development would explain the lackluster story and its writing... hmmm a sequel would be cool thou might be hard to pull off considering the lack of success for Daemon x machina. Would be cool thou!
Honestly, the game looks like classic Armored Core games. It has a good and solid foundation, and they should make more of this; they won't get it the first time around. It took From Software decades to master their AC games as well, with the PS3 games being good and AC6 the most polished out of all AC games. More mech games on the market, the better for us consumers. It also encourages healthy competition. Black Myth Wukong and Lies of P being so successful, it puts pressure to From Software to not get lazy (yes they are not lazy at all but more competition the better).
@edmonddantes759 aye, its rare to get it right at the very first try but its indd a good foundation to keep working from and I hope they can and will. On the Armored core games I cant say much and as of right now wont for a long period of time. While competition and option for the consumer should be great for the genre in general in current day game industry healthy competition doesnt work in the sense it should. The multi million dollar companies that can take the risk to make something unique or new usually dont. We mech game fans must look to smaller studios or indie devs to get our fix... for now :P
I just found out about this game like 2 days ago and it looks so cool, but man the screen is so full of information, I mean you can almost not see what your shooting at if it had more space it would be so much better
@@GreiratEinzel Long story short I get withdrawal symptoms when I'm away from Amored Core 6 for more than a few hours. Nothing else really compares to the "turn my brain of to focus on fast mech game" feeling.
I truly feel that the switch hardware limited this game. If the studio was given a serious console with a goof budget, the potential is scary. One thing I want to praise most is the style DxM looks so dynamic and stylish. The colors never seem to degenerate even eith huge explosion going off all over. This game is a gem, I go back and pve from time to time.
@GaleHarquebus They didn't have to be humanoid, especially if flight is the main point of mobility. That should have been the point for the devs to allow for out there designs. Quads with multiple thrusters, hover tanks, etc.
@@Foreseer117 You already accept flight is the main form of movement, so it even makes less sense to pitch that changing the leg type matters. Even flying animals bigger than insects each only have a pair of legs. I've gone through the whole game bro I tell you, it's really not like Armored Core. I daresay it's just like a mecha Monster Hunter with an Ace Combat mission structure.
@lual8 Personally I find such a conclusion to shortchange both games as they have different core designs and there is more nuance to it in general. But I guess it is a conclusion one could make :/

Ahhhh the character creator. My first guy was normal, and then I made a bright green abomination I named “The Pickle Man”
@Artemie-np3qu haha I think The Pickle Man fitted better in the setting than the normal guy you created xD

Commenting just to say ZoTE is one of the absolute goats
i loved zone of the enders
@smackout I knew I was not alone :')
That game was sooooo good i still replay it to this day,it's really a shame alot of people don't know about this game.

I guess on a different note, I really wish Outer (as a mechanic) was more fleshed out. Maybe in the sequel...

@zacharydobbins6267 Havent dabbled in Armored core yet :/ but heck yes on the love for Zone of the Enders! :D

Are there no alternate leg types? Its all just biped? Really? That sucks
It will really be useless to have them since you basically fly.
