If you have have difficulties with Fire Giant just use Black Fame Tornado, it absolutely melts his hp with percent based damage. Blood also obviously works to but find black flame to be far more effective.

not exactly a debuff, ds3 has 2 types of defenses, absorption and defense. Absorption is pretty easy to understand, the number that shows there is a percentage of damage taken from an attack, now defense makes no sense, but it scales with level, and is only active when you have armor on, so it ain't a debuff, you just didn't activate your defense. Though I will say, if I remember correctly, 0 defense makes you take more damage because of how the damage calculations work

If all the bolts hit the can actually proc bleed more than once per volly instant killing most enemy types with little or no bleed resistance.

So, yeah, if you stand still as far away as possible and make him teleport again, he'll choose the same spot. It's just that, 99.99% of the players would use a weapon that requiers them to be AT LEAST close enough to lock on, making him teleport to other places.

Watching all these magnifficent runs inspired me to go for another DS trilogy run myself, this time taking on NG+. It's been a long day downloading all the texture mods...
7:00 I recently did a run with bow only and it COULD POSSIBLY break the bridge. In addition, there are two ways. Greatbow with exploding arrows (hard way). There is also a simple method that I discovered by accident. Skeletons that throw knives(I remember that this skeleton seemed to have claws and knives. He is standing near the passage to the bridge) at you can break a bridge with these knives. Just lure them closer and try not to die. I'm actually surprised no one does this
I haven't watched it yet, but after struggling to just kill one boss with a greatbow in my most recent DS3 run, I can only imagine the pain of going through the whole game with it in NG+2
on the deacons of the deep, you can try to drag the first phase around to the other side of the giant coffin and then once the true boss appears run back and youll have a large window of time where all the other mobs are not there to block your shots
Think I love most about runs that involve crossbows in any Fromsoft game is the hard proof and confirmation that damage per unit of ammo is more important than damage per second, especially when you can only carry a limited amount of ammo, and even more so when ammo costs money/souls/runes.
i kinda want to do something like this in elden ring going ng: light bows ng+: bows ng+2: crossbows ng+3: greatbows ng+4: ballistas kinda the same rules JK does with throwing everything out at the start of a new run and forcing himself to reget armor, weapons, upgrades and such.
I'm a bit late to the party on his one, but you can totally have Siegward save Greyrat after talking to him in Irithyll. You just have to not progress into the dungeon until after he saves Greyrat. If you exhaust his dialogue, and he goes to sleep, he'll still be in the main area so long as you don't start the dungeon.
Fun nameless king fact: When he does his charged lightning strike (the same one as the dragonslayer swordspear WA), if you look away from him the charge always misses.
The best way to defeat the second wyvern is to stay underneath it and kinda go in the corner on its left side. The mighty shot attack helps but maybe putting a status would help with the barrage skill
You can talk to Siegward in Irithyll without ruining Greirat's safety. It's just the dungeon that you have to avoid, until you beat a boss (likely Pontiff).

I have always said this, Bows make half of DS3 easy, most annoying and dangerous enemies can be sniped with CERO drawbacks, Oceiros can be cheesed, the lothric castle dragons, ultra cheesed, gargoyles are a breeze, all 3 Friede phases can be cheesed with greatbows, all 3 outrider knights can be deleted in less than 2 minutes with the right shots, all of farron keep is a sniper dream, Abyss Watchers can be staggered to hell and back with any greatbow, twin princes can be deleted with any bow with the piercing weapon art. Don't get me wrong, I love my dex and str builds, but sometimes taking a break from desperate rolls and parries is nice.

The multihit crossbows are really best with the bleed inducing flechete bolts. IIRC Gael's bow can cause it to proc multiple times from close up, so they can be really good against bleedable enemies.

You should try Deacons on NG+ with Crossbows only, it's actually really fun
