"*cough* damn still cloud in my lungs"
Repeat
There is a common bug that cause this radio signal to not trigger.
Late reply, but...
Yeah, first playthrough I got that too, really annoyed me. I'd heard the whole speech before but to be unable to hear it after triumphing in my own game, just irritating.
The holorifle is my main in owb
@@mr.nothing8031
Should be the main of any sane EW character, but I understand some folks love their plasma casters
@@mr.nothing8031 The Holorifle is how potent even for non-energy weapon characters. I did the same and brought it to BigMT
i was able to escape the same way except i used the dynamite that you got earlier to kill elijah and with some luck his body exploded towards the door so i ended up getting all the gold bars and his stuff
This dlc was that good that it felt like a personal victory in the real world to not only escape but to know Elijah will spend the rest of his life rotting and knowing he failed
İ love how he talks about ulysses helping him even tho he is my companion
This is extremely satisfying
"think about what your throwing away!" yeah im throwing away my debt
It's sad that Elijah couldn't offer anything to us that we couldn't get by other means.
Armies? We have it
Collars? We have them
Power? We have it
Control? We never truly lost it, from the momment Elijah thought he outsmarted us, he lost, he was no longer pushing us, we where just pulling him where we wanted him to be.
"it's about letting go"
me with my 37 gold bars:
~~yea letting go of my poverty~~~
"i need you to gain access to that vault or else i detonate your collar"
"im sorry please let me go"
Courier's final message to Elijah: "I gave you the Sierra Madre, and now you are one with it for good".
If you side with the Legion, you can get a unique game ending where Elijah and you can work together to spread the cloud on the NCR
That's if you're hostile with the NCR in general, not necessarily siding with the Legion. You also need to have gone through Veronica's questline if I'm not mistaken.
Ain't that a mod
We have to be vilifed by NCR and we need to do all diologe option from Veronica about elijah, joining elijah im base gamę is only a easter egg you will die after ending slides, but with "masters of the madre mod" you can experience it
You must be friends with Veronica and be hated by NCR for that dialogue.
No need to side with Legion
@@izek402 no it’s actually in the game, I went to go test it for myself on the Xbox and I can come to the conclusion you can side with Elijah
pfft ,i escaped with a 37 gold bars in my inventory, but didn't get my revenge on this geezer
Didn't he stuck in there forever
It's sad as brilliant as his character is, you don't have a means of letting him live without him doing evil
Locking him in the sierra madre’s vault is the justified thing to do, and incredibly poetic. He’s murdered dozens in his pursuit of the riches in the sierra madre, and to be trapped there by someone who knew how to let go of their greed is fantastic writing.
@@starrazor9558 yeah... let go...
*37 Gold Bars removed*
Name the evil thing you do when you let him live
@@Testingthisname Elijah and the Courier team up and release the cloud on the Mojave
@@starrazor9558 yeah but theres no way he is trapped in there. He has tons of scrap metal, electronics, terminals, a pipboy and a literal infinite vending machinehe can exploit for anything. He will escape, its inevitable. He escaped Big MT easily
My game bugged out so that his regular radio loop from before this kept playing. Even when I exited the DLC and he was trapped he was muttering like normal.
I used a modded companion with me, it was a protectron, was the only company in the whole dlc besides the other characters, i got to the vault and fast as i can i loaded all the gold into the robot and we scape toghether, love protectrons ❤️
No way I was let old Eli live on my play through.
House said Terminate the Brotherhood of Steel.
Royce and Eli were the last 2 Liabilities on that list.
I always got a good chuckle out of locking Elijah inside the vault. Him throughout this whole DLC he mocks the courier. Thinks of him as nothing more than a slave, but once the tables have turned? Now he starts begging you as if you've been pals for ages 😂
I'm still watching this 1 week after I took all gold bars It feels so good it took me 36 attempts so screw you father Elijah
RIP RICHARD HERD 🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️
Too bad Elijah, I intend to live forever
I also remember if you take all the stuff also has different dialogue.
Wish there was a way to reason with Elijah and take him back to the Mojave
I really hope in the season 2 of fallout they bring Elijah back in ghoulified form saved from the vault and Hank Maclean recruits him to rule the mohave with the technology recovered from the Sierra Madre.
Interestingly enough, you can also hear this radio at the Big MT too
Never realized how fucked up this could be lol. Never knew you could hear his last ramblings before leaving him to die there locked away. I always just walked away and never looked back
First time I played this I was able to get all the gold, trap him, and escape. Never knew there was this afterwards.
“I didn’t come to the Sierra Madre because I wanted treasure. I didn’t take the gold because of my greed. I came to this wretched place out of intrigue and took the vault’s contents out of principle. Now you have what you want Elijah. Now tell me: was it worth it?”
May there be a hell for you, Tartarus… Bleak, unending
wow that was interesting! thanks for this!
My game completely glitched out so the game still thinks he's alive and even after leaving the sierra Madre I tune into his speaker and it's him talking about how he needs to get into the vault 😂😂 the ending slide show of the DLC didn't even mention his death either 😂😂 it repeated the line of "the tales of the sierra Madre ended and it had no other visitors" 3 times 😂
I was able to do this and the damn thing glitched so I don’t have his final message. It just plays the earlier recording of him talking to himself.
elijah : the sierra madre... waitiing
courier : hahaha gold goes brrrr
Left the Sierra Madre Vault with no chips, no gold bars, but put a fuckton of food suplies and water. To make sure he'll be there for a long.... long.... VERY LONG TIME until he dies of thirst/hunger.
I always tried getting this message after trapping him the vault.
The only i remember getting was him trying to get out.
I replayed this several times but couldn't get this one
I really, really hope this ending ties into the show in season 2
It took me like 5 tries, but I took so much gold.
*me who saved the sierra madre till the last, 100 percenting the big MT, using it to store the bars, chips and pretty much anything because I have fast travel while overencumvered, taking a sip of my trusty vault 13 canteen*...Interesting...
“You said you wanted to get into the vault. You didn’t mention anything about leaving!”
No ill be living forever helping people Elijah
My second favorite DLC
I don't know what it says about me that I've never, not one time, been able to resist taking at least one of the gold bars. But it probably doesn't say anything good.
Rule the wastes with what’s down there? Elijah, brother, you must be confused. I already got the gold! Why would I need an empty vault with an old man in it?!
**Elijah’s panic intensifies**
Me when everyone else leaves the discord call
He wont say this in my game, just plays the older tape of him talking about a holorilfe
Elijah really needs to learn to let go
