  • The Guardian follows Parit Chiwarak, known as Penguin, one of Thailand's prominent protest leaders as he helps organise one of the biggest anti-government rallies in years. He and many other young people are risking prison to demand a significant democratic overhaul: they want the power and wealth of the monarchy curbed. Parit said he already faced 18 charges, including sedition, for his involvement in previous demonstrations. More rallies are expected in Bangkok on Wednesday

      It’s far from the truth!
I’m Thammasat U alumni and I utterly disagree with this mob who often uses the University name to back themselves up!
Thai King is fine. Royal family has done more for the country than Thai politicians, all combined, have!
The current Thai government is also fine since they’ve come from elections and they have shown progress in developing the country, even during the global hardship.
This mob is citing democracy but it actually is oligarchy!

Where they have Semi-Absolute Monarchy it's not an absolute monarchy like Saudi Arabia, Oman and Brunei where executive, legislative and judicial power are vested to the monarch and it's not constitutional monarchy like United Kingdom, Denmark, Spain, Norway and Belgium where their monarchs are just ceremonial figurehead.

Symbolic place,Sanam Luang is the "Field of the King" by the way...So,I really hope that there will be a safe way of this conflict, discussions, decisions,at the people's advantage, because crocodiles never digest the human teeth......
