Great review as always. I am considering a deep thinker or gril master or both. What do you think are stand out differences? Are they different enough to have both?
Will my bindings and boots be too stiff for this board (Bataleon Astro Full Wrap and Burton ION. Both from 2023)?. 190 lbs, 6'2, US 11.5 - don't like the wide verios. Is it a Deep Thinker in 160 from 2024 a good choice for me?
Not at all! Those would work great with either of these boards! 160 is right on the money size-wise, the wide model would help a bit with toe and heel drag in an 11.5 boot but if you like the slightly quicker edge to edge feel 160 is perfect.
Own 2020 versions of both. This review is spot on. HTH 152 is super floaty for the size and the sweetest mid section flex while still being very stable. DT 154 rails a turn and floats more than you would think.
We have tested the High Fidelity - it rides and feels a lot like the Deep Thinker but because of its tail shape is a little easier to pivot quickly. The trade off is a touch less grip than the Deep Thinker on groomers and firmer conditions.
Thanks 🎉

Awesome comparison! Can I ask if you have had a look at the new Burton High Fidelity. How would you compare the 3?

@@TheSkiMonster Thank for your insight.
is it a lots stiffer than the HTH?
@@rogerpye1865 Not a lot, slightly but overall still a medium-stiff board.
Thanks again. Your comparisons are super helpful!
