I appreciate how, even though the Raptors are the most practical chapter, they still have a *few* nods to the gothic flavor, specifically, the candles and incense over on the side and the Seal.
The stamp is a seal for an Oath of Moment. Basically beyond their normal generic oaths the Astartes will take on specific vows for a particular mission. They literally pin the oath papers to their armour using those wax seals before combat. Not all Astartes still uphold the tradition in the 41st millenium but it was more prominent during the Horus Heresy era. Generally speaking founding chapters are more likely to maintain the tradition while successor chapters are less likely to.
"They shall be my finest warriors, these men who give themselves to me. Like clay I shall mold them and in the furnace of war forge them. They will be of iron will and steely muscle. In great armor shall I clad them and with the mightiest guns will they be armed. They will be untouched by plague or disease, no sickness will blight them. They will have tactics, strategies and machines such that no foe can best them in battle. They are my bulwark against the Terror. They are the Defenders of Humanity. They are my Space Marines and they shall know no fear." --The Emperor of Mankind.
Whatever happened to watching part 2 of leutins the emperor of man? Thats where we get into all the good stuff. Its chock full of very important lore. Its a must watch!
@ti8ick unacceptable!! I wanna watch it now! 😉 Just kidding, I do look forward to your reaction though. It goes over a lot of the important events of the heresy and a lot of the big changes the imperium implemented due to the hard lessons learned because of the horud heresy. This is where you'll learn about why the imperium is the way it is now. It's a great video.
I love how informal this suiting up feels compared to the officially license video does. It feels so "straight yo business" which is a perfect fit for a Ravenguard.
@@thebighurt2495it’s really fitting for the Raptors because they’re probably the most practical, pragmatic, no nonsense chapter in the imperium. They my favorite.
The Raptor Marines was a fan-made chapter a few years ago before GW made it an official one. These marines are known as reasonable marines, or like our modern-day spec-ops and elite forces. They use proper tactics, stealth, and long-range warfare, as opposed to the rest of the space marines, who are more medieval-like. There was a story once in which a Raptor used diplomacy to convince the Tau not to invade a planet.
Raptors were not fan-made since they have been part of the 1st edition of Warhammer 40000 since 1989 and White Dwarf 101 in 1988. Your talking about the Retributors chapter in Astartes which in 2021, they became a canon chapter thanks to the success of the fan film. And they are not THE Reasonable marines since they are non canon, joke/meme faction however the Raptors are considered the closes chapter to a canon version of the Reasonable marine.
Told you Raptor was good stuff. Now you should check out Max Murray. He did 3 short animations about the Dreadnoughts that is pretty cool. You'll want to watch them in this order. 1. Waking Dread 2. DREAD FALL 3. THE RED DREAD
Good question, because I really want to. Was wondering if there's a good overview video on all Primarchs and after watching that I'd love to watch the individual ones.
@@ti8ick ua-cam.com/video/RXW1RhI9vUA/v-deo.htmlsi=Vp8-dt0xIRQRQkjg This is a hour long quick overview on them all over videos are hours long. Also I love the videos and you should definitely do the legions as well as the primarchs
Playing devils advocate here, i think that the short was beautifully made but some of the animations felt like someone turned on fast forward and they were too quick. If they were slowed down i think that they'd feel weightier and have more impact 🤔
The Raptor chapter are the most realistic and grounded chapter comparable to a modern military. The whole incense and purity seals aren't really their thing so I'm confused about their inclusion, and my only criticism about this animation is the pauldrons are far too small and the Boltgun doesn't sound correct
I believe there was a 40k animation by GW which existed before the StarCraft one which had a guy stood on a plinth being armoured by machines and stuff. But I understand
The best looking suiting up cinematic till today for sure but at the moment nothing comes close to Astartes when it comes to Space Marines in action.
Agree. I guess at this point I was just treating Astartes as an official cinematic lol
The only thing missing at the end is the guy going "Hell, it's about time"
Tychus vs Titus. I'd watch that..
If you want another fan done animation then check out Lord Inquisitor - Prologue and its Lord Inquisitor - "Grey Knight" teaser.
Thank you! Got them saved to watch later, I guess the time has come
Pontus Ryman is now days working as a Senior Environment Artist at Digital Illusions, which is part of Epic Games ❤🤙
❤❤❤
A bit on the longer side, Ms. Tibick, but you might be interested in "The Last Church"!
Yesssss I’m planning to watch it next week ❤

*bonks*
Focus ma'am! This is a Holy Ritual!
I mean, it's a Raptor, he's suiting up.
By the way, it's even lore accurate, because Raptors are chapter than doesn't worship Emperor as God, and they doesn't use this rituals.
I was actually wondering that, I have no idea about their chapter
@@ti8ickbaldemort has a very good video where he goes over their chapter. I highly recommend it, these guys are my favorite Space Marine Chapter.
Very beautiful armoring sequence!

Tychus Finlay from Starcraft suiting up, scene by scene...
I can't believe this video is already well over 3 years old. Also, congratulations on reaching 20k subscribers! Halfway to 40k now...
Thank you so much! 40k is goals haha

Hi Ti8ick you sound a lot better today ❤

Technically, this is the Raptors, but they *are* Raven successors

Not stupid screwing on a multi part helmet in this one.

I recomend scorch as well
For lore videos to watch I suggest Baldemort, WolfLordRho, and Majorkill
You forgot the GOAT of 40kLore Amber King!
That's almost what it's like building some of the newer models 😂
Hello Ti8ick hope you great weekend, you cute lovely sweetie being 😊😋🥲💖
Not bad but Astartes is still king.
Yes !!!
Astartes is the best .
Astartes blew me away. I had zero knowledge about 40k when I watched it, but I was in awe
Told you Raptor was good stuff.

Thank you! Added them all. Hope I don't forget the watch order by the time I react to them lol
GW made a video just like this and this fan made is better
Next react to the cean is way deep then you think.😊
My thalassophobia sends it's regards
Just noticed that you still haven’t seen any of the *Lord Inquisitor* clips, what’s with that?
Waiting for the opportune moment to react to them? :D
Scorch is pretty good too
Definitely a clean and good cinematic, but the best? not in my opinion
And one more thing.
You just have to watch "Faith" is also amazing fan film.
Oooohhh thank you! I don't think I've heard of this one yet!
Great video but I suspect that there was more than a little inspiration drawn from the Starcraft II teaser trailer
Right? The atmosphere! I was waiting for him to say “It’s about damn time” 😂
Does anyone know if she will ever be reacting to individual primarch lore videos?

Yeah, I noticed this especially during the short action scenes: him stabbing an Ork and shooting. Still an absolutely beautiful piece of animation 😊
Ah what blizzard before they were blizzard dreamed of doing.
Neat-o, but we all know this is just the SCII cinematic trailer from a decade and a half ago.
There ain't no way anything beats Astartes, it's great though
You've not seen Astarted
the only thing wrong with this is the dumb primaris helmet-

Astartes
Not to be that guy, but its basically the starcraft cutscene
I believe there was a 40k animation by GW which existed before the StarCraft one which had a guy stood on a plinth being armoured by machines and stuff.
But I understand
does anybody get how beautiful this woman actually is you are bad ass
Not the best. Astartes 1-5 is THE best.
It looks like a rip off of the starcraft 2 tychus armoring video
