The white armoured apothecary at 3:24 getting just swarmed and buried in aliens is one of the best half a seconds of video in any of these 😄. #Horror/awesome
I've been playing Nids since 2nd edition (1993), the quote that sold me on collecting them is: "The more I learn about these aliens, the more I come to understand what drives them, the more I hate them. I hate them for what they are and for what they may one day become. I hate them not because they hate us but because they are incapable of good, honest, human hatred." I was 9 or 10 at the time, but for some reason that really stuck with me... aliens that were incapable of hate, just wanting to eat everything. Now I've gotten many armies since then (Salamanders, Tau, Imperial Guard, and Sisters of Battle (Witch Hunters at the time)). Some of the Tyranid designs in this trailer date all the way to back then, but some are totally new too. What's fun about the nids is as they're constantly evolving, they get new designs/units every now and then. From about 4th edition on, it's mostly been new units, but 2nd, 3rd, and 4th edition the Nids radically changed every edition.
Man i have almost the same spread of factions as you haha. I too went through the 2nd edition through the crazy evolution (appropriate in this case!) of the tyranids in 3rd 4th and 5th editions. I think my favourite 'era' was definitely 4th, back when vehicle rules were all or nothing, and a carnifex was a terrifying can opener that needed every gun thrown at it before it got too close or it was game over :P.

But it features Roboute Guilliman waking up after his 10,000 year nap, and launching the Indomitus Crusade and unleashing his newly created Primarus Marines (Space Marines that were improved upon from the Emperor's original creation, yeah it took the Mechanichus 10,000 years just to figure out how to slightly improve upon the Emperor's original creation, that he did with only 1 planets resources). Anyways primarus are bigger, faster, smarter and stronger then regular Marines. Called Primarius because they're [slightly] closer to Primarch abilities than regular Marines. Though a Primarch would still easily defeat 10 of them without effort in moments. But it's all about branding...
There are no good guys. Everyone is worst in their own way. Something you need to know about 40k is that everything is canon but not everything is true. And this has to do more with propaganda that Guilliman addresses in the video, too. In the video that was a Teleport Homer triangulation signal meant to deep teleport Indomitus Terminators (Primaris Terminators) into the front lines. Guilliman was probably trying to communicate with the Emperor in the Golden Throne who is behind the at the Eternity Gate of Terra. At the end of the video they went to the high ground of a Last Stand giving reference to the iconic Crimson Fists (Imperial Fists 2nd Founding Successor Chapter after the Heresy)
40k CAN have good guys, it's just the task of actually doing good (relative to your species/faction at least) is so difficult with how terrible everything is all of the time. There are good characters in countless works from 40k.

Plus there's nothing like having a carnifex flip over a Rhino APC like he just lost at Risk 😁
liking tyranids just means you have good taste they are the best faction, only competing with the kroot the thing falling from the sky was a homing beacon considering teleportation uses the warp, you dont always end up where and when you intend and to prevent ending inside the ground or walls or friends, or the past, they tend to use beacons to make it slightly more reliable if they have the option
Building on other comments... first, the teleport homer! Obviously if they teleport into a ship, Necron tomb, habitation block etc then sending down a homer like this won't quite work, so depictions vary. It's featured here because this is the first time a model of a teleport homer's come with Terminators. Hopefully nobody adds too much detail and spoils some novels, but homers can be carried and concealed other ways, since teleporting is a big surprise among other benefits lol. In this case it's literally big; now you see marines in Terminator/tactical dreadnough armour! This armour is derived from engineers' suits that can operate in plasma reactors, if I recall old lore well. They also have more onboard systems than typical power armour, and of course this helps them achieve and survive teleporting. I agree they did Guilliman well here, how bitterly or wryly he says "victory" at the end! The Ultramarines get it pretty rough in this trailer, and 10th edition was followed by even more new space marine and Tyranid models than what was in the Leviathan box. There was a community event to see which of these extra units would be revealed first, and the Tyranids won! I heard a few comments that some new, huge Tyranids were wildly powerful in lore - or in game - such as a Norn Emissary easily beating a Custode, but we'll see. Hopefully it doesn't add too much to Guilliman's ultra-depression :)
@@xxchaos315xx6 yeah their kit has had them for many many years, i have an old one from back when the plastic was a slightly different tone :P. So farrrr from a new thing.
Well, the point of teleport beacons is that it greatly increases the survival (like not finding oneself inside a bulkhead) of terminators as well decreases the chances of getting lost to warp during teleportation. They don't have to use a beacon for teleportation, it's just advisable that they do.
@@Caderynwolf There's a part in Death of Integrity iirc, where a terminator teleport misfires and lands him half way through the ship-decking, killing him instantly.
@@Musabre This was represented in rules as well (it's the same with eldar warp spiders), I don't know about the latest rulesets once we hit 5th edition we just stuck with that, it was getting too over-simplified - I very much miss vortex grenades they were so much fun, when they work... even more fun when they don't - which I get, GW wanted to make the game easier for new players to get into, and speeds up games, but you lose a lot of the tactical sneaky cheap shots you used to be able to do (sniping leman russ tanks flank armour from being at just the right angle for example). While you "could" teleport your termies in on the other side ("on top" of the desired target, mine was usually a basilisk because that thing is just annoying - however I played wolves so no teleporting, I instead took advantage of the rules "behind enemies lines" and "terminators", imagine somebody in dreadnaught armour trying to be quiet and sneaky, and guard never noticing) for an instant and massive tactical advantage, it had massive risk, of all the worst case scenarios if you were lucky they'd just be scattered and you might be able to get them back into cohesion without losing any but your advantage was shot, worst case you lose some to the warp.
Yeah, a few factions have teleportation as an option. But it requires a ship and a beacon to do it right. Or orks just yolo it I guess. Mine issue if they didn't drop the thingy first is they can be off which can mean the force can end up in a tree or wall or something which is a really dumb way to die.
Something for a longer series of react videos, check out Helsreach. A beautiful animation based on the book, Black Templar space marines defending Hive Helsreach from Ork invasion. It’s a couple hours long but is an amazing story and video.
The greatest 40k story ever written. "I have dug my grave in this place, I will either triumph, or die. No pity! No remorse! No Fear! Onward brothers! Until the end!"
I like how the vibe of the previous edition (with the Necrons) is: Yeah, there is only war, but we can fight this and we shall persevere. While the vibe of this one is: We are so screwed! We are BEYOND screwed!
Note that this disaster is all Guilliman and his Codex Astartes' fault. He could have removed the 1000 battle brothers limit, but he didn't, and then complains that the Imperium doesn't have Legions and is outnumbered. Space Marines chapters should have been recruiting as much as possible, as fast as possible, without compromising the quality of their recruits, but nope, having 1500 or so Astartes counts as "Legion building", not even "Bataillon building", because the Administratum doesn't know how to count (most Legions had circa 100,000+ Astartii).
It is an awesome trailer but you have to question the sanity of the people who made it, a demi-company of Ultramarines with a Captain, Librarian, Dreadnought, Terminators fighting a night battle against Tyranids on a completely random jungle planet without any support (completely ridicolous scenario). They just wanted to make a cool trailer but would have been nice if they could make it not feel stupid.
There's an old trailer of Warhammer 40k called Warhammer 3 Dawn Of War and Son Of Sigmar that was before the Space Marines it was like a Medieval Version of it hope you watch it.
Thor would be a Space Wolves Rune Priest (the equivalent of another Chapter's Librarian). They are Space Marine specialists that wield psychic powers. If you want to impress Space Wolves fans, call them Vlka Fenryka. In-universe, the Wolves call themselves that, and laugh at those that call them Space Wolves.
I’m heretic as well, just something about Plaque Marines and thousand sons. And as a once avid StarCraft gamer, the nids are basically Zerg of the WH verse.
Honestly while the trailer is interesting, this is pushing it at how fast they change editions. New edition every 2 year is doable but I think every 3 oro 4 year would be more to the liking of the players. As with every 2 years many would feel they need a new book after a handful or two games
I wonder if or when GW will finally give an end to their franchise, will they let the Imperium or humanity as a whole just die to finally end their suffering & misery? That seems like a fitting end with all this grimdarkness.
Watch the video again. His whole role is a cynic speech the imperial propaganda would want him to say. But since it’s all a lie and the hive fleets are impossible to stop, and he knows… he feels sad
He most likely is - he seen Imperium after thousands of years of falling, fanatic religiosity and internal rot. He seen ideas of his Father in ruins and basically what Lorgar was pushing on the beginning triumph. Nothing strange he end depressed.
That's because he is, have you not heard his "Why do i still live?" speech? He's alone in his quarters and asks himself why he's even still alive and that seeing the Imperium now, it would've been better if it burned during the betrayal of Horus. He sort of wants to die, but he swallows the feeling down and decides to keep on going
I haven't heard that speech. Got to check it out. I mean, I get where he's coming from, but we all know he can't give up as long as there is work to do.@@ironduke5058

That was a very, very low resolution Guilliman. One day, some demigod artist can do justice to a primarch, and we will see one of them in hi res.
Warhammer is just awesome.
Ultramarines doing their part in cleaning the galaxy of disgusting xenos. Guilliman lead us!
I like how the vibe of the previous edition (with the Necrons) is: Yeah, there is only war, but we can fight this and we shall persevere.
While the vibe of this one is: We are so screwed! We are BEYOND screwed!
The feeling of hopelessness at the end of the cinematic....
Belief won't save us. Lies will not protect us.
To war. For the Emperor.
Helsreach when? ❤
check out the cinematic for chaos gate daemon hunters, its dope
They just wanted to make a cool trailer but would have been nice if they could make it not feel stupid.
all these characters are in and of the Leviathan box , except roboute
There's an old trailer of Warhammer 40k called Warhammer 3 Dawn Of War and Son Of Sigmar that was before the Space Marines it was like a Medieval Version of it hope you watch it.
Does Guilliman just stand there all day dramatically closing and opening his eyes again?
Have you watched Pariah Nexus on warhammer tv??
Haven't watched it yet, but definitely will!
Thats the lord commander of the space marines the 13th primarch Robute Guilliman
Original Dawn of War Opening Cinematic is totally baller.
I was there during the reaction. Loving your Streams
Thank you so much for stopping by!
my pleasure. Slava Ukraini@@ti8ick
I’m heretic as well, just something about Plaque Marines and thousand sons. And as a once avid StarCraft gamer, the nids are basically Zerg of the WH verse.
Other way around. Zerg is a copy of Tyranids.
@@raveouscarlias4479 Oh yeah I know WH old AF, just was giving a comparison and low-key plug as a Zerg main lol.
You got to take a look at old Warhammer Dawn of War trailers, especially DOW 1 & 2
When u gonna start ur own tabletop army? And wich ones?
Hi is not a Thor he is just psycer. And yes Terminators from 1st company are cool
We March for macragge
And now let us all hope, Henry Cavill will play Roboute. :)
Honestly while the trailer is interesting, this is pushing it at how fast they change editions. New edition every 2 year is doable but I think every 3 oro 4 year would be more to the liking of the players. As with every 2 years many would feel they need a new book after a handful or two games
I'm glad I only enjoy the lore and painting the models. The tabletop component seems so much more involved.
Ah, a fellow Lineage 2 Dion theme enjoyer. Nice.
you should join the GSC aka the genestealer cults
Do you think you will ever check out the WH40K RTS games?
It’s giving…UltraDaddy😍
I prefer Tyranids over Chaos and Orks every day of the year.
You should play IRON WITHIN, IRON WITHOUT - Iron Warriors
One minute she seems to know the lore inside and out, the next minute she doesn't ?
Hello Tibick, you have beautiful smile , how sunday going?😢😊❤
Helloooo, doing good! Hope your Sunday is treating you well too!
he has lion el jonson
WAAAAAGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!
Hello Ti8ick hope you are doing well
Has she reacted to The Lord Inquisitor yet?
Not yet
Not yet but I have it on my list of videos!
Вот и не осталось практически CG видосов по вахе, пария нексус не в счёт, интро из игр только, ну и Death of Hope для атмосферы гримдарка накатить.
I wonder if or when GW will finally give an end to their franchise, will they let the Imperium or humanity as a whole just die to finally end their suffering & misery? That seems like a fitting end with all this grimdarkness.
STORMBOLTER!!
Как всегда красавица )
The toilet seat is greek letter and it is upside down. not roman or Latin alphabet… greek, latin meh… they all the same…. Mix and mash
watch the dawn of war 3 trailer!
U neeed to watch hells reach it's worth it...
PLease watch 'Bob and gav' by Vox in the void.
Yes.
Oooooh this is interesting! Added it, thank you!
@@ti8ick there's a number of Tyranid horror stories you might enjoy too by Vox.
Make sure you look pretty for UA-cam. 😮 ❤
Day 2 of asking @ti8ick to watch any lore video done by Remembrancer 40k
Hahah I will I will, eventually xD I have so many videos to watch but I promise I will get to them
Is it just me or does Bobby sounds a little depressed?
Ratatouille Girlieman is such a mood.
Is it the contouring make up but it makes your nose really red
you xenos loving heretic :) !
Lucky you The Emperors Most Holy Inquisition loves you sister or this would be a classic Xeno Lover Hereric purged from the History whit a glorious Exterminatus and followed by the Black Templares ...Just in case... 😅
You should play CHAOS GATE. You will love it!
You should start to read some Books, or Audiobooks.
do you play 40K the miniature game? or is this just for likes?
Here's your answer: ua-cam.com/video/XMVV8AF0Rqo/v-deo.html
Never let anyone tell you Darktide is good .I literally bought a turd and couldn't refund it.
I think I got it for free with a GPU purchase, I could at least try it out
@@ti8ick Yeah when i was playing it when first came out I played tutorial and went multiplayer. Nothing but disconnects and game ran like shit.
Thats on you Dude, i play Darktide since Release and never got more then 3 Crash's at all, and those were in the first Week.@@bombyouup62
Maybe your Hardware is not up to the Task, i dont know. But neither me or my Friends can relate to your highly negative Comment.
Darktide slaps really good.
istg she is a Genestealer cult member
They do not act as spacemarines. So slow, so useless.
Short video "Astartes" represents how emperors angels must be.
In this video astartes are like Robocop. Slow.
compared to the "death of hope" video is s//t
Bad whiny writing, trying to sound profound but coming off as meandering. GW writers might need to reconsider their GCSE English marks.
Yeah he sounds whiny and meandering to you maybe. You forget this is the same guy who woke up, saw the Imperium and wondered if it was better that he'd died and Horus won. Of course he's going to sound "whiny"
@@ironduke5058 Step out of "in-universe" for a second, if you can. I am not referring to the character or the character's attitude to things. I am referring to the writing itself. Those two things are different.
The writing is not concise and is long-winded and meandering because the writer cannot deliver the sentiment they are trying to, so they vacillate.
You might have trouble separating the fantasy from the reality but I have faith that you will get the nuance if you really try.
