Just made this. 10/10 recommend. I used chicken broth vs white wine and it’s still very flavourful. For garlic lovers like me, you won’t be disappointed. Thank you for this recipe!
Stop using murdered bird broth!!! Use vegetable stock!! There is no reason to use murdered animal products when you can make a delicious dish without it!!! Do you have any conscience???
Love the simpler recipes for those crazy nights. I've never made spaghetti without a store jar of pasta. So thank you for this because I always have these ingredients on hand and I grow tons of basil. Love the technique for rolling and chopping the leaves. Thank you!!!
This whole recipe costs less than buying a jar of pre made sauce. It tastes so much better too. You can even grow Basil in a pot on a window ledge if you don't have a garden. All of Albert's recipes are quick and easy to make, and quite inexpensive, very tasty and you feel good after making them from scratch.
It is so much fun to watch these videos. Taking less than eight minutes to demonstrate a dish that takes 20-minutes to prepare is quite a saucy technique. The sweet addition of showing the names of patrons for a longer period of time than demonstrating the chopping and cutting portions of the video, show that the main ingredient to Spain on a Fork are the viewers. Many thanks for giving us these super simple recipes.
I made this and it was a big hit. I made a small Caprice salad with some crusty bread with balsamic vinegar and extra virgin olive oil and the whole thing was done just over 30 minutes. Thank you…
I had a bucket of super sweet 100 cherry tomatoes and looked this up a couple hours ago. Made it and thee bowls were spotless afterwards , everyone loved it. Great video and receipe
An abundance of cherry tomatoes ripening in my little garden so I have all I need to make this dish. Basil is perfectly ready as well. Thanks for such a great channel.
Great simple dish when you want to take advantage of the daylight during summer! Just throw in the fresh summer produce and you've got yourself a great summer meal!
I have been regularly making your recipe POOR MAN'S PASTA! I will add this Cherry Tomato & Garlic Pasta to my repertoire of quick flavorful meals. Thanks to you, my list of quick meals is growing!
I just made this on my new induction stove top; used basil from my garden and boom; this was so delicious, of course I had no wine but I used vegetable broth instead. Love love these fast easy and tasty meals, fresh grated parm on top thanks so much. much love and peace from Canada
I like to add some of the pasta water into the pan as well. It helps to emulsify everything. I have been searching for the best recipe for fresh cherry tomato pasta. And your’s is hands down the best!!! Thank you?
this is a fantastic recipe. to make it even better, use 12c dry sherry instead of white wine and add the noodles to the pan when they have 2 moe minutes to cook so they soak up the juices. fantastic recipe!! keep it up bro!!
looks absolutely delicious. What a revelation , white wine and tomatoes. I thought it should be red wine, however it seems you cook with the white and drink the red! Here in the cold wet and murky uk , I am seriously going to try this. With a whole bulb of garlic.Such a wonderful hearty and warming dish for a wintery night. Keep your wonderful recipes coming Kindest regards Joy in the UK
This was delicious! Wow, the sauce comes together very quickly. My family really enjoyed this. I doubled the recipe, and sadly there were no leftovers for lunch the next day. Thanks for the recipe!
This is an awesome recipe! Thank you! Our cherry tomatoes are just coming in and ripening perfectly! This is on the menu for this weekend! I have made something similar. Whats nice is that its ready seconds after the pasta is done cooking, plus a couple minutes to allow the garlic olive oil to soak into the noodles. And this is a great way to pair the wine to your dish!
OH MYYYYYY...I just made this...it was So So so yummy and FAST. I have made so many of your recipes. Thanks for your help. Whether or not I should have, I added Chinese cooking wine(all I had) and kalamata olives. I also used bucitini and the noodles sucked up all the great sauce! Thanks again
WOW, that was great, I just made my own version of it because I dont like alcocol and I didn't have any oregano in the house, I did the pasta with garli, cherry tomatoes, basil, salt, black pepper and I added a knob of butter, absolutely fantastic, I have subscribed !
Looks like a GREAT simple lunch!!!! I can smell the garlic here in Florida!!! Gracias for for this recipe.....Since I've starting watching your channel I buy garlic by the bag!!!!!
I make this all the time with angel hair pasta, from a magazine recipe from years ago. I can't wait to see how you make it. It's a great way to use up cherry tomatoes.
I've been making it without wine and cheese (vegan version) using pasta water instead of wine and it is still delicious. The garlic-tomato-basil combo is incredible. I'll try it with the wine now. Thanks for the recipe!
Albert: *_I💗SPAGHETTI !!!_* Especially one _a la Spain on a Fork!_ Now THIS is *_garlic🧄 goodness🧄plus🧄!!!_* Another WILL-make... and soon! Thanks again. (Fan from San Francisco, California.) *!!~
YUM!! These recipes always look so much better when you cook them, than when I cook them. ;-) Thanks for this--and thanks for your excellent tip on how to chop basil--so efficient! ❤️💛💕💕💛❤️
In total agreement here. When I observed the method of cutting basil, I bookmarked the technique in my cranium. This evening, I made this dish and took some of the more sturdy, tougher basil leaves off of my plant. The cutting method not only softened the tougher leaves, but made adding the basil as a garnish so easy.
I also made this for our evening meal. Everything went together so well. Much appreciation to Spain on a Fork, for giving us cooking techniques and recipes, using items we mostly have on hand.
I make a similar dish like this. I always have frozen basil cubes on hand and it’s really handy if you don’t have fresh. You can find frozen garlic and basil in frozen veggie isle
I made this yesterday. Alas I had no white wine and was too lazy to make stock so I used a half cup of diluted lemon juice. It came out a bit "meh". Today I tried again. This time with wine but I had a large tomato that was saying to me "use me NOW or throw me away later..." So I used that with a coarse dice. I also added some small black olives and after putting the pasta into the "goop" I sprinkled on some Panko bread crumbs. This time it was delicious. I mad too much by my wife gobbled it down anyway! Thanks for another great recipe and your other food ideas.
I make this the exact same way. Sometimes I leave the tomatoes cold, pour over the garlic and oil with added pasta and good dollop of Ricotta, as a summer dish.
I saw this video this morning and made it for supper tonight. Lol, the one time I don't want to add more garlic 🙃. Delicious. Next time, a skewer of shrimp to accompany is all I would add.
Oh my gosh, I made this dish tonight, very easy to make, the end result was amazing, I was a little hesitant about the amount of garlic used, I followed the recipe per your directions and I could not be any more pleased! Thank you Albert for your wonderful recipes.
Albert, this is yet another ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ recipe. Whenever I hear that guitar music coming from my wife's i-pad, I know it's going to be a great meal. Is there a "Spain on a Fork" cookbook in the future?
I love this dish. The first time I ate this was in a roadside restaurant between San Sebastian and Pamplona. Today I found your recipe for this dish and a recipe on vincenzosplate youtube channel. Thanks

The rolling and chopping of the basil leaves was a masterclass in itself!
Peace out!
