Tip for if you’re not the best at piping: Use a bigger tip size! The bigger the tip the faster it’ll fill the jar and make it easier. If there’s space left at the bottom you can tamp the jar down to get it to settle just don’t do after your final swirl on top as it can mess that up. Also if you mess up the final top swirl you can always just scrap it off and redo it!
Thank you so much for sharing this video. It was Awesome. So many people use shea butter, coco butter with coconut butter and sweet almond oil & preservative arrowroot in theirs. I’m very interested in beginning this body butter venture and starting my own small business this year in 2023 🎉
Great video. One thing I have found that brings out all three colors better.. I make the colors that's I spread on the sheet to roll a lot skinnier. I make it thicker but a lot closer and skinny. Then when you roll it you get all three colors in the first roll. And I promise you all the colors are popping together. You are so good at showing everyone step for step.
Thank you for sharing this informative and helpful tutorial. I have been wanting to learn how to make a good quality body butter to help scale my small business.
@ReneeBarnettTV Will this melt? Beginner here so sorry if it's a stupid question. I've just been reading some will melt so how to you make them to where they wont???
I have not had a problem with body butters melting, but it really depends on the climate, although i have traveled with them and still haven’t had a problem. It also depends on the exact butter u use, meaning is it on the softer or harder side. Basically to avoid melting issues that could occur it would need to be and emulsified body butter. ☺️
I haven't used this particular recipe but used butters/oils very similar. I've noticed there have been times when the finished product is fluffy/firm then a couple times when it settled it ended up being loose/runny. I was thinking maybe I used too much mica powder for it to end up being "runny" but can't find anything online to corroborate this. Has this happened to anyone else? If so was it due to using too much mica or something else. Thanks in advance for any feedback.
I know you posted this comment like 2 months ago lol but yes you definitely can! To both of these questions. You just wanna make sure that you have a good ratio of butter to oil because if you have too much oil you'll lower the melt point of the butter. Which can be an issue if you plan to ship

Can i do it with shea butter?
Yes you can use Shea Butter
Can you do a video on micah?
Can you also add fragrance to this body butter?
yes you can add a fragrance oil.
Can you please put a link to the paper you used for the press and seal?
Hello thank you for sharing, why you didn’t put the butters on the fridge?
I love your videos, Can I apply any fragance?
Yes you can certainly add your favorite fragrance 😊 Thanks for watching.
Beautiful
do you have to use a preservative with adding color?
How do I figure out how much of each ingredient I would like to add in my body butter?
Hi, we dont have arrowroot powder in my country, can i use cornstarch?
Hi...yes you can use cornstarch as a substitute.
The Micah powder doesn’t dye the skin? I want to make some for myself at home and that’s my main concern lol
If you use too much then yes. Minimal amounts won't

Probably too much oil. Also some oils perform differently in different temperatures
how long does the body butter last?
6 months
@@ReneeBarnettTV do you add some preservations or without it can last 6 month
What shelf life this body butter?
3 to 6 months due to the shelf life of grapeseed oil, depending on the storage conditions.
Any need for preservatives?
a preservative is not necessary
Where did you get the powder to change the color
❤❤❤❤
Nicely done, please send me one 😝
can I have skincare training with you ma’am 😫😭
What is the name of the color stuff u are using
Its called Mica 😊
So you don’t add fragrance oil?
Fragrance is optional
What if you add to much arrowroot powder?
what type of dye?
What type of dye..and how can i get them
Can I use shea butter instead of mango butter? Also can I use jojoba oil instead of grape seed oil?
I was thinking the same thing. I like shea butter

I'm working on a recipe that includes Shea and cocoa butter
How much of the vitamin e oil did u use. You didn’t say
In general i normally add in about 0.5 grams of vitamin e
We NEED to know the measurements for everything you used, please
Most people don’t share the measurements because they sell it and don’t want people to know their recipe
