I just ordered some mango butter two 2⃣ days ago. and alo Vera gel. the only oil that I have on hand is coconut oil. I also have arrow root. can't wait to make this and see how it turns out.
I absolutely loved watching this video as I’ve been looking for a recipe. That’s easy and simple and yours was perfect. Please make more of these videos😊
I was looking for an easy recipe and yours is the first one I clicked on! How long will this be shelf stable for? Oh- I also want to blend in Aloe butter as well- thank you!! 🤗💚🌷💜
Hi Dora! Thanks for watching. You can keep this at least 6 to 8 months as long no water gets into the container but since its for my personal use i never keep it that long. I use it up rather quickly ☺️
I love this recipe❤, just a question…does it get hard in the winter? I have made other butters (they used shea butter too) and even if I leave them soft, they end up getting hard!!!
All the products she used except avocado are non comedogenic and won't clog pores soaks into the skin without the greasiness. You can swap out avocado for castor oil, sweet almond oil , grapeseed oil or sunflower seed oil. All non comedogenic oils.
Hi I love your Chanel it is very informative. I tried this tonight and my mango butter had very fine lumps in whe I had whipped it up. I used a mixer not a hand one. I eventually turned it into rather a nice sugar scrub. Could you tell me what I did wrong please.
Hi! Its possible that it wasn’t whipped long enough, thats the only think i can think of. You really do have to whip it until it looks and feels almost like whipped cream or cake batter. And thanks for watching. 😊
Excellent video! Does the butter get a bit more firm in a few hours or the next day? Mine always seems to get a bit more firm the next day than when I first whipped it. Thanks!
I like that this recipe doesn't need to be melted, but I was wondering why do others melt it? Is it faster, easier? Beneficial? I'm so curious as I'm starting with the idea of selling body butters.
You only need to melt butters that are harder as this makes the whipping process easier. Mango butter is a very soft butter making it easy to whip if you don’t want to go through the extra step of melting it down. Its really a personal preference.
You can definitely use this butter on your hair! I’ve used it on mine many times and it’s very moisturizing. Just keep in mind that a little goes a long way.
Hi! I normally only add a preservative when i use water or other ingredients that contain water in my butters. Otherwise you don’t really need one if you’re making the product for yourself as long as its kept in a dry moisture free place. 😊
After the process did your body butter become hard? Not very hard though, but did it loose its whipped cream soft and airy consistency to a comparitively hard one...????
Hi there! I tried this method but found it was a little grainy after whipping for over 30 mins. Any tips on how to remove the grit! It was still soft and whipped but I could feel it when rubbing it on my skin. Thanks
So I’ll whip the butter for 20 minutes, but in a few hours it’ll solidify into a balm, anyone know how to keep the butter from solidifying into a balm?? Or is that supposed to happen? Thank you!
Hi! No you do not need a preservative for body butters that only contain oils and butters. If you were to make this butter using water or other products that contain water or if the product will come in contact with water, then you would need a preservative 🤓
Hi! Check the description box the recipe is there. If you want a more stiff body butter add less oil, if you want it more loose add more oil. You can tailor it to your needs ☺️
Hi love, I have a question if I made this at home would it be necessary to add beeswax? I like the whipped looked however I don’t want it to liquify while it’s store not do I want a SUPPPER oily texture. I want more of an thick buttery Lotion texture. Would beeswax pellets help?
Hi! You don’t need to add beeswax i haven’t had any problems with it liquifying at room temperature. Also if you want a less oily feel you can add arrowroot powder to the recipe ☺️
You can definitely use grapeseed oil. I know castor oil has humectant like property’s which could draw moisture to the skin so it could possibly work. Let me know if you try those two combinations together. 😊 thanks for watching!

Can you use this on your face
I’m glad you said it takes time like 30 minutes otherwise I would grow impatient and think I’m doing something wrong.
I did this yesterday omg the way the butter blends on your skin 😍 the only thing is i didnt add is the mango fragrance oil but its okay.
I love your recipe thank you!!! Pure mango butter no shea butter, just what I was looking for. Most mix it with shea butter.
Love this without heating the oils

Place ziplock in a tall glass. Makes it easier to put the the cream, ice in bag. Cut the corner smaller. No need for frosting piping tip.
You have a fabulous speaking voice for this type of video! Thanks for the recipe!
Thank you and thanks for watching!
I absolutely loved watching this video as I’ve been looking for a recipe. That’s easy and simple and yours was perfect. Please make more of these videos😊
So simple. No need for double boiler. Thanks for sharing!
I also use mica powder to give it the orange color
Lovely recipe and comments with feedback. Thanks for sharing. I'm going to try this.

Thank you for the video! I was trying to find a recipe that didn't add shea butter (slightly allergic) or coconut oil. I can't wait to try this out!
You are so welcome! I'm glad you found it!
I love it 😍🥰👍.thank u God for not using mica .

Thank you for this video very informative. . New subscriber here. Going to try this.
Awesome! Thank you for watching!
loved this video! just curious if I wanted to add colour instead of it just being white what would you suggest?
Use mica powder
I'll be trying this recipe when I get home!
can't wait to try it!!! Can we substitute anytime of body butter along with oils, and fragrances? Thank you for sharing!
Yes you can substitute 😊
This looks easy to make! Great video
Dennis C Barnett thanks for watching its super easy!!!

Yes u can
Perfect thank you for your response.
Please will it brighten and glow the skin or give it a bit of toning
Your skin will be glowing for sure! I love this butter 😁
Thank you for the video. Does it feel greasy or does it soak into the skin quickly ?
All the products she used except avocado are non comedogenic and won't clog pores soaks into the skin without the greasiness. You can swap out avocado for castor oil, sweet almond oil , grapeseed oil or sunflower seed oil. All non comedogenic oils.
Is the avocado oil non pore clogging as well?
It's is not known to clog the pores. Thanks for your question.
Sorry, bro, can we add other active ingredients such as niacinamde alpa arbutin?
I also ordered fruit flavor oils.
Wow nice I love this
This was the best 👌
Would try this
Thank you for the information 💝
OMG perfect thanks
Thank you 💖💗💓💗💖💓💓💖Where did you get the jars from???
Thank you for watching. There is a link to the Jars in the description box ☺️
Do you have a list of non comedogenic oils and butters?
Hi you can find a link to a list of skincare ingredients in the description box ☺️
Hi, If our mango butter is too hard, can we soften it in the microwave oven while keeping its properties ?
I would not use the microwave
Microwave is radiation not good.
How do you use this ? Like apply on skin like lotion? Can you put it on your face ?
Thank youb
Use like lotion. I use on my body only as its a little to thick for me to use as a face cream.
How long when making fluffy body scrub? Do I allow the oil to call in the fridge?

@@ReneeBarnettTV Thanks 😊 will try it again
Maybe melting and blending while it's cooling off will help?
Where do you purchase your mango essential oil?
There is a link in the description box 😊
Excellent video! Does the butter get a bit more firm in a few hours or the next day? Mine always seems to get a bit more firm the next day than when I first whipped it. Thanks!
The next day it will be a little more firm but not hard and it will still melt on contact with the skin 😁
Thank you:-)!
@@ReneeBarnettTV mine solidified into a balm after I had it fluffy like yours, any way to keep it butter like instead of solidified?
try adding more oil and less butter, that should help

Hello! I followed recipe and the next day it hardened...I wanted it to keep the whipped texture.. does your harden? if not, how can I keep it soft?
Exactly mines did as well
Thanks
You're Welcome.
Thank you for sharing.
My pleasure!
Love this💕💕
I love your channel ❤️
Hi! Thank you for watching ☺️
Can i use this with my underarm???
does this harden?? i have seen body butters that are melted and will harden at really cold temp.
Hi! What is the shelf life for this product? And you can add any essential oil to this?
Hi...it will last 6 to 8 month if you keep it away from moisture, but I normally use mine up way before then. ☺
@@ReneeBarnettTV great! And you can add preservatives and any essential oils if you like correct?
@@ladyofmoodeng yes you can ☺️
@@ReneeBarnettTV name the preservatives and quantity please thank in advance
Can you sub almond oil for avocado oil
Yes
Hello, does this butter not become grainy after some weeks?
Can I whip it with a whisk if I don't have the whipping machine??
Beautiful
What preservative do you recommend
Hi Zawi! If you want to use a preservative i like using optiphen. 😊 thanks for watching.
Why don’t you just spoon it in the jar, you would not lose as much product?
I guess it’s just preference..
My hands to dry out after using, what can I doe to make the moisture last longer after using.
Fantastic video
Thank you for watching! ☺️
Thank you
What can we add to it so it doesn't melt
Great video Thxs
Glad you enjoyed it

Hi yes it will become a little more firm but not that much and it pretty much melts on contact with the skin.
I think its better to double boik everything just to make sure ?
Hi there! I tried this method but found it was a little grainy after whipping for over 30 mins. Any tips on how to remove the grit! It was still soft and whipped but I could feel it when rubbing it on my skin. Thanks
Melt the butter/oils instead of mashing them using the double boiler method and then cool down in the freezer for 15 - 30 minutes then whip.
@@chazhud thank youuuuu
For people without mixer can dey use whisk
Yes you can try using a whisk
How do you keep it from melting when you're trying to sell it and ship it?
You would either have to pack it with ice packs or make an emulsified body butter.
Is this greasy?
you can add arrowroot powder to cut down on the oiliness of the body butter
How many drops does it take to smell like mango?
Recipe is in the description box
@@zionthearkofthecovenantmin5414 I read the description it didn't say how much fragrance oil you used or any percentage. Its okay thanks for replying.
Can I use this as a beard balm?
Yes
Do we not need to add vitamin e?
How long will it last?
Are you from the Caribbean... Jamaica?
No....i wish ☺️
Do I need to pipe it? Or it scooping it in a bad idea?
Either way will work. 🙂
Hi Can I use almond oil instead as for now I don’t have olive oil ?
Yes
this recipe is quite grainy…. is there any way to fix that?
I haven’t had that issue but you can melt the butter before whipping it, its an extra step but that could help
Does the oils ever separate?
Isn’t this butter gonna be greasy without some arrowroot powder ?
what brand is mango butter
How long is the shelf life for this ?
So I’ll whip the butter for 20 minutes, but in a few hours it’ll solidify into a balm, anyone know how to keep the butter from solidifying into a balm?? Or is that supposed to happen? Thank you!
Mango butter solidifies unless mixed with other butter and a lot of oil. That’s normally why whipped butter is done with Shea butter.
Do you need an antibacterial agent for this product?
Hi! No you do not need a preservative for body butters that only contain oils and butters. If you were to make this butter using water or other products that contain water or if the product will come in contact with water, then you would need a preservative 🤓
@@ReneeBarnettTV so how long can that last without preservative
How much oil is added? Are those tablespoons?
Hi! Check the description box the recipe is there. If you want a more stiff body butter add less oil, if you want it more loose add more oil. You can tailor it to your needs ☺️
Is refined or unrefined mango butter?
It’s unrefined mango butter 😊
@@ReneeBarnettTV OK, Thanks.
Do you have to refrigerate the butter after you're done?
No you don’t

how many drops of Mango oil?
I added about 1% of the total weight of my product.
