- All compact pistols are not created equal. The Steyr C9-A1 has combined traditional design elements, new ideas, and Austrian high quality for one fantastic compact carry pistol. Sometimes ideas from faraway places cause me to say, “Why didn’t I think of that?”
This pistol combines the best of Glock with that of CZ. What do you get when you combine ideas from these two pistol icons and throw in something new? Follow me in my review of the Steyr today to find out. - Розваги
Steyr has had their A2 series out for a few years.
C9a1, Glock 17 gen 2. This man is late to the party lol.
Thank you Wilhelm Bubits. The origin of the design.
I wish they'd optic ready some of these
great review
This guy's a good shot
Very sharp gun gonna grab the new one
Something else.
Czp10c or the czp10s
They are the one I recommend.
Trapezoidal sights look like they might be good for fast acquisition and straight shooting... but I have trouble imagining how you could really adjust for windage and other conditions. It's fairly easy with most common iron sights (to move the front sight a certain amount up, down left or right)... but seems like it would be hard to do that with these. The rear sight actually obstructs the rear sight to a point if you have to aim higher. Than if you aim higher, the edges of the front sight will be obstructed by the rear sight, which would make having to aim right or left more difficult.
I know this is the C9, but if you watch Honest Outlaws review of the L9 he is hitting long distance shots just fine.
I honestly don't understand the argument, you clearly explained yourself how you would adjust them. If you'd ever picked one up you would understand, it works just the same as original sights or saybu notch rear sights with a front dot.
@@YouraTowel4 ...but how do you adjust them when they're off? (especially when they're high or low). When you lift the front sight, the rear sight (blade) will obstruct the front sight and the sides of the front sight that you would normally use to aim with regular sights...
...and when you lower the front sight, the front sight will still be obstructed, but lower down with only the point showing (not like a regular sight where the FLAT TOP is used)... and also, the gaps at the sides of the sights grows to the point where you can't use them for precise aiming either.
It's like they'll only work if they're perfectly on and you're not having to aim in the wind or having to adjust your aim vertically for any reason (like shooting longer ranges or accounting for bullet drop or if a particular round just happens to have a higher POI than other rounds).
@deucedeuce1572 again i feel like you answered your own question. And maybe, just hear me out, like any other gun you would adjust the sights? And if the guns poi and poa are that far off then something is probably wrong and should be fixed.
@@deucedeuce1572 but if you actually go pick one up and look at the sight picture, there is plenty of room between the rear sights to move around the front sight in the sight picture
Is there a reason y’all are advertising a discontinued product when the gen 2 exists?
Does the triangle sit at 6 to the target or center hold?
I've found that the tip of the target at 7 yards is hitting due center for me.
A long shot at 15 yards. 😂😂 I sight in at 15 yards.
Wow, Steyr hasn't updated this in a hot decade...
The gun is over 20 years old, if you count the original M9. Grip is slightly different and useless proprietary rail. Same sights.
Well, unless you absolutely insist on an optical sight, I'd say this doesn't really need any updating. It's "MO' Bettah Purfection" than Glock. Watch reviews from good people like "Honest Outlaw".
That trigger looks way worse than a oem glock trigger
I'd say it's up there with one of the better striker fired triggers. Or at least the A2. On par with VP9, P99 and PDP, imo.
@@BelialsGenuflect really? I’ve never handled one but it looks terrible in the video
@jackripper6033 it has an average reset length though not at all tactile so it's something to get used to but I have a few thousand rounds through my A2 and I love it. Was my OTW EDC around the shop for a year.
