Upon pick up 3 years ago, I headed immediately to the range. 414 rounds later that session... Zero malfuntions. Has been my everyday carry since. Great gun. Great vid.
Have the L9 model and has been very solid. Im glad im not the only one who thought the trigger was like a 1911 straight back pull :). I think the angular slide design you mentioned is to help guide the eye to the sights (love the trapezoids), as I personally find this sight picture the quickest acquisition over standard three dot. Great review!
It is not designed to semi rack it like this. If you let it forward freely, as it supposed to, with a round in a chamber, even without but in full speed, it won’t do that. I had the same question. Not an issue. Mine works flawlessly. I have four of them, I love them.

Mines been great, solid shooter, sights took a few to get used to. But very happy w purchase
Good to hear, did you run into any issues with the slide catching and staying out of battery?
@Conklikov none. Has been a solid, smooth shooter. The grip angle was different than I was used to , but really like it now.
always wanted a Steyr but my local shops don't carry them and I guess I could have bought online but just didn't ...
That’s what made me go for it, is seeing in store and getting it in my hand
Atlantic firearms recently had them for like $350, probably still do.
That’s a good deal
That’s a steal. Think I paid $600 or so for mine pandemic time.
Paid $300 for mine from the website of Miami dealer.
I bought one...waiting for my license renewal...traded my PT 809 in
Probably a pretty good upgrade for you.

Ya I have found this out as well recently as I got more ammo through it
The same gun they’ve been making for 30 years.
