Very good review, again!! What sharpness level did you set in the cameras? I always feel that medium setting is a bit to much but low is to soft without adding sharpness in post.
I'm glad I still have my 10, it suits me fine. In some scenes (while in the HDR mode), the sharpness, contrast, brightness, etc., seems a little better on the 12. Also, there seemed to be slight bending, I suppose being a little wider than the other two even in linear mode. But, as far as sharpness, contrast and colour for the 10 and 11, I think that could be easily improved 'in post' in Final Cut, if pushed just slightly, so as not to distort. Honestly, between Go Pro, DJI and any other company, I think the first to introduce a one-inch sensor will score big points with consumers. In the meantime, it just seems as though these companies make slight pre-adjustments with each new version. But if Go Pro 13 has a 1-inch sensor, I'll be first in line to buy it!
I’m watching on an iPad and from what I can see the stabilisation is almost none existent, the sound quality is ok, but certainly not the best, the daytime video is very clear and the night time was quite good also. I would say that for a cheap action cam or a temp holiday camera. Then it’s worth buying. But those wanting a more of a pro stabilised cam, then I’d still go with either the Go pro or DJI.

🤷♂️ maybe not many people were using the gps features
@@RedskullPro This is true. But it makes no sense to remove a feature which, let's be honest, is very important for a "serious" action camera. Think about who will use it on a motorbike, on a hang glider, kart, etc... no more GPS overlay: no speedometer, no altitude detection, no route recording. It does not make sense. If I don't want to use GPS on my GoPro 5/6/7/8/9/10/11 I can just turn it off. I hope they will understand the stupid thing they did, and that the GPS will return to the 13. IMHO.
I am buying the GoPro 12
Nice!
What can I say, Hawkeye Firefly 8S wins again :D
And it wasn't $500 :D
