The fight scenes in the Kingsman movies, where choreographed by Bradley Allen, who sadly passed away recently. He was an Australian martial artist, who was discovered by Jackie Chan and became the first non-asian member of Jackie´s legendary stunt team.
He has appeared in tons of Jackie Chan movies, most famously he´s the guy that fights Jackie Chan in the movie "Gorgeous". Later he went to Hollywood, where he worked as stunt/fight coordinator on many blockbuster movies like Kick-Ass, the Kingsman movies and Shang Chi.
Unfortunately, he passed away couple of months ago. They actually did a dedication for him, in the credits for Shang Chi.
RIP Bradley Allen.
Dude, this guy actually did a reaction video to Jackie Chan vs Bradley Allen in Mr. Happy! I didn't know he passed away, that sucks!
Edit: Sorry, the movie is actually called Gorgeous. I don't know why I get making that mistake.
He's not actually the guy who fights Shang Chi on the bus, but he did serve as fight coordinator for Shang Chi. And thank God he did
@@ReachSaviour123 Oh shoot, you're right, that guy was actually the dude who played Ivan Drago's son in Creed II. Which was also choreographed by Brad Allen.
This is a bad omen for Kingsman 3...
@@rohrbrot4563 Kingsman 3 was the last movie he worked on, it was actually shot back in 2019, but it was delayed due to the Disney-Fox merger and the pandemic.
At 1:39 he actually does reload, right before you ask how many shots he has.
Also, I think the best part of this scene is the part where the explosion rings his ears, and he can't hear the signal from the phones anymore. He looks around and has a split-second to take in the carnage, realizing what he's doing before the ringing fades and he's back into the mayhem.
We love attention to detail.
Just after the behind the back shot... He was enjoying too much the behind the back shot to notice the very quick switch magazine
tt-33 tokarev. 8 per mag with a fictional under barrel 12 gauge shotgun.
I've watched this movie at least two dozen times and never once thought about that. That's amazing
When u said you wonder how many shots he has in his mag he reloaded once already u just didn't see it bro lol
I barely noticed it, it was damn smooth
Yeah at 1:39 mark, about. Slick reload 😁
Lol I was about to say this and of course someone else already noticed =) Cheers
I only noticed it when I went back to count the shots... Such a slick reload
He actually said how many clips in the magazine 🤣
What makes this scene so genuinely powerful though, is this is the hero failing. He’s not in control, and he’s hurting people he has no intention of hurting. It’s like saying “Watch the hero ace this test, but btw the better he does on this test the worse he will feel”
nah
@@EvilMAiq bro what
@@camdakill6007 It's a 1st-year college literature tier take. He's assigning deeper meaning to a situation than is warranted.
@@EvilMAiq bruh I didn’t really ask for all that
@@camdakill6007 then dont read it dummy
I always love at 4:07 Harry is unaffected due to the disorientation of the grenade and is horrified but the effects of the phones overtakes him again but you see the abject horror on his face as he realises what he's doing.
To quote CinemaWins, having Harry go against the church-goers is like "Unleashing the god of war" on them. They are so gloriously outmatched. It's beautiful
Literally one of the greatest fight scenes I have ever seen. I remember watching this for the first time with my Dad and we were absolutely GIDDY while watching it lol. We were like "holy shit look at that" or "jesus he did this" lol. And using Free Bird was just brilliant.
One of the greatest fight scenes and that soundtrack was prefect for it
Colin Firth was so good in this movie. Absolutely outside of the box compared to his usual character portrayals. Never would have picked him as an action star….
Funny that he mentioned kick ass. It's the same director Matthew Vaughn and the same the comic book author Mark Millar. That have made both Aick Ass and Kingsmen.
The interesting thing is that wasn't even the best scene. It was the part right after this that I thought was even better. The contrast it created between this kind of extreme, random violence and the personal and emotional violence specific to what happens was a masterclass.
Also the second movie's fight in the diner at the end is really fantastic. I still think you should react to the extended b-boy fight scene from raging phoenix. One of the more unique and hilarious fight scenes.
He reloaded at 1:39 ;) So fast, you didn't even notice.
Never seen this from start to finish but I love this scene. A master piece of action.
I absolutely love the look of horror Harry has once he snaps out of the trance it has so much character in it
One of THE best fight scenes ever ... very tongue in cheek with amazing music by lynyrd skynyrd .... perfection!
Just watching this now, I realized that the gun they were using was a modified TT-33 Tokarev firing the venerable and powerful 7.62x25 Tokarev and the TT-33 has 7+1 rounds to fire with and the gun does fire 8 rounds. That accuracy to details... Wow.
Samuel Jackson is in everything!
Samuel L Jackson
Yes, including 6 years old movies.
Max, here's an interesting recommendation, this is a old movie favourite of mine from 1955 and it's called BAD DAY AT BLACK ROCK, the scene is SPENSER TRACY V ERNEST BORGNINE in the diner. TRACY plays a one armed WW 2 vet using what looks like traditional karate, I know you will enjoy it. Take care buddy.
Oh man! This movie is based on a comic book series and this fight scene was incredible. A highlight in fight scene choreography while still looking high class
Another actor you would not expect to do action is Matt Damon in the Bourne Identity. The apartment fight scene is pretty good.
Much as I like the Bourne movies, the fight scenes are crap with all the shaky cam and horrible camera to action orientation. More of a what not to do in fight scenes.
@@nightshade7240 agree. But I still enjoyed them.
I don't know if you've seen the second movie, but that one has some awesome action scenes too.
A fun one for this series might be “Hanna Subway Fight Scene” (that’s what I always search to bring it up). Eric Bana in the movie “Hanna” takes down some bad guys in the subway. It has 1) pretty tight space 2) a guy who doesn’t look like much from the outside and 3) no/limited cuts. It’s a short fight but maybe most people haven’t seen it yet. :)
0:39 - 0:42 Dude!! How could you NOT remember this craziness!?
Do love your vids bro because of your positive mood. It’s just like watching a movie with a friend of mine with full pleasure. Keep on going!
This scene honestly needed a kill counter.
All of them but Harry. And then Harry
To quote MovieBob: this scene transformed Colin Firth from a 'classy actor doing action for a laugh, to a legit blood baptised action god in mere minutes'.
Haven’t even watched more than 40seconds but I wanted to say I appreciate hearing what a knowledgeable person has to say.
Thanks for reacting to this!! May you react to the “Hot Fuzz” final shootout? When you get a chance, that is. This fight in particular is AWESOME!!!
At the court trial, his defense would be: " But your honor, Free Bird was playing..."
Never noticed the middle of the screen thing, that's so cool! Good eye
"How may clips in that magazine?" That,.... that's a new one.
Haha yeah I misspoke and didn't realise until afterwards
A incredible fight scene. Which apparently was a combination of a stunt crew and extras trained for the scene and it took 7 days to shoot
Can you do some Warrior 2019 videos. That show has amazing fight scenes and quite frankly deserves more attention.
Perhaps one of my favorite scenes, and a video on my birthday too.
Yeeeaah! I love this whole movie series!
The original John Wick.
Another thing i noticed, the scene is 4 and a half minutes long , which is the length of the Free Bird solo.
I love all the hidden cuts they have you don't notice
To this day, the most perfect, smoothest looking reload of a pistol I've ever seen in a movie (and it even was insanely fast).
Thoughts?
(John wick had a few fun ones too)
Could you do Scott Adkins vs Kane Kosugi from Ninja Shadow of a Tear
YAAAAAAASSSSSS
Yeeeeeahhhh my favorite scene. 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
The same guy directed Kick Ass, Matthew Vaughn. He also did X-Men: First Class. Kingsman is my favourite though. Have you checked the fights in Casino Royale?
he did at least one reload during that rampage.
Turns out you can use 'shaky cam' to enhance a scene without making it impossible to tell what's going on.
what a bloody ruthlessness
He reloaded just before your first pause around 1:40 or so.
Yeah, even after dozens of watches, that neck snap fucking hurts me internally. I have a naturally long neck, so that's like watching Faces of Death for me.
The church battle Royale scene is the most popular scene in the Kingsman franchise
man you have GOT to react to banshee, im not sure if you have or if youll even see this comment but the fights in banshee are INSANE and the show itself is just reallyyy good
Banshee is so underrated. I love that show!
He pulled a rapid reload directly after he does the throw. You see him flick his wrist launching the mag and then quickly sliding the new mag in.
I also wondered “ how many clips were in his magazine”.
Man u have to do the par fight scene in season 2 of the punisher. U will not be disappointed
Completely forgot about the guy who gets SLAMMED into the Podium. Ragdoll his ass.
"I wonder how many clips in that magazine?"
Twelve in the first, ten in the last. No idea why the first has more, maybe he switches mags so the first always has more?
I just saw that movie just once when it came out. And this is pretty much the only scene i remember.
And Samuel L. Jackson.
I'm pretty sure Bradley Allen was the stunt coordinator for all the Kingsmen movies. Including the one to come out later this year.
Funny that you mention Kick-Ass since both Kick-Ass & Kingsman were comics written by Mark Millar (among others). Yeah that was a brutal fight scene and entertaining
"I wonder how many clips in that magazine..."
Me: what!? I dont think clips go into a magazine. Rounds go into a magazine, rounds go into a clip. Clips go into usually old school guns, like the mosin nagant. Magazines go into modern guns.
Thanks, i thought i was the only one noticing it, it was driving my old servicemans mind crazy 🤣😂
old school
It’s hard to see but at 1:38 he does the cleanest and nicest mag swap of all time
How does he NOT remember this scene?!?!?
Murdering the innocents, oh, how cool, oh, how extraordinarily adept are his killing skills.
Have you done the Bourne v Desh fight from The Bourne Ultimatum? It’s highly edited but you still see & follow bit of the action. I think it’s short, 3-4 minutes long. It’s 100x better than the house fight scene from Supremacy which is a hot mess.
This Scene is f**** Mindblowing 🤯🤯🤯🤯😱😱😱
Thats the best fight scene in kingsmen
You should give the bar fight from the Scott Adkins film 'Avengement' a look.
"James Bond homage"
More like James Bond on cocaine lol
These movies are so great
You need to react to Kick-Ass one day!
such a good movie overall. i hope they do some more of them. imagine colin firth being an action start lol
Black Dynamite vs Fiendish Dr. Wu
funny he mentioned kickass as both movies are based on comics written by the same guy: Marc Millar
best movie fight ever
you missed the part where he's turned to the camera and he dumps the clip, slides another one in, racks. was really clean honestly, so I don't blame you.
"How many clips in that magazine?"....you lost me right there....
If you love James Bond movies, you have to do the ending fight scene of Goldeneye. Best fight in the franchise.
“I wonder how many clips are in that magazine”, hmm 🤔
Yeah I realised what I said afterwards haha! But i don't do reshoots so just rolled with it
i hadn't never counted the bullets until this vid and i'm sure his mag has 11 clip
You missed his reload a few seconds in, he fired a very realistic number of rounds, and he has some armour under the suit I believe, high tech shiznitz
Yeah John Wick style suit armour I think.
Armoured suit, stab and cut proof and I believe if I remember correctly it can stop a .44 calibre. I think somewhere in the lore or the movies it talks about how the material of the suit bunches around the knife blade to stop it's penetration and make it harder to then remove.
Cool Dragon Ball shirt! :)
5:12 YES you DO!!
Have you ever seen the TV show arrow the show has lots of great actions and fight scenes throughout I think you would really enjoy some of the fight scenes from early season 7 season 7 episode 7 in particular has a lot of great action it's mostly contained to some prison riots and also features Vinnie Jones Cody Rhodes the wrestler and Michael White
Is there another section of your reaction? The first part is only 6 minutes long.
"I wonder how many clips in that magazine."
Zero. There are zero clips in that magazine.
how many rounds in the clip
"I wonder how many clips in a magazine" I think you mean how many bullets. A clip also holds bullets. And before anyone says anything, when I say bullets, I mean cartridges. I use the term bullets because most people associate the word bullet with the cartridge.
How about some Jeff Speakman, Perfect Weapon gym fight. Some old school '80s Kenpo Karate.
Lol, you said how many _clips_ are in that magazine, not bullets ^_^
Well, Kick Ass and this was a comic written by the same guy.
I think it's possible you might have watched the second movie.
How the fawk did my parents let me watch this shit when I was 9yrs old😂
you know you now have to do the bar fight with colin firth vs the thugs.
You should take a look at the Sherlock Holmes (Robert Downey Jr) fight scenes, they are somewhat short, but pretty cool.
You need to watch the hunt the fight scene in the end
Should react to Korean shows like The extreme job, the confidential assignment or the fiery priest or the k2
The raid 1 and 2
Bro you have to watch Shang chi bus fight scene it’s mind blowing❤️
Funny that you would compare it with Kick-Ass, both movies are based on comics by Mark Millar
I think that you don't remember this scene precisely because many countries had it edited out.
I heard this was shot in one take.
How about a fight scene from the series Banshee. season three episode 3.
2:58 press pause and look at the guy that Harry stabbed at... his jaw gave out after mewing for what... 10 minutes
He changed guns like 3 times
