I think Alexander being used twice is fine. Alexander's moveset was expanded, and Radahn is a fight that's meant to be fought with all the summons, so having to memorize every Alexander sign location is impractical.
I mean I’ve always thought the jars were to some extent composite souls of the many individuals whose meat they contain, so Alexander stuffing himself full of a bunch of new warriors from the Radahn arena would literally make him a new entity
I would say any in-arena summon that can be used more than once is still one summon tbh. The way the fight is engineered now summons are the alternative way to beat him, meaning the intended summons for the fight are anything you can scrape off the battlefield
Marionettes are massively underestimated, they are incredibly useful against slower bosses or ones with less poise and tbh have worked better for me than latenna has.
In giant arenas against foes like Rennala, Astel, or the Ancestor Spirit, they do awesome work if you can keep the heat off of them. Sadly, in the overworld they've got minds of glue and just wander about aimlessly while you run off and actually fight foes 🤣🤣
They are great against Fias Champions because it causes thrm to roll all the time and will hardly ever attack. You can just take them out. I really funny to watch.

Kinda happy you didn’t just use tiche for elden beast, she is so absurdly strong… even as a single unit ash she can easily solo both radagon and elden beast with minimum heals
BIG respect for using the Mausoleum Knights. They are the most slept on Multi-Unit summon in the game by far imo and some people on UA-cam and Reddit spread the common misconception that they were worse than Greatshield Soldier Ashes. Probably messed up a lot of people's playthroughs lol
Great video, I would never have the patience for such a run but it was incredibly entertaining to watch. I only try the simple challenge runs that don't look like they'd make me tear my hair out. Also Kristoff being a B-tier summon is some of the most egregious slander I've ever heard he's basically just an all around better Lhutel with the only downside in comparison being the lack of an instant teleport (more HP, more base melee damage, long range spam-able thunderbolt attack that also buffs his spear with lightning, etc) XD
Granted, I didn't test Kristoff that much but pure power wasn't the only metric used for ranking. Other people have said rollo should be way higher but the issue is he's nearly impossible to obtain without trading an equally strong summon. Iirc Kristoff is in Altus inside a heroes grave while Lhutel you can get at level 1 with basically any summon
@@CytoK Yeah you're right about where to get him, Kristoff is the end reward for the Sainted Hero's Grave (the end boss being an Ancient Hero of Zamor). While I'd still generally rate Kristoff over Lhutel ease of access is important so that's fair enough.
WELL IF I ONLY COULD FUCKING FIND THE ALBINAURIC WOMAN THAT HIDES IN A CAVE TO THE WEST OF THE LASKYAR RUINS, WHICH JUT FROM THE MIST-SHROUDED LAKE OF LIURNIA. WHO KNOWS THE LOCATION OF THE MEDALION'S COUNTERPART, I'M SURE... I would use that Spirit Ash.
I wonder if you could've used shabiris woe during the Malenia fight. Granted you would've had to do alot of the leg work but it maybe could've given your ashes a chance to do damage while the boss focused you
It’s not luck when you are grabbed have something damage the boss and the grade will ether do no damage or reduced damage this works in ds3 as well but not many people know it.
Nice run in general, but i have to wonder why you skipped Astel and getting Tiche, which may have been one of the only summons that could theoretically solo Malenia outside of Mimic
i think that the alexander thing was completly justified as you can summon people as many times as you want at the festival, so even if you summoned him it was like adding 1 to an infinite amount, so it didnt matter at all

I do a lot of work and playing games listening to UA-cam. These type of videos are my favorite. Great work man!
Thank you 🙏
very great run. you really got some remarkable patience
This is a really fun video! I'm glad challenge runs are starting to figure out how to make interesting content around the summons system, since while it *can* be used to steamroll the game's difficulty, there's a lot of really interesting strategy and build variety around them.
Thanks! I agree, summons have a ton of variety and personality. I really hope more are added in DLC
I subbed after the first minute, great idea for a run and nice concise, funny narration. Very Good!
Alex the Jar Man with a plan hurts my heart every time. Rip, you honorable frickin pot.
Great video! I hope you make some more Elden Ring challenge videos, really like your editing and narration. :)
half way through watching this i realized you only had 810 subsribers and i was confused because your content is as good as people with thousands of subscribers who also playh elden ring
this video and your bow playthrough have cracked me up so much that now I can't wait for the next video
I thought for sure you were gonna cite Theseus' Ship when you said the question of Alexander was a philosophical one. Still got a laugh and a like from me, great video!
Incredible video with a ton of thoughtfulness. Looking forward to the next new content!
These comments are so cool to read, Thank you!
Ayo this is actually kinda high quality, keep going man!
Hey brother, absolutely wonderful video :). You have got a new sub and i can’t wait for you to get big! Good luck with your future work
Such a nice comment. Thank you!
I glad to say I’m part of your subscribers great vid man💯
Thank you 🙏
Incredible. Thank you for putting all those good Bois and Gals to good use and caring for them.
I think this video was great and I love small time creators that do things like this regardless of what people think, so you just got a new subcriber!
Considering the quality of your content already, I can see this channel going far with further improvement. Will definitely wait on the next one ^^
Means a lot, thanks!
your voice, sense of humor, and pacing in this video combine to make my favorite Elden Ring challenge run I’ve seen. make more stuff, please!
That means a lot, thank you.
I will certainly try my best!
I never actually comment on videos but this one is an exception. Fantastic job dude, this is great
Thanks so much man
You mentioned the Metallic Fruit, thus I am now subscribed. Well played sir.
awesome video! would love to see more challenges like this!
Kinda happy you didn’t just use tiche for elden beast, she is so absurdly strong… even as a single unit ash she can easily solo both radagon and elden beast with minimum heals
Excellent video! Super entertaining and engaging. Props for the dedication on this run :D
Run took way too long but I'm super happy people are enjoying it
@@CytoK you deserve the support! 👑
Greatshields are definitely good but idk Masoleums are a different breed. My fav summon for sure.
They are a lot harder to get tho
This video was fucking amazing and had me at the edge of my seat for some reason. Keep up the good work
LMAO the bingo club, this dude is a genius.
Honestly I would’ve just refrained from using Alexander in the Radahn fight entirely💀
They already give you plenty of supports anyways tbh
Yeah I guess it's true that I didn't even have to use him lol
THANK YOU FOR RECOGNIZING HOW GODLY LATENNA IS!!! Everyone sleeps on her and it's damn tragic
Goated summon
WELL IF I ONLY COULD FUCKING FIND THE ALBINAURIC WOMAN THAT HIDES IN A CAVE TO THE WEST OF THE LASKYAR RUINS, WHICH JUT FROM THE MIST-SHROUDED LAKE OF LIURNIA. WHO KNOWS THE LOCATION OF THE MEDALION'S COUNTERPART, I'M SURE... I would use that Spirit Ash.
Latenna is not good. She sits and gets trucks in face.
@@letwolf Latenna is not good if you are not good. Literally nothing else to say here
@@rawbii You funny. If I'm good, then no need for latenna at all.
I thought I was watching a big UA-camr since the vid is so well made your seriously underrated 😭
Very encouraging to read, thanks!
I wonder if you could've used shabiris woe during the Malenia fight. Granted you would've had to do alot of the leg work but it maybe could've given your ashes a chance to do damage while the boss focused you
Definitely something I should've tested
2 month old comment buuuut Shabriris woe only works for online play and does not affect anything with spirit summons.
On Thop’s barrier: Thop’s is pretty open about not being a very good magician, not sure what you expected
lmao this is very true
obligatory “i never comment” but this was just such a cool idea, absolutely loved the video! hope more people get to see it, amazing content!
You should consider commenting more! These kinds of comment really help me stay motivated. Thanks!
It’s not luck when you are grabbed have something damage the boss and the grade will ether do no damage or reduced damage this works in ds3 as well but not many people know it.
"to do Northernlions questline" took me off guard :D
Nice run in general, but i have to wonder why you skipped Astel and getting Tiche, which may have been one of the only summons that could theoretically solo Malenia outside of Mimic
I think it’s because they’d need to beat Alecto, and you can’t summon against Alecto
@@vwts youre right. Evergaols arent possible in pacifist runs
It’s also too bad that he had to use Latenna for Fire Giant because she can also solo Malenia
@@bigminion7617 wait Malenia ignores Latenna? Interesting
@@vwts It’s Always Snuny has a good video on it
“Then the fire giant fell… ontop of Alexander and we lost” lmaoooo
here from oboe
I’ve hardly even watched an ER vid for months but this was really interesting
OBOE SHOES RAID PARTY
sheeeit
i think that the alexander thing was completly justified as you can summon people as many times as you want at the festival, so even if you summoned him it was like adding 1 to an infinite amount, so it didnt matter at all
True, someone else also mentioned that you don't need to summon him at all so we gucci
oboe moment
Aw c'mon my girl Therolina is NOT useless tier, she carried me through revenant alley in the Haligtree and uh.. gave great moral support against Mohg?
Great video! Makes me wish I used the summons more often. The 2v2 with Dolores and Bernahl against the Godskins is such a cool idea.
I love these comments so much! I didn't even consider using her against the revenants, great idea. I think she could be a good summon but her AI was super wonky for me.
Thanks! The idea popped into my head randomly and I knew I had to go for it.
Great video a lot of dedication and hard work went into it. You could also do a RANDOMIZER play-through similar like i did on my channel.
Thanks man. Left a comment on your vid. Best of luck!
