Greetings this job does not required air box removal or fan clutch with shroud. Great video throughout. The bostech WP03302 is the best water pump for the cummins 6.7l, bulletproof design. I just installed on my 2012 yesterday 09/15/2024. Fins made of solid metal and none of that plastic harden material.
I agree! But it sure gives you a lot more room :). I was doing serpentine and a couple other things while I was in there so it made it a lot easier without the fan in there.
@@steveDIY last time I replaced pump, tensioner and belt only removing the air box I believe. This wknd I have to replace the pump again ( only lasted 15k miles) I'm gonna try without removing air box. I'll give an update if you want.
@@steveDIY Bro I replaced the pump, tensioner and belt by just removing the air box. It was painful to watch you do all this work just to replace these items
@@megasmoothone should make a tutorial. I thought it was way easier with that fan removed for the water pump. So much more room. And the fan isn’t that big of a pain to get off. There’s Multiple ways to do it.
bro you shouldnt edit out the hard stuff , you dont really help anyone by doing that , and anyone who would give you crap online for doing it wrong has to much time on ther hands , you edited out everything i needed help with ,
I like to pull out the transmission when I do a 6.7 cummins water pump.

Never had to remove fan on my 2010. Can't imagine the 2012 being any different?
I was in there doing the water pump, tensioner pulley and belt, just was easier having it out for all of it

Great video good job man
thanks for the info you did show
2008 3500 with 115,000 miles on the original pump. Would you change out the pump even with no adverse symptoms?
Remove the air box and air cleaner don’t need to remove the fan took me 40 minutes to replace mine
I agree just for the belt you don’t have to remove the fan, but I was doing the water pump at the same time which needs the fan removed :)
