Speaking of Red Dead 2 & the Gang hideout I did hear a little girls will I want to see a little girl's voice but she was 19 years old and I know she said something about love or something but it was a spirit in that scared the living crap out of me when I first heard of it when I returned but I did not see any gang spirits. And not only that but you know the one thing I will want more in campaign and online is basically a musket for hunting rifle as a hunting rifle that's the one thing I would use it for hey if GTA V can get a musket I'm pretty sure Red Dead Can too
Speaking about spirits and ghosts invoices about that if you go to the Civil War battlefield you can actually hear the Civil War man screaming and you can actually hear cannons firing it's horrifying I tell you that and I know there's like maybe two or three Civil War battlefields I think there is but at least it takes like a couple of hours for you to hear it it's really rare and I know I heard it in Red Dead and that scared the living s*** out of me because you can actually hear muskets firing cannons and people strangling each other and yelling charging as well too and swords cuz we all know that generals had swords in the Civil War
@AdamWayneone yes indeed it was especially the Civil War one down was actually horrifying it was really cool but horrifying especially when you're here must get swords and cannons firing it was around at least nighttime sometimes I will happen in a daytime and just takes a couple of hours for it to happen though if so it might be really where to hear it

They're not ghost voices, John's just, mentally, reminiscing about his past. The voices are coming from the thoughts of his memories in his mind, they're not ghost voices, most of the voices you hear are of people who didn't even die so how could they be ghosts? Lol.

It's not necessarily ghosts that he's hearing but it's more like his memories whenever you reach an old gang hide out it's like he's jus going down memory lane. Rockstar dug deep with the symbolism in the game.

Nice little touch from rockstar. Was so devastated when Arthur dies! Especially the part where he comforts his dying horse. Got me right in the feels! When I’ve fully completed it I’m going to restart it and stay as Arthur on a separate save file. I prefer Arthur to John.

9:33, That whistle made me sad, because I'm pretty sure its Arthur whistling. Arthur Morgan was my favorite character. RDR 2 was the only game that made me cry, because it was such a great story. I have no clue to what Rockstar will do next, but I hope some day, they'll make another Red Dead game that comes after RDR 1. This game has been one big adventurous, gun slinging, and emotional ride that I enjoyed. I 100% recommend that anyone who hasn't played this game should buy it.
P.s. Anyone in 2021 or any other future timeline???

2022, just finished both games and restarted rdr2. Such an incredible story. I’d love to see another prequel. Maybe something that leads up to the whole blackwater mess. Would also love to not have my heart broken a third time

I'm on chapter 6 and the first camp feels so long ago. Same with the second one. Feels like a decade I was trying to get up a mountain and my level 4 bonded horse (Roosevelt was his name) falls killing me and him. Brave soul he was. I was fighting bountyhuntets and he ran randomly and ran over 2 of them.
I swear going back to these campsites again feel like Memorial sites for me it's so depressing Rockstar did a great job for us to connect with the players and have emotions for them

If you'll notice, specifically all the memory audio is all what John Marston cannonically would have been able to hear and remeber.. so it is indeed him just reminiscing over what he remembers from the camps.
I walked into a barn and I heard Arthur's voice say, "I never thought I'd be happy to see you John Marston" from when John saved him from being shot on a mission... you didn't cover that one... I'll have to play and get the exact location of the barn.

You might be thinking of the flashback of stuff that happened at Colter. The first flashback quote i ever heard while exploring these was there when walking by the barn and other broken houses/sheds. You hear John say “I never thought I’d be happy to see you, Arthur Morgan.” From when he saved him from the wolves. I heard a second quote come from that place from a female but it was too faint for me to make out

FIREWATER 1960 No, I just played the game too fast. 2nd time through I took my time and did the side missions, that’s when it felt nostalgic. That’s why I recommend taking your time in games like this. Playing it just to get to the end can ruin the game for you.
It made me so sad because I was so attached to Arthur in the end. When I was at one old hideout, wanting to feel a bit nostalgic, this happened and it wrecked me so hard I just quit the game and paced around the house aimlessly.

Sir Chank I was pretty sad when Arthur died as well. I feel he was really a good person, just caught up with the wrong crowd. When the horse died though, that was it.

I was so confused about it when I went to Clements Point and heard it! Thank you for this. This is so cool to know this is what is going on! It was so pretty to listen to and enjoy I ran around at first looking for someone singing lol but it was so awesome. So it definitely was not in order. It was just a random decision to go check out Clements. I love this game so much. They have put in so much into the game!

I went back just to reminisce and I heard them talking. Definitely an awesome Easter egg. Took selfies at each place and put them on Rockstar Social Club. Epic game and story with amazing characters.
First of all, I don't think those are literal voices and ghosts but John's inner voice of flashbacks and memories of the camp sites.
