SW should make a video series called "Nick's Picks" where he just highlights recent preferences for gear that he has been playing. I think it would help shed light on gear that may be overlooked otherwise. While these videos are a similar concept, I feel that they may be driven by what SW wants to highlight, rather than the great gear minded drummer that is Nick D'Virgillio.
It’s amazing because I have a DW collectors series drum set and I could not be happier. However, whenever I see Nick review anything I seriously consider my decision I could watch Nick showcase pillows and I would think I made the wrong choice. How is it possible to make the world? Sound absolutely unbelievable so I’ve come to the realization that I only like to watch The nick play and learn whatever I can. If I didn’t have the drums that I do, and I was actually trying to watch to figure out which kid I would want I would literally change my mind every day.
Hello Sweetwater, you guys listed every single item in the video, except the link to the snare drum. I believe Nick D'Virgilio mention it to be a SJC Custom Dudley Steel Snare 6.5" x 14. I, myself, just pulled it up manually, but for those who might want it to be a little more convenient for them or at their fingertips, so to speak. Just an F.Y.I. And as always, thanks for the excellent review on the gear. - DCG
Nick could make "trash can-type" drums sound good, to where you would actually take a moment, and consider purchasing it, haha! Great Kit, Great playing, and Great video as always!
@Sweetwater can you guys do reviews on marching drums and band related things it might be a lot to ask but it would really help people see other brands out here on the market you guys would really be helping people even if if it didn’t seem like. Like this post and help me get their attention if u agree

Nice kit, but if I am honest I'm here to watch Nick do his thing!

One of the greatest drum reviewers of all time! ;)
This kit sounds great. I really love the way the Meinl Vintage and Extra Dry cymbals fit together sonically.
Awesome kit, but what I really like in this video is that ride cymbal! That's the sound I've been looking for!
Hey Nick, how about a review on
SJC's bell brass snare drum!
Kit sounds killer! I am a Gretsch guy and I like that warm fat and tight tone and these have it! Love the custard color also!
Love seeing the list of gear with links!!!
Thank you for all the links! Super helpful! More people need to do that.

Hey, isn't he the guy who totally destroyed it in that coop3rdrumm3r video?
Oh dear Jesus
Why no hi hat Mic
No more music, please.
It drowns out the sound of the drums, which is why we are watching.
SJC is for millennial punk rockers 👎
