Jaguar XK8 Front Wheel Barings

This is the front hub bearing off of a 1997 Jaguar XK8. The car can into the shop for replacement of the front pads and rotors and upon inspection found the front wheel bearings completely worn out. What made this repair unique is the front wheel bearings are a sealed taper double roller type. I have replaced many of this type of bearing but not on the front. You usually find this type of bearing in the rear of a European car with independent suspension.

oh yeah, and what kind of tool is that that you pressed the new bearing in with? I was going to try and get a shop to press the new one in for me (when I get the spindle off), but if its cheaper to buy or make that tool maybe I'll give that a shot.

hi, how did you get the spindle off? I took off the 3 nuts that I see and nothing is budging, thanks.
