Jaguar XK8 wheel bearing replacement front - How To

I heard people brake these knuckles/hubs when attempting to replace one of these bearings, and this is the way i've done it without damaging anything. Hope it helps.

Nice video. However, getting the ABS ring off (with or without the special Jaguar tool) is the worst part of the job. I wish you'd shown your method in action.

I filmed this with my phone, so it was a bit dificult to try that. But i think i explained pretty clear how it should be done. In all honesty, if someone is capable to get that far, unscrewing the ring is the easy part, as long as you know the how. And nothing is easy on a Jag. The older the jag, the worse. Cheers.

It is readily available in many sizes and capacities at many tool shops. Can come in handy in a garage especially because you can find smaller units, for home use. Hope the video helped.
