If I had to describe seeing The Cure live in 3 words I would say impossible, impossible impossible,,, but its one of the greatest live concerts I ever seen in 1996 at Reunion Arena, and I was born in 1969 but I would have never believed how food they are live and Robert Smith the perfect gentleman makes you feel like he is there for you!! I dont know how but its true!! And I seen them I was on Rob Smiths right side if he is facing the crowd and I was 1st 2md or 3rd row lower balcony and he was seeing who could make the most noise and I really think it was me and my friends area she loved it too!! I have never been so excited about a musician looking at my section but it was greatest feeling and Robert was wearing a Stars Hockey Jersey and it was the greatest show EVER!!!! And I have seen Pink Floyd, been in front row Kiss concert at Srarplex but it was not as memorable as Roberts enthusiasm it was just amazing and thank you Robert I can't believe I was with a friend and she and I were only friends so she was all primed up and me myself and I went home alone with no lady to hold ,,, that part was sad because Robert drives the girls WILD!!! I'm glad I just shared that with whoever is going to read this I think Dallas is a special place especially for The Cure,,,, ✌

That is sure enough something to be proud of for so many reasons including home of Jazz, and some of the warmest hearted Southern folks, and I have never even been, can you believe that? A Mardi Gras is definitely on my bucket list,, and I used to go to New Iberia to stay with my uncle Forest Landry or Buddy, and I gave him the alias "Boudreaux" because it seems like the most common name in Louisiana! LoL. It's been many years since I was a teenager and went to New Iberia, and I didn't realize that the name Boudreaux followed him to his obituary and it's a Bittersweet feeling that I gave him that name but I miss him so much, and , it's so tragic his mother was hit by a car checking in the mail in New Iberia, his father got sick and passed away shortly before or after his Mom passed away and my Uncle Buddy had beat lung cancer, and about six months later he had cancer of the brain and I found out 3 days before he passed away and I visited him in the hospital the last 3 days he was alive, I told him I loved him and squeezed his shoulder and I am not sure if he knew I was there because he didn't seem to respond to anything around him or noise or touch, but I'm certain after he passed away he knew that I had been there, I had good times riding around the bayous drinking beer and skiing and hydra sliding on the alligator and snake Infested bayous, anyway I don't mean to be a buzzkill but I really loved it in Louisiana, and Mr Landry (Buddy's Dad) would play the accordion and sing in French and that was something you would only see in La. Live is for those into the experience of the event, those who want the sound want the original studio tune or remaster and it rightfully costs a premium. Most of the tunes I have are from CD or downloads. Downloads are usually the best buy because the selected tune(s) can be bought although some, not many, can only be bought in album form. The days of having to buy the entire album only is largely over. Tunes were expensive in my years of collecting.

Live is generally never as good as a studio recording. Trumpet and guitar were too muted and as the artist age the vocal zig just isn't there.
In your opinion. Everyone else loves it, and Robert Smith sings just as good as ever despite his age.
