I listen to Cure songs over n over again...for 45 years now. I go thru era's. Lately...this version...fukn awesome. Reeves shreds it. Just an incredible version of Wrong Number. I truly how they mix it up with songs. Same song but add this, give it that...just incredible artists.
This is by far their best version of this song. My first go to st any bar. 100% of drinkers/ partiers know exactly what he is singing about and they are truly rockin to. Anyone ever say why is Cure in the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame...give them this as just one example. A true gem. Just an incredibly awesome song
Much much respect to Robert and the band for still jamming out in that down pour with all that amp'd up electric equipment.. could've ☠️ them, thats very high voltage ⚡️.. but they stayed and gave the audience everything
@@UA-camHater2024 Tank you! yes really nice, but I prefer KISS live at Royal Albert Hall 04-01-2006 I think it's their masterpiece. ua-cam.com/video/1T144LoA1LI/v-deo.html
Was there! One of my fave concerts ever because of the rain. We were drowned rats and it was 100% worth it. Too bad the grounds flooded and the next day had to be canceled.
I was ambushed.......porl's guitar artwork extends onto his arm........no surprise for a man who waiting to play in London does an ímpromtu Frankie Vaughan song.......gimme the moonlight, gimme the girl........a brilliant chap, óld bean.......
Bad Ass version... I saw Reeves play this with The Cure when they came to San Jose State University in 1997. Didn't quite understand the connection until he became a regular member of the band later.
The rain started coming down and didn't let up for nearly 24 hrs. It shut down day 3 of the 2nd week of ACL 2013 with an ankle deep quagmire. I missed out on seeing Atoms For Peace but it was all good cause The Cure refused to let the rain stop the show. Seemed like they got better after the rain started. The show was simply amazing!
i was there! had to walk home with a bike in tall platform shoes, and it totally sucked BUT IT WAS WORTH IT because the show was so much better than the first weekend. i had not seen this footage yet. #gothgods broke ACL, my favorite part! festival season is also monsoon season.
It was written from a jam with Reeves Gabriel - "I saw (“Wrong Number”) just like “Never Enough” from the Mixed Up album. It was just like an aberration. I mean it was good fun, but it was a one-off. We did it with Reeves Gabrels and he had a huge influence on the sound of it. I pretty much did that with just him and Jason (Cooper). It just arose out of a jam, really. It turned into a nice, heavy pop song."

Ages Flow Should've gone to the Atoms For Peace show at the Moody Theater. Only like 300 got in but it was livestreamed. It was awesome.
Rain is just water... I love the rain.
Reeves Gabrels proved why he was such a great pick for Cure. He smoked it
They are so special.
Unsurprisingly, the one song that Reeves excels on
Muy bueno gracias. Los mejores del mundo e inmortales 🖤 2023...

Prettiest raindrops I've ever seen.

You think Reeves is shit? Or do you mean this is the only song he did with them proper?
Love the Cure, for some reason I hate this song
