I got a Cruiser about 14 months ago. It's got about 400 miles on it and has never been farther away from home than 5 miles. I use it for short errands a lot. I live up a mile-long hill that was always a pain to go up on a regular bike but would let me coast downhill at 35 mph. The Cruiser has always made it up the hill without me having to pedal it. There are times when it will slow down to about 12 mph, but she still gets there without my help. My bike was one from the early batch where nobody on the internet was happy with the brakes. I bought it anyway and replaced the calipers before even riding the bike. I was happy with the brakes until the front rotor bolts all fell out and let the rotor get bent. No Loctite on the screws... So I replaced both rotors with some by Tektro and replaced the pads with some ceramic ones by Gekors. It stops well enough for the hills around here. It did have a manufacturing defect with the on/off button that caused the bike to be on when the display was off. It took ME forever to pin down the problem and customer service was less than ideal when I tried to get another. Eventually, after me having to be a public pain in their butt, they sent a display and switch assembly. The bike works properly now. I've ridden my bike off-road once. It was not as pleasant as they make it look on the commercials. Seriously, it's not a dirt bike. But on the street, it's plenty good. I like my bike. I wish I'd had it as a kid.
it was your review on the cruiser that sold me back in June 22. I used your coupon and bought it. i live in South Mississippi so the cruiser pro is overkill for me and I don't need the extended range. I mention your reviews in my videos sometimes. you do a great job sir. When people ask me in my area what to get i pretty much give them the same advice you do. Save the money and buy the cruiser then take that savings and put it in a few upgrades. good job
I love the Magicycle brand bikes, they always work and perform as advertised. They told me that they have been listening to their customers and are coming out with a new bike. This should be interesting.
When I tried yours, it was more than capable and I loved it. Made me want to get one. They're awesome for recreational riding or if your vehicle breaks down and you need to get to a town. Again guys, GV, and I hope you're all having a blessed day.
I just own a trek road bike ane hybrid bike and for me the huge difference between hydraulic disk brakes vs mechanical brakes or mechanical disk brakes is stopping distance on even flat ground. I would pick hydraulic disk brakes any time.
@@gonagain lol no sir preparing for all my teeth out and 5 disk neck surgery my friend ,i am a hardware kind of guy but this my be a bit much lol 8 screws and two rods and the bracket gezzz big hugs from MN
Hi I have a question… I’m considering a Cruiser Pro (Mid Step-Thru) for my 5’-7” wife and I wanted to know is the step through height too high and do most people end up swinging their leg over the back rack….Thank you!

When I get around to buying an e-bike, I will go with a Magicycle based on your reviews. Thank you.
You won't be sorry, and I don't hesitate in recommending them.
Rick, Thanks for this video. the choice is clear to me now , I'll go with the cruiser pro !!!

Rick, you forgot to mention they recover well from crashes on the trail. 😲
Ha Ha! Better than I did.

We are having a great day and are staying inside to avoid being blown away by the high wind. It's getting close to hibernation time in Montana.
Thanks, and always great information! Those are nice bikes!
Yeah, they really are. I wanted to do an overnight bike trip this weekend, but it's way too windy!
Like solar panels....I'll wait for the next upgrade coming next month....and again next month. They get better every month

Hey Rick Great bikes thank you for sharing Big hugs to you and Linda i am saving up for a ebike my friend.
Great idea, Dan, because it helps save on the gas. Are you ready for winter? I never am.

Mine isn't a step-through, although the top bar is fairly low. If she gets the actual step-through she shouldn't have any problems.
I’ll just say without hesitation go buy the Cruiser Pro for under $2k. Better to have it and not need it than to not have it and need it.
Anyone tries to go 80 miles had better plan on walking home. Really 😮
Nice, but too Rich for my blood....! =)
