    Getting out on the road is what Linda and I love to do with our converted cargo trailer camper. We're part time nomads and the nomadic lifestyle suits us to a Tee. Whether your RV is a camper van, camp trailer, travel trailer, motorhome or just a car and a tent, there's going to be something interesting for you in the videos we produce. Back roads and overlanding are part of what we do while exploring the western states for beautiful, peaceful and sometimes remote places to camp on BLM and National Forest land (public land). Taking care of ourselves as much as possible and doing our own repairs is a must because we travel on a fixed income and a limited budget. If you're into being off-grid and boondocking or doing dispersed camping whenever possible then you'll appreciate the discussions on batteries, solar panels and solar chargers or power stations and 12v refrigeration. Come on along, we're happy to have your company!

    Excellent review! Of all I've seen on the Ocelot Pro, yours is by far the best. You don't get hung up on all the technicalities, but rather demonstrate their benefits in an entertaining, non-repetitive fashion. Bravo!

    I got my Magicyle Ocelot Pro in Army Green a month ago in the first shipment. Your review is the best one I've seen yet. It's everything you said it is. I'm ordering mirrors and that beefy front basket. I did get a suspension seat post and an oversized cushier seat that, between the two add about 4" for taller riders. It's super easy to swap in with the quick release post. You didn't mention how smooth and quiet it is. I absolutely love it and so does my whole family.

    You're the first to mention "walk assist" and why it's practical. Thanks for that! Now here's a question for you: if I'm holding my dog's leash with my left hand thus depending on my right hand to handle most everything else, can I twist the throttle just enough to move slowly and steadily without feeling like I'm on a racehorse out of the gate?

    • @gonagain
      @gonagain  4 місяці тому

      That would be very hard to do with the throttle. It would be easier using the walk assist which is on the left grip.

    • @Tom-xn2gu
      @Tom-xn2gu 4 місяці тому

      Great! You're saying "walk assist" can actually work if I'm sitting on the bike? I can balance quite well at slow speeds. I've had lots of practice, with my dog at my side. I hold his leash with my left hand, the right hand controls the bike. After 2 years, we're pretty good at it. Walk assist sounds like just the ticket! Thank you!@@gonagain

I can get my Ocelot up and inside my Class C RV door easier, especially when I remove the battery first. I will lay it on my dinette/bed when traveling or in bad weather. I can also get it in the back of my Honda Odyssey minivan with one half seat folded. The Ocelot is a terrific ebike. I'm glad I didn't get a folder now.

    Hello Love all your videos. My question is I want to purchase this bike but can you charge the battery with a bluetti generator?

    • @gonagain
      @gonagain  Рік тому

      That depends on the size of your Bluetti. The battery in the Ocelot Pro is very large, at 20AH, or 1040watt hours of power. A Bluetti EB70 would charge it about 3/4s of the way, if it we're totally flat.

    Have you thought about replacing the freewheel with a 11-34 tooth? This would give you an even more lower gear for climbing hills.

    • @gonagain
      @gonagain  Рік тому +1

      I've been thinking about a 9-speed gear stack to give me one lower and one higher to help with "ghost" pedaling.

    • @jimjr9143
      @jimjr9143 Рік тому +2

      I get annoyed so many of these e-bike companies do not put in a freewheel cassette that goes down to 11 tooth. That needs to be matched with at least a 52 tooth chainring. It’s a must to be able to pedal assist around 28mph. If i where to buy one of these , those are the first things i would change out.

      I agree i paid 1100 for my vitilan V3 great bike almost 2k and satisfies every need i have. I would never pay mre than 2k for a ebike and thats got to really have nice features / motor / battery for me to pay max $

      Shoot I've got a G-Force t42ebike that I gave $1,200 for and I also have a Tesgo Hummer Pro that I gave $1,400 for and they are great I had to change the seats out of course because they don't come with really good seats but other than that they've got really good hydraulic brakes they both have 750 watt Motors and they're really nice I can't see spending two or $3,000 on a e-bike when you can buy these that are a lot cheaper and made just as well I'm completely satisfied with both of them they've got plenty of power and they didn't cost a fortune

    There is no full suspension, so disappointing, Komodda it is.
