I'm cabin crew and a PPL holder based in Singapore and it's always lovely to see this approach back to base [ especially this POV] . Thanks so much for adding in the ILS and taxi charts too. Great video!

I was on this flight on december 5th 2017. One of the most enjoyable flights I have ever been on. Business class was awesome. Very nice to see what was going on in the cockpit upon landing. Thanks!

Je n'y connais absolument rien en pilotage, les trucs qui s'affichent et les checklists sont du véritable charabia... mais que j'aime regarder ces vidéos ! Voir ce qu'il se passe du point de vue des pilotes, les radios etc... Sans parler des images en elles-mêmes qui sont très belles et la bonne réalisation des vidéos. We use a ‘airport map’ on our tablets to taxi
Its more simple than you think they name the taxi ways and use the avation alphabet and numbers for those taxi ways
Can someone pls explain me how they turn the plane while taxiing? Cuz i see no one uses the steering while taxiing. Is it done just by rudder?
@@itspradeepbtw rudder and nose landing wheel is also linked to rudder pedals when plane is on the ground

I work in Singapore for 6.5 years. Left in mid 2000 to the states.
AF256 from Paris to Sinagapore was my first really long flight, so I gotta love this vid :)

My home airport. 2 parallel runways, busiest Airport in the world. Also the airport is really close to the border with Malaysia, so 90% of the approach is actually done flying over Malaysian airspace.
This is something amazing to watch, really professional. It makes us feel like we are in the cockpit aswell.
The sound, the checklist, simply brilliant! You guys did a really good job on this one.

It breaks my heart that I have not been in a position to be able to travel since the mid 80's Singapore Airline were the best then and I am hearing, still the best. Deservidely so. I miss long haul flights. Excellent video. Makes me wonder why they don't have a "live" cam in the nose on every flight.

I appreciate that 20R has that extra amount of tarmac before the marks - if you happened to stall or rapidly lose altitude due to a microburst at least your not coming down onto a road, buildings - or a slope.

curious question: how did they control the airplane on the runway turning right and left ? i just havent seen the pilot use the "steering wheel" but rather have his hands on the side ? cheers
we have a wheel on the side to steer the plane on the ground

Who is steering the plane during taxi to berthing the plane? I dont see the captain hand anywhere near the wheel, so what do they use to steer just curious
