I think I just found your channel and I wanted to say that I love it so far - new subscriber. I don't need to lose weight (5' 4" and 116lbs), but I DO need to be more mindful of strength training. I'm trying to be consistent with the WFPB way of eating for all around better health as I approach menopause and beyond, and have recently added in 3 days of strength training each week. I'm already consistent with cardio ;)
Anyway... I might actually get in touch for fine tuning, but it will be more towards mid-May after I finish my current 30-day trial with a personal trainer and go on a big trip.
    Blessings, Joanne

I have no idea how old you are, but I am 61, NEVER in my life had a belly, small person, 5 kids, always fit, ironman finisher, eat well, but once menopause hit, I sadly never knew about the loss of my hormones was going to cause a belly I never had, and cannot get rid of, if you mention catching those hormones, ( with HRT which I was a late starter on ) before there gone, in your video that would be a asset, because it is not as easy as you make it sound, the loss of hormones are a BIG contributor to mid belly fat,

It's actually heart-breaking, isn't it? Because these days we KNOW what we're lining ourselves up for. Maybe increase your fibre, drink more water, increase protein, no or low sugar and simple carbs, cut food out altogether after 6 (intermittent fasting has killed my belly off at 66 y o more than anything else) and don't snack. What no one tells you is that a TOTAL overhaul of diet is necessary during peri - but certainly after meno. Took me years and very ill health to realise. That evening drink, that brownie - personally, I'd rather be well as I get older. x

Maybe we are all just different IDK. I now consume tallow, butter, and very fatty grass fed meats only. The oxilates alone were horrible.

You can have potatoes, but eat them without oil, fat, or cheese. Also, you can turn potatoes into resistant starch by simply cooking them allowing them to cool completely and then re-heating. Resistant starch won't raise your blood sugar so quickly.

Olive oil is actually one of the healthiest oils in the entire world. It is extremely high in polyphenols which are anti inflammatory and loaded with high value nutrition . It’s the gold standard of all oils and people who have a high intake of olive oil with a healthy diet and balanced lifestyle have long and healthy lives.
It absolutely does not make you put on weight.

Hair falling out, etc. Why? Too much processed 'vegan' foods maybe? You can't eat rotting dead flesh and expect to be healthy for very long. When going vegan, it has to be super well-planned over the age of 60, and you may need certain supplements. The issue with sat fat and animal products (keto/carnivore etc) is that you may have initial weight loss because you're eliminating all sugars and processed foods, but eventually you will tire of not eating the most healthful foods. Fruits and veggies contain the micronutrients you need to age-proof your body for Long term health - protecting your brain, breast, heart, gut and bones.
