Thanks mate, you were lucky to beat the snow. But seriously after driving a million km with all possible drive systems I would really wanna take this up a mountain pass like the Tremola to see if predominantly rwd will keep it on track. Now it is a long wait for them passes to open again. City drivers really want a light car with corner handling and highest efficiency.
It's not like you get into the car, go on a highway for a long trip and then realize oh shit this is a new car I need to learn as I drive. It needs to be intuitive true, but it needs to be more memorable once you learn how to use it, which imho it is.
@@hatsoroush23 Hi, sure, yes. You will get used to it. But there is no clear logic behind the menus and the logic differs from other (modern) Audis of late. And as about 60% of the source of sales will be existing Audi customers. many will be slightly annoyed or confused. But overall, the Q6 is a great car.
@@morten_hannesbo Hi 👋 I disagree. By that logic, we’d still be driving the same motor wagon from 1885. Technology moves on, and consumers adapt. This is the first Audi to feature the revamped infotainment system, and as an existing customer, I love it.
I test drove this vehicle at the dealership, and I agree with the reviewer. I'm in IT with extensive experience in computers/technology, plus I currently own both an A6 and a Q5, and even I got confused trying to navigate myself around the Q6's MMI. I suppose one can figure it out eventually, but the average person (especially older people) will likely give up quickly. The menus and settings should be organized better IMHO. That being said, most people will probably jump to Apple CarPlay and ignore everything else anyway.
@ Thank you🙏. I have had about 25 Audis and the MMI has gone from great to good to complicated. A Tesla is easy to grasp within minutes and is much more intuitive. I assume the cooperation across models and brands (Porsche Macan : Audi Q6 : Audi A6) and the problems at Cariad forced the developers to compromise. A shame really - our 2016 Audi RS7 has a much better MMI interface.
I like the looks, but the MMI system is combersome and old feeling. Much prefer a more minimalist and clear and modern look. I do like that they have charge ports on each rear fender. Gives more options for home carging. I am hoping their deal with Rivian gives them a step up on software design.
This car makes more sense in the RWD lower trim spec. This car is definitely not worth anything near 100k euros. Our is 83k, which I think for a electric SUV with these spec is actually quite decent.
These are Germans...the most innovative, tech packed vehicles you can get. GENESIS, LEXUS copies Germans. Audi has the best turning radius, best AWD system, to innovations & originality....how is that not worth it 😂 You'll find plastic on all high end cars bc to give you the best performance ina vehicle not designed for high performance you gotta save weight and as far as the styling goes ..I LOVE IT...CAR LOOKS VERY TECHY......GO AUDI, GERMAN #1
Solid review👏 but there will be a brick wall at the end of the relentless market trend or competition of luxury crossover-SUVs, diesel or electric. I'm just so damn tired of EVs selectively being upmarket purely for the quickest ROI whilst said profits are weakening with inflation contributed by the +20 years financing of "competitive" crossover-SUVs and pushing out entry level cars like the Ford Fiesta and Ka, VW eUP! Renault Twingo and Smart ForFour/ForTwo. An A1 and A2 etron should be in the picture if VW/Audi needs to be competitive. VW/Skoda/SEAT and now Rivian apparently should steer clear of becoming luxury brands, that's just giving away market share. It's an arms race and unsustainable for Europe especially, another 2008 just when the solar and EV tariffs were slapped in... as long as $USA$ stays on top of China. There will be a brick wall at the end of the relentless market trend or competition of luxury crossover-SUVs.
I do not understand the price comparison with other brands like Tesla. Tesla gives never discount. At the AMAG you get always discount, even as a customer without fleet company. Myself I bought a Q6 quattro fully equiped under 100kCHF.
@@mandioni Sure, you get 10-20% discounts, particularly if you have a fleet discount. Typically the large discounts for normal retail customers are given for stock units. At Tesla you get much less discount but for Model Y there has been 0% financing offers. The Q6 e-tron is an excellent car and with discounts even better, but it is still much more expensive than eg Tesla.
@@brendanng4358 Hi, Premium: Audi Q4 e-tron quattro (we own one). Non-Premium: Tesla Model Y. In Canada I believe Genesis is available - the Genesis GV60 is very good, too.
Finally a complete review of this car. So many important details for day to day life that have been omitted from any other review out there.

Not sure why the comparison with Tesla Model Y. People who enjoy driving and good design won’t have Tesla in their shopping list
