Thanks for the test Kris.
But please note these are 19 inch wheels, 235/60|255/55 R19 (check the configurator) and not 20 inch. Range on 20 inch wheels would be slightly less than tested here.
Sorry mate, you are 100% correct!
Hi, im very interested on the A6 Avant e tron, cant wait!!
Great test. I like how you perform this test since it does take away all traffic variations. Taking a result with driving time will always cause some unfair comparison. One thing, you said it did not have adaptive dampers. Are you saying it does not have drive select with modes? Have not drived the low spec variant, and I belived it had adaptive damping but no air suspension.
That's correct is passively adaptive sport suspension.
What drive select mode was used for this test? Also, have you ever tried doing the same test in different drive select modes to see how much it affects the range? It would be interesting to see how much further you can go in "efficiency" vs. "dynamic" or "balanced". Now, back to waiting for the Q6/SQ6 to be available here in the US.
Edit: Just looked again and I see that "Efficiency" is on the display next to the power usage. So, best you are going to see without degrading behavior in the plus mode.
This is the first car that I can also imagine as a towing vehicle. With these outstanding charging times, it should be possible to travel any distance with a caravan, with 15-minute charging stops every three hours. Additionally, it has more than two tons of braked towing capacity. What more could you want?
Long charging bays so you can plug in without unhitching!
Sadly few and far between.
Great to hear it’s a comfy car that’s good to drive. I’ve got one on order to replace my etron 55. Gone for a Quattro on comfort steel suspension. Can’t get air in the U.K. on the Q6.
Honestly I love how these smaller base wheels look. We also ordered ours with them.
Har Audi givet dig ide om, hvornår du kan låne en A6 etron pressebil? Jeg ser rigtig meget frem til sådan en test og vil glæde mig til at se den, forhåbentlig i den nærmeste fremtid 😀
Your sheet is missing some fundamental most important values. That's the battery capacity and charging output/power the vehicle would handle.
The AUDI has a 100 kWh (net 94.9 kWh) battery. Other cars have different capacities, so it would be great if you could calculate the efficiency value from the range and battery capacity first.
Also, the max charging power is an important value to mention in the sheet.
Tror du har en feil med dekk/hjuldimensjoner. Dette er 19" ikke 20, og i skjema skriver du og 244/55/20 bak, men det er 255/55/19
What do you mean with "very different" of the Q8 (13'10)? really interested to understand your feeling. And did you alreaey tried the Macan? Best or same? Thanks
I hope you will test new macan ev soon, that car has a lower drag coefficient so it should have little bit better consumption. im going to see one today to my local dealership.
The thing is, you said it's not quieter than the Q4. I did find the Q6 just average (double-paned side windows and 21") regarding noise insulation.
The question is, how often one really needs the 800V fast charge. Daily commute, no. Two larger trips in the year, no. Frequently driving greater distances, definitely 800V.
Some Q6 Groups are already full with Software bug reports… you never faced any issues? I can’t believe Audi still really released after all those delays the car in a beta mode…
Good to see range and efficiency improving. The car itself doesn’t excite. Might be colour and spec? But makes me wonder if the Porsche Macan EV may be the drivers choice?
Color choice is poor... much better with the Macan EV. However, seating position too high, not Porsche like sadly. Drove it on the track too recently, no comparison to a Cayenne which I drive back to back.
The limit on Norwegian highways are 110
Great car! And dramatic video))))
I know of a car that will beat that with ease.
But it also comes from Audi. The Audi A6 e-tron.😬
Sorry, didn’t wait till the end of the video to make the comment.
What will you do when the first EV does the trip without needed to charge? 🤔
Color is magnet gray.
🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
Nice car, but too expensive!😉
An SUV costing 1M nok that has noise from the front motor, several old parts from old models like the door handles and the cruise control lever, no space for child seats unless you drive cramped, and a luggage compartment that you cannot fit airplane standard suitcases, NO THANKS!! This is an expensive SUV for singles or couples with no kids
P3 is a lot better 😅
So why chinese brands and people think they have the best evs? Here we see that germans have the most efficient ev out there.
China has range test that gives unrealistic numbers. Every single EV China brings to west seems to be a turd outside cars designed in west.
Maybe because the Chinese manufacture the batteries themselves, so they know more about batteries and can sell the cars cheaper/with a better margin.
@@kham4481 the thing is they produce the battery themselve correct but there are several examples from different brands with the same chinese battery and the german ev often has more efficiency. The chinese cars are not efficient enough. They just put electric motors inverters and battery into the car. Batterymanagement system thermal systems are not good.
Electric motors arent efficinet either.
Well, because the Germans are still stuck in their: Sell the base version cheap, then charge over price for options, whereas the chinese comes loaded with equipment and high quality included and very few extra options that are quite affordable.
Chinese cars are not better at all. I have driven a few and the only thing they do better is useless bling bling stuff that only Chinese people care about.
Nah it’s electric so therefore just stupid and crap. I get over 1000 kms on one tank with my x5 40d.
Do you often drive 1000 km. without a 20 min break?
Hmm, you usually start with 100% SoC...drive 600km...and charge for 15min to get another 400km...
Yes, I sometimes drive 500km without a break, but never ever a 1000km trip.
Usually you stop twice at least for 25min for such a trip.
It is just a matter of Infrastructure, which is good already at least in Germany along autobahn...and no longer a matter of range.
The only thing, which stops me so far to buy one is driving dynamics...they are very heavy compared to an ICE...BUT, you drive a X5 40d, which is also fat like a pregnant hippo ;-) And has 0 driving dynamic compared to relative lightweight sedan, too.
Russian bot. No we don‘t want your oil. FO.
@@josefv-y8mit's pure psychology. With E Auto, you are prescribed how far you can go, when to make a break, for how long and also important, every charge has it's uncertanty. Average car owner doesn't like that in 2024. It is a clear downgrade from what they are used to and costs more.
Apart from that, such tests are not very helpfull outside od Norway, maybe Holland but for majority of countries with 130 kmh limits where much higher avg speeds are made, it changes the strategy significantly. Not to mention that there are still huge parts of Europe where high speed chargers are as common as snow in the summer.
@@poulpedersen5363 but I have the option where an electric car is just one massive compromise. And expensive and in fact has a massive impact on the environment in both battery construction and power creation.
you can play a game with the head-up-display
better than your Taycan ?
