I’m very much considering a Dropout subscription after this and all the shorts that they’ve posted. I just need more granma sweetie in my life
And I need this to be a show not a one-off thing, please!
Dude do it. Their new season of Dimension 20 (their ttrpg series) is fucking amazing. Never Stop Blowing Up, check it out, it’s got more Rekha and Ally and Brennan is the DM. Zac is on other seasons of Dimension 20 and he is equally as funny and unhinged in his roleplay characters.
do it it is really worth it, regardless of what you like, their catalogue is extensive now you'll surely find something that you love
I'd say go for it!! It's super cheap and a bunch of content!
It's the most bang for buck I get out of any of my streaming services. Also Dropout is very password sharing-friendly so if you can't do $6/month you can always split it with a friend.
@@igotbeans recently got some shorts recommended from their D20 Questing Queens campaign and that sealed the deal for me. Waiting for my next paycheck and then having a very fun week watching every single thing I remember from every UA-cam short! Ooopoo very excited
Do you recommend watching them on the website or using the app? I saw some comments about how one might be better than the other
i loved this so much but i wish there was another twist where sam was almost being played by someone else and the final win determiner was identifying who sam really is
My favorite bit was Rehka saying opposite of Brennan is herself haha.
Jess was so fun the whole time! Perfect for her energy
"Wow, these are bad jokes. It's crazy that we're all comedians." 😂
Rekha did in fact look super fucking hot walking down the hallway!
I love these two episodes so much I hope they do another ratfish or just sumthn with a similar premise
I had this playing in the background and then I heard my name when they started talking about grandson Mason and the way I turned, around so fast I gave myself whiplash😂
was waiting for the Brennan trying to sit at his name card expletives, you're completely correct A+++
I loved the vibe of this show! Though it did kinda flounder towards the end... I feel like they shouldn't have had a celebrity guest, personally. Maybe someone from the office or another smaller online comedian that they know? Just to muddy the waters a bit? Still, I hope we get to see Ratfish again!!
It needed to be someone that the cast didn’t know very well, so another cast member wouldn’t have worked. But maybe they could’ve gotten someone more generally well known or something.
I’ve seen a lot of people saying it should’ve been Robert Reich, and that would’ve been funny
@tbow13gbr22 That would be funny! I feel like their guest is well known, since he is a famous comedian, but probably not to Dropout's main audience. I saw someone in a UA-cam Shorts comment say that he would be someone that the Dropout cast would know, so maybe if they'd been able to have him in the reveal at the end that would've been fun? Idk, lots to consider! But I agree that they should be a comedian (or just an internet person) more known to their audience at least.
Watching all of them just flex their comedy skills and making each other laugh was delightful. I hope theres more episodes that have this energy in the future lmao
Zac with the whoopie cushion was one of the funniest things I've seen all year.
7:32 this is gonna sound dumb but I'm not usually someone who laughs out loud while watching things. like i laugh irl a lot, but not when it comes to watching media for some reason, even though i'm very entertained by it. this part where Zac sent a fart sound with just the word "idiot" makes me laugh out loud literally every time i think about it
and that's the power of Zac Oyama
Granma Sweetie is some of the funniest Zack comedy I've ever seen!
Ally running down the hallway will never not get me, it was so unexpected the first time I saw it I had to rewind.
sometimes i wonder why brennan lee mulligan didn't go as "brennan lee mulligan" and pretend to be himself to throw everyone off
Ally SPRINTING down the hallway is peak gold imo I love them so much
I'm hindsight I'm not sure how more people didn't know right away that Zac was graNma sWeetie.
This was such a brilliant game for these guys to play
You are so real during the epic walking through the hallway scene omg omg omg
I remember when the trailer first came out someone said “it’s just 45 minutes of them walking down the hallway”
there’s no game they’re just walking down the hall
zac as granma sweetie absolutely KILLED it. choco taco, runnin, says who...
The running bit of asking Sam where he's from at the beginning
At least we can all agree on one thing:
*Medecine*
I did not get what this joke was
I loved this so much especially bc these are some of the best comedians I know, and watching all of them cackle at Zach constantly sending whoopee cushion farts was gold
This episode only increased my crush on Rekha
Ally not knowing how old Brennan is was probably my favorite part of this.
Can’t help but notice the ratfish was only tangentially here. Not a single Steven post :)
Am I the only one who really didn’t like the ratfish? Not the episode, the dude. He just seems like an absolute tool
You’re not alone. He seems to be the reason this is the lowest rated episode of GC to date, based on what everyone’s been saying
how do y'all not see he was also playing a part 😭 the set decoration is right there
@@riverr.659 if you’re saying he was playing a character, the character wasn’t a good fit. I agree, I do think he was playing a character. And in the same way that someone playing a goofy twerking character in a serious drama is a bad idea, it’s not generally a great idea to bring in disinterest and anti humor to a comedy show that’s primarily not that. And I’m fully prepared for this to not be Eric’s fault, but his part in the show sucked the air out of the entire episode.
@@riverr.659 He definitely could’ve been. Personally, I just got a weird vibe from the times we cut to his room and he was talking to the camera. If all of that was just playing a character for the camera, then he was playing an unlikable, boring character.
No no, we do see that. We're just not into it 😂 @@riverr.659
Bug with a big ass reverting back to Brennan dialogue, you love to see it
i absoultely LOVED graNma sWeetie they were my favorite character XD
