brennan doesnt understand the rules. he understands the lack of rules and exactly what that allows him to do.
On the other hand, if he is actually thrown off course, he is massively thrown off course, like not describing a Spencer’s correctly or bird identification (they did manipulate him but he really was thrown for a loop and Brendan is not actually that knowledgeable about birds).

Watching this again I can't help but wonder if Josh knew what they wanted but didn't smash the vase on purpose just so he could make that joke at the end of the round.
I hadn't entertained that possibility before, but you know what, Josh is entirely capable of that.

Brennan blew my mind with that Candyland bit, that character could be its own sketch, I'd watch. Heck I'd watch a whole series of that weird guy explaining all the difficulties that go into various candy-themed amusement park attractions.
So many innocent children died when the cola floodgates broke and flooded the Mentos museum.
It really was terrible placement. Id warned em so many times how dangerous it was, but no, gotta have them next to eachother. Apparently it was 'thematic'

The best (and worst) part is: when you hear the uncensored version, Josh's vase shattering sounds EXACTLY like the recording! Sucks that they have to bleep it here, because that was actual peak comedy!
