The absolute balls on that guy to confront two random cops in what obviously isn't his first language or his native country is amazing. What a hero, hats off to him
And continued to do so after the cop started trying to gas light him about what he saw.
Hell yea, that guy needs to be compensated too.
Most non US citizen would be shocked by what happened and most of them would confront them. This is not how you treat old ladies anywhere in the world except in the US. Unacceptable.
Why are you being racist lol? Why do you feel the need to point out that he's not from the US? Are you assuming he isn't a citizen because of his accent and appearance? Why can't you just point out the bravery of confronting an officer period. Born Americans are just as fearful of approaching officers with misconduct allegations as non citizens.
@@natk4017 pointing out that someone might not be from the US based on their accent or appearance isn't racist, its an observation. If you saw a martian with an accent and green skin, wouldn't it be reasonable to assume that they aren't from this planet?

The noise the cop made while getting out of his car and the fact that he was completely winded after fighting an 80 pound elderly woman says he’s not fit enough to be a cop, physically and mentally
He's not a cop, he's an SS soldier of the American Gestapo.
This was literally the female cops legal defense, that she wasn't physically and mentally capable as an officer. Like her lawyer actually had an expert evaluate her and found she really wasn't capable of being an officer
The guy that who stopped is a good man. Hundreds of people usually just drive/walk by things that are obviously wrong.
Absolutely. Just being an obvious witness can stop things like this happening in the first place.
That takes guts. Those officers are clearly willing to overstep their authority and this guy stops to challenge them. He could have easily ended up in jail too.
This video does not show, but on the BWC of the sergeant you can see the sarge threaten this citizen not to get involved. That video was also released.

Nobody would have ever known about this if it wasn't filmed. This is what has been going on for years. It's hard to watch, but there's unprofessional cops in every state.
Unprofessional is one thing. But I wouldn’t even call those things human. How such evil is aloud to even draw breath is a mystery to the world.
The only reason we're seeing this video is because of the woman's lawyer released it. The cops would have swept this under the rug if not for her.
Just think for a second. Close your eyes while you read this. They have body cameras on and yet and still reviewed the body camera and yet wrote up a summary that contradicts what the body camera showed. 🤔.
I would probably goes as far as saying unprofessional cops in every county of the state.
@@davidrekul These cops fvked up for sure but I can assure you there are much greater evil entities in the world.
The crazy part is the whole police department thought it was normal behavior for their officers. The whole Police department should be fired.
It's not a police department, it's a faction of the American Gestapo.
The fact they even sat and rewatched the bodycam footage and didn't for a second question their own actions is terrifying. If this is how they behave when they know they're being recorded at all times, imagine what they are like when the cameras are off!
Oh it's even worse than that: they were caught trying to delete the bodycam footage, which obviously came back to bite them when they given criminal charges.
what i was thinking during this was what would those officers do if it was their grandma with demntia trated like that.
The man who saw the incident and wanted to report the officers deserves a medal for his bravery. We as citizens have to start sticking up for one another more often.
That’s great but usually cops will beat you if you get involved

Isn’t it funny how police can immediately charge a citizen for resisting arrest all while carrying around “qualified immunity” where it takes months to years to prove their unprofessionalism? I’m an advocate for getting rid of qualified immunity and letting officers carry their own insurance similar to malpractice insurance that doctors and nurses carry.
How about no assaulting innocent people insurance just like the rest of us. I walk around everyday without "in case I kick your ass today insurance" it's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard of there shouldn't be insurance because they shouldn't be assaulting people.
Need to extend that to judges also. They keep letting out people who should never see the light of day.
QI is civil, resisting is criminal. Your comment makes no sense.

But yes let’s fist bump and congratulate each other for being big brave cops. “To protect and serve” what an effing joke. But seriously hats off to that concerned citizen that wanted to make sure she was ok. He’s a good guy.
What in the fuck is happening here
@@kachoww5981 great question
Protect and serve for themselves
Most definitely
Should we pass local ordinances that explicitly read that if an older person tries to commit a crime police officers should just let them go? Better yet, the state legislature should pass a law that reads if the theft was less than $14 police officers should not intervene. Would you agree with that? Did you see the part where they read that police officers should not attempt to play psychiatrist. How do you tell a person high on drugs that looks like a mess from a legit older person with dementia? A police officer is supposed to be a doctor that can tell one from the other in a glance? Should a younger person with schizophrenia be allowed to walk away from trying to commit a crime due to their disability? Who makes that decision at the moment and place, not from a desk? If the officer is guilty of trying to detain her, then Walmart is also guilty for calling the police on her. Or, nobody could tell between a senior citizen with dementia from a 30 year old after years of meth use.
BTW: I am not saying they should not have gotten in trouble. If they did tamper with evidence, they deserve whatever they get.
Imagine trying to justify beating up an old woman like this. These people are seriously sick in the head.
And he seriously got winded from it. He isn’t fit mentally or physically.
They're vicious, ravenous, bloodthirsty hyenas.
The crazy thing is the females officers legal defense was she literally wasnt physically and mentally capable of being an officer and it was the departments fault for employing her. Her lawyer said she was not "mentally capable of processing verbal and visual content at a rapid enough pace" to do the job and was never appropriately trained for arrests.
This is insane. I don’t get how a cop can chase you down when Walmart got their products back. This is insane.
and the fact that it wasn't even a felony amount, was less than $20, and she didn't even take it!!
The man who pulled over to confront those cops is incredible. I cannot imagine how hard it would be to see two cops doing that, and trying to confront them on it knowing the same could end up happening to you.
Yes. That was amazing. Wow! I would like to send him dinner.
Also, you have to consider that English did not appear to be his first language. That would be intimidating-approaching law enforcement for abuse and knowing you may not understand 100% of what is said and you may not be able to say 100% of what you’re trying to say. The sick part is that Officer Waistlock [TM] had the gall to give him a condescending lecture *on camera* about how wrong he was to attempt to intervene during the commission of a violent felony.
For the witness to stop, knowing that he had difficulty with his English, goes to show how serious the excessive force was from his perspective

Imagine breaking an old lady's shoulder over $13 that she did not even actually steal
And to make matter worse, not only was she made return the items (thus no actual theft being committed by technicality), she accidentally exited the store without paying. Her condition inhibited her thought process at that point and I’m sure she would’ve had otherwise gladly paid. Poor lady.
@@DistinguishedSombrero if the staff are trained to look for people with these medical conditions it would of gone a different way. had one happen to me in the uk. women could not find her car and we look everywhere we got our manager to help and he notice something was up called the police and she was know for having dementia and has walked to the shop while her husband was asleep and brought her cars keys with her. the police took her home and all was good

What really shocks me is that this was a response to an alleged incident. An incident which at that point in time amounted to hearsay. They were prepared to apply 'force' to this 'wrong doer' based on what they were told, but hadnt verified. This makes me wonder if those officers were acting to fulfill some kind of quota for arrests, and that behind their actions is a systemic cause, unidentified by this isolated incident.
@@chrisliddiard725 I think the cops fragile ego was bruised, so he retaliated. You can’t walk away from me! I’m a god( cop)!
The sentencing that they both ended up getting in this case should happen a lot more often because what these cops did happens almost every day and yet, nothing ever comes of 99% of similar incidents.
A follow up...Officer Hobbs plea bargained a 5 year prison sentence with 3 years of probation. Officer Jalali was sentenced to 45 days in jail and 3 years probation.

In the cells was a man who had slurred speach but was not drunk. The most disgusting part of this is if you google Loveland police department, this isn’t even the most recent. They just arrested another officer at the same department for sexual assault. Absolutely insane, the entire department is rotted to the core
Upon even further examination this isn’t even the first time a male cop assaulted a woman. There a video of yet another Loveland officer punching a handcuffed woman, who is sitting down, in the face.

@@give_me_my_nick_backAnd so you're saying neither he nor you are qualified to be cops. Cool. Regardless of how easy or difficult you think it is, the fact that he instantly resorted to force on an elderly woman who didn't pose a threat to him, and immediately assumed that her strange behavior was an act of defiance (which itself still isn't a reason to apply forceful restraint), tells me that he has no idea what his or citizens rights are; all he cares about is arresting someone to meet some kinda quota, and retaliating harshly to anyone who, as he himself said, "fights the police."
