It seems that they are trained to think that anyone who doesn't follow their orders is commiting obstruction. In the military, we call it not following unlawful orders. We are protected from doing so. It's sad when the dangerous idea of having military be police seems to be the better option (my one exception to this would be replacing SWAT with a specialy trained National Guard rate with a civilian who can give the oder to go in or retreat and nothing more removing civilians from the SWAT role).

@@canadianreserve Exactly, she may have been assisting him with his self-induced wounds. She readily admitted it was his... she didn't say the cat is bleeding. Once he showed them he wasn't tied up, dying or dead, they needed to take things down a notch. NOT ESCALATE the situation. The man is hurt and they tackle him? Theyre not sure where he's hurt or bleeding from, flesh wound or a stab wound but they tackle him? Saying she had blood ALL OVER HER but The officer who was brutally handling her didn't bother to put gloves on. Once he had her in cuff I guess he already had gloves on, maybe you had black clothes on, but he complained about getting blood on him. That's his fault, He's so busy throwing her on the ground repeatedly, he wouldn't worried about transfer blood then. She had a little of his blood on her aybe some on hands which she readily admitted to whose it was... Probably why she wanted to get back in there and finish helping him. Sounds like the BF got licked out and broke the glass to open the door and cut himself up in the process. They had no proof that she did it. He could have been locked out before she got home and she came in the back door and was rendering aid. Either way you don't slow down bleeding by wrestling somebody and getting their adrenaline pumping. He may have been holding a compress on it. They weren't asking any questions to be of assistance They just came to be thugs. He treated horribly. She was at home drinking in her own house. She wasn't out driving, he threw on the ground exposed her panties, demanded that she get up, get up, get up, each time is a charge. He's manhandling her like a fool. What an idiot. My ex who was a cop used to call in welfare checks if I didn't answer his texts fast enough AFTER we'd already broken up. No, the lengths cops will go to maintain control is crazy. In fact, I was rather certain he was trying to set it up so if he murdered me the cops would write it off as a suicide. He used the whole dept to stalk me thus I can only assume he told everyone I was severely depressed. He then illegally pulled records of all my family and friends and showed up at my new bfs house even though I'd left my car and phone at home. He then proceeded to say in his best cop voice that we were dating and I was cheating on him. No, thank God my bf decided to believe me and owned his own business and wasn't the kind of guy cops liked fucking with. If not, I fear the guy would have kept harassing me forever. No, the bastard freely admit to cheating on me and being in another relationship when we broke up ten times and yet, he couldn't handle the idea of me moving on. No, I distrust cops and have spent my time learning the law for a very good reason. Police culture is terrible and far too many of them only want the job so they can violate the law.

@@johncataldo5529 Even if the police had an arrest warrant that doesn't give the police the right to enter your house unless the arrestee is seen in the house or was seen entering the house. Exigent circumstances would also allow them to enter without a warrant. An example of those would be to insure the safety of others and the police, or to prevent the destruction of evidence. Neither of those examples were present in this case. The police would have to state the fact they have a warrant and they must present it to the homeowner or arrestee. Police are trained to use certain words. In this case NEED was used which sounds like a command but it certainly is NOT a command or a lawful order. They would need a search warrant to enter the house in this case in order to enter the house. That's the way the law works but that doesn't mean the judge or jury will see it the same way. If they did, they would have done the right thing which was have at least one of the officers stay behind to make sure no further violence occurs, while they go get the search warrant. The call to 911, the blood on her hands, and the fact that she stayed isolated from the dude could give a court cause to grant a warrant to make sure no one is in danger. That would have been the correct course of action. What they did was appalling and counterproductive to public safety.
