Quick reminder that a certain celebrity politician trying to get elected to run the government, said he would void parts of the constitution to stay in power after he lost, on his failing social media platform truth social. He also said he wants to give all police federal immunity
Double feature my back pocket.
The rest of the pigs conspired against Officer Cannon because he was backing the rights of citizens. That is why he got those false charges and later those are dropped. This is what happened for good cops.
I went to the court house to file a complaint and they told me I have know the officers full name and address to do so that his last name and badge number is not enough. I need a lawyer I’m willing to hire out of pocket. Please advise me
The cop that supposedly "seen him cross the line" left the scene in my opinion the stop is over. Because the person who "witnessed" it is gone. Hes no longer detained.
Agreed 👍🏻 the stop should be over. 💯
Agreed 1000%

It's because his co-worker was arguing with him. He got upset and left. Though I wouldn't have left, I'd have told him to finish the investigation.

I'm still trying to figure out what crime he was being arrested for, if he resisted lawful arrest.
I love that uncle! Everyone should be so lucky to have an uncle like that in their corner when life goes sideways!
The uncle coming to the second stop was excelent.
He listened to the entire story of the cop, and then said "I don't believe you. I already watched the video" and calmly explained to the cop he was wrong.
He risked getting arrested and beat up himself, but he stood up for right and wrong over threats.

He took the man downtown, held him for 8 hours only to un-arrest him?
Are you serious? That cop had every right to defend himself from that man. He had a dangerous weapon in his hands. Didn't you see him about to use the flash on his phone to blind the cop? We're all lucky he reacted so quickly
I think police should automatically have to pay 100 $ out of pocket per minute for any kidnapping. i.e. Any time an arrest is made that does not result in charges filed. End qualified immunity, when the department pays for the officers wrong doing, then there is basically no direct punishment for the officer in the wrong
Its not the department paying. Its tax payers. We are on the hook.
No one would ever want to become a cop out of fear of accidentally doing something that would land them in jail for a long time.
I don't disagree with you in theory, but in practice I just don't see a way around qualified immunity. I could be wrong though.
Thats not happening in the states that have removed Qi. The officers still dont pay a dime and are still rarely held accountable for violating people's rights
@@-redacted_by_youtubewe should be on the hook. We elected these clowns ….
Even without qualified immunity, they're typically indemnified by the city etc. It's common in police union contracts. So the cops still pay nothing themselves. Also states like Colorado that eliminate QI set very low limits on direct damages. I think it's something like $25k in Colorado.

@@feloniouscraphammer according to the institute for justice, only 0.41% of cases in which qualified immunity is overcome involve the government worker contributing to the payout. Side note. A recent Georgia TV station revealed that in the past 5 years, Georgia cops/Leo's were convicted of 290 dui's. Begs to question how many police were given blue line privilege and allowed to go free.
If they were convicted, they weren't off scott free. LMFAO!

PIGS don't drink and drive. They never do that cuz its dangerous and unlawful. WAIT i stand corrected. No laws apply to PIGS. WTF was I thinking.
Seriously? WOW! I’m amazed your DAs actually did something. Here you get charged if they hit you.
Right, if 290 were too bad to sweep under the rug, how many were truly found to be driving drunk but were given special treatment?
I'm paraphrasing, but this line from the first video is the problem: "We're not here to hold court on the side of the road. We're here to back each other up."
I don't think we need to make too much of this. It seems to be in the vain of "don't discuss in front of subject/citizens" kind of thing. Basically they are there to back eachother up, but that doesn't mean they can't discuss it with eachother when they think something is wrong. It also doesn't equate to let colleagues get away with violating someones rights.
This probably is also better for the suspect/citizen, since they might also get confussed otherwise.
It is not a problem at all. It completely degrades the respect and authority police officers have when they're bickering with each other. This is true across nearly all professions. Office jobs, warehouse jobs, construction jobs, IT jobs. Literally every job where you/someone has a boss, you want the superiors to AGREE on what they're saying. It makes them look like fools otherwise. A better cop in a different situation could say this and y'all would worship him for it.
That fast-talking cop in the second clip is a true psychopath. I'm calling it.

He was Def on something
Because there are no consequences for any of their actions. He snatched the phone as he was planning to record. That's a violation is his 1st ammendment rights, then he assaulted him in violation of his 4th ammendment rights.
Imagine if he was white and victim black. The whole nation would be in uproad (at least according to longnose media) and there would be presidential calls for "justice". Now all we get is deafening silence from the system. When roles are the kind that they are here, it is very much ok for media and those who own the media. They probably get enjoyment out of it, too.
If the whole point is to be blind to the race and only judge individuals according to their ACTS, then this kind of ACTING should get the same treatment as if the actor was white. There should be uproar in BOTH cases (not only when the victim is black and perpetrator white) or NONE in either. Current situation is pure opposite of true justice.
He’s exactly the type you wanna hear about that got crept up on real quiet and left him there.
For the 2nd video. The real question should be, why is someone with a gun and potential possibility of roid ragging be showing up for a medical emergency?
*NEVER tell them what you have on camera.* Let them make their official statement, and preferably _testify_ to that behavior before you confront their perjury.
It's much better when they must fabricate a narrative from their own imagination rather than frame the lie with as much supporting evidence as they can gather.
If the cop that pulled you over, abandoned a stop, the stop is over. I don’t care what these idiots say.
Not when it comes to drunk driving. You sound like a fool. DUI is very serious and the guy admitted to having "one beer" which is what people say regardless of how many they had.
Abandons a traffic stop and gets a C-. Bruh
Yeah the grading in the first video was all bizarre. Cop who drove off should’ve got a F, the cop who didn’t violate the man’s rights should’ve got a B at least.
Eh, I mean at least all he did was drive off - He didn’t take his anger out on the citizen. Maybe it was kinda dumb but at least it wasn’t massively harmful.
I feel like there needs to be a D grade for cases like this. It’s fine for the F grade to be reserved for cops whose actions are straight up unconstitutional, excessively violent etc, there needs to be a grade between that and a C- for cops whose actions are “technically not illegal but unprofessional to the point of bringing the department into disrepute”.
Imagine your surgeon just has tantrum an leaves lmao

I think Canon deserves a better grade.
The cop who drove away made it sound like the driver had to do the breathalyzer. Officer Canon, especially after the 1st cop left, had no proof of the driver’s behavior. Officer Canon was making it very clear he was uncomfortable with what was occurring.
I agree, he didn't say that the officer's couldn't use the breathalyzer, he asked if the driver would consent to it. His analysis of Federal constitutional law may have been wrong, but he came to the correct conclusion under George law. It is also not his fault that the initiating officer had too short of a temper. I also don't see any problem in an officer questioning the judgement or orders of their fellow officers while on the scene, if they have the time (such as not being in a grave or dangerous situation), I thought that was what all the audit channels were advocating for.

Sometimes the truth is stranger than can be explained. Police don't have the time or patience to understand. Besides, It is much faster, and easier for them trip the suspect up with twisted tongue.
The supervisor should get an F
Because he should be the most knowledgeable of the 3 cops
Is the traffic stop not over when the officer that pulled him over left??????
The supervisor from the first clip was pretty solid. He asserted his authority and took Cannon aside to remind him that, right or wrong, there's a time and place to argue, and a time and a place to follow through and obey your supervisor. Cannon was VERY held up up on allowing the driver to refuse the alco-sensor, which is great, but he allowed his assertion to disrupt the purpose of the stop, continually repeating it over and over ad nauseum. After Cannon decided to hang back and allow his supervisor to actually complete the stop without interrupting and arguing with him every 2 seconds, the supervisor was able to reach a solution that required no further police interference, and would ensure the safety of the man without infringing on his rights.
Kudos to this officier for educating the uneducated public. Vote this officer into the bar. Especially in the corrupt southern states❤
Sounds like Cannon learned his lesson, but his new dept. was not ready to learn it yet.
"You got a bodycam on" is the question that changed the pace. They should all be recording each interaction with people AND other officers.
Do you mean he said that when the third cop showed up on the scene? He said, "Hey, your bodycam is upside down".
The comment on the body cam was to indicate the camera was on upside down, which the officer rotated to the proper position.
I’m with the officer that didn’t want to administer the breathalyzer. First, I didn’t witness the driving. Second, the arresting officer left the scene.
Lastly, but most importantly, why are we giving a breathalyzer if we’re not going to arrest the driver if the numbers come back above the alcohol limit?
It is the totality of these events that would make me not want to administer the breathalyzer.
The grading on this by ATA is complete garbage. Cannon deserved at least a B. The Georgia constitution backs up what he says about the breathalyzer, which was mentioned, but not taken into account in the grading.
@bchap1233 Yeah. Cannon gave the man the choice, and the man declined. ATA went through the laws as though Cannon didn't think he could even ask him to do it.
I'm not aware of any state where the roadside breathalyzer can be compelled. Implied consent laws usually don't come into play until they're back at the station after the arrest has already happened.
As soon as the initiating officer left the scene, the stop should have been over.
Hey Mavs fan. How bout them Celtics?
That was driving while black. I’m sure the officer knew that stop was racially motivated.
C+ for a cop who stands up for the rights of the public is crazy.
But he wasn’t correct
100% respect to that cop, to not wanted to violated the man right. 👍. Good cop.
I wonder if he still done that if he wasn't a brotha?
@@Trip_Ts
Definitely not. It reminds me of the movie birth of a nation.
@@Trip_Tsabsolutely. It sounds like he was super scared because of previous trouble he got in

The 5th Amendment is absolutely NOT a " Privilege " but an ABSOLUTE RIGHT. PRIVILEGE can be taken away
Breathalyzer test doesn't apply.
@@GSP-76 he's talking only about the amendment bruh
Technically rights can be taken away too, it happens all the time
That's not the definition of a right.
You also have a right to own firearms... until you're in prison. You can't own a gun in prison despite the 2nd amendment. It's not even a question.
A lot of your rights are taken away in prison.
@crazyrobots6565 Rights can't be taken without due process. In order to perform a search there can be only two reasons. One a warrant being issued to perform a search after probable cause or suspicion is established. The second would be a pat down for weapons to protect officers who are concerned about personal safety. Understand though to suspend a right constitutionally there must be due process. Only after you have been allowed to face your accusers and allowed to mount a legal defense and face the accusations that necessitates a suspension of your liberty. Don't forget that there must be a process followed and there must be a lawful and legitimate reason for the suspension. Whether it be temporary or permament.
In the second video, the cop is simply beyond evil, I have never seen such a cop before. He is pure evil and how he communicated with the detainee and refused to help him
If you haven’t seen such evil before, I suggest you dig deeper into this community. This is very tame in the grand scheme of things.
@@sousadev07 I watch a lot of these videos
@@alexursus4719there’s hundreds of recorded incidents that are magnitudes worse than this.
U never seen this? Lmao this is light compared tho the usual
@@alexursus4719no you definitely not watching a lot of these videos otherwise you wouldn't be surprised. Respectfully.
The Sgt. in the first video automatically lost a LOT of respect by having his bodycam on upside down.
When he said "call my uncle" I was bruh what is your uncle gonna do?. His uncle actually seems like the real deal
On the first one you keep coming back to "the driver's exhibited driving behavior" for how you judge the second officer. Neither that second officer nor the supervisor witnessed the driving behavior. The only officer who did see it already said he wasn't pursuing a DUI because he didn't like that they had him working nights and then left. So where would the cops that didn't witness his driving be getting the probable cause to compel a breath test?
Yeah exactly my takeaway too. The only person I'm giving a C or below to is ATA themselves. It's just lazy work to take the word of something not present in the footage. If you are gonna properly weigh on these situations then what the cops claim to be true shouldn't matter.
To say Officer Cannon was in the wrong to not escalate the situation is literally advocating for police to use excessive force as long as they get permission from a supervisor.
@@kyo1546thank you! I knew I felt funny listening to ATA’s description of the driver. It almost felt like he was profiling the guy tbh. But the only one who saw him must’ve not thought it was that bad if he just drove away.
@thesuperdingos Yeah he never questions the first officer claiming the guy was swerving even tho there is literally no evidence of this. He can't even note where the guy swerved or any specific details and there is NO dashcam footage, why?
Just the driver admitting to drinking and driving is all the probable cause they needed.
@seeya205 Nope, the video addresses this directly it's willful ignorance to claim this.
The law states there must be proof of lack of control NOT proof that they've had a drink. The guy was coherent, he was able to stand just fine, he knew where he was, where he was going, what he was doing, and why. There was no indication he was under the influence whatsoever.
It's extra jarring compared to the second clip where AtA points out how the footage is manipulated to make the officer look better due to the officer muting it as convenient for himself, and him not recording the original altercation. Somehow this isn't extended to the first case where the same conditions are present.
This isn't even about the conduct of the cops specifically at this point. If AtA wants to be a trusted source for these things the channel has to remain impartial to what the viewers can see so we are all on the same page. This first clip doesn't clear that bar at all.
I love it. Look how emotionally stunted and immature those cops are. They can't even handle a mild discussion if everyone doesn't tow the same line. They're babies!
Losing your job because you decided not to ruin someone’s life . I hate cops and this cops should sue for being wrongly fired
The cop should be facing felony charges
Man that’s the first time I’ve seen three officers argue in front of a suspected suspect. Lol😂
This is how you start a Monday morning :) Thank you for the consistent uploads!
not one of these idiots can maintain eye contact with each other. literal children with power. wild
First story is a perfect example of what they do to "Good cops" they get rid of them
Driver admitted to drinking and driving and refused an Alka sensor. Putting other drivers at risk isn't good policing.
@@faytleingod1851
1) Having a drink and then driving isn't against the law; a single drink is not enough for almost any adult male to be even close to impaired enough to where driving would be unsafe
2) You are absolutely within your rights to refuse a breathalyzer test, and that refusal to do so is NOT evidence in and of itself of incriminating behavior. "He didn't want to answer whether he robbed that bank, so he must've robbed it!" is almost exactly what you're suggesting
@@boonsaplenty3924 your right about one thing, it's not illegal to drink and drive within the legal limit. If we used your way of thinking then you could never arrest anyone for drink driving 😂 if everyone who drank and swerved all over the road refused a breathalyzer and said "welp I guess your free to go." If you refuse a breath test typically they take you in for a blood draw if they have probably cause.... Which they did. I should also point out if you refuse a breath test even if the blood test shows legal limit, you still get your license suspended in most states.
The bank robbery metaphor is a weak argument. a bank gets robbed, suspect confirms they were at the bank but didn't rob it. Witness account says that's the guy. Gun matches video surveillance.(Even though let's say it's legal to open carry) "Well guys he said he didn't do it let him go" according to you.
Your completely missing the probably cause in both instances. Without probably cause, let's say they pulled him over for a light being out and he says he had one beer. Then yes they can't bring him in for refusing to test, as there was no reason to believe he was intoxicated.
Saying the constitution doesn't protect you against doing breathlyzers and stuff is LITERALLY providing evidence against yourself for a criminal case
Because I injured him using excessive force during my unlawful arrest on false charges, I can't let him go... 🤬😡
My brain feels like this is the First time I’ve seen a cop actually defend constitutional rights of a citizen from a tyrant. Well done. Now quit your job and become mayor policing the police.
Edit: Just finished the video and saw why we should not be so quick to call a person a “good cop” Once you’re a cop, you will have an infinite amount of opportunities to be a tyrant and it only takes one moment to be a tyrant. No man is perfect, so why would you go into that job field knowing this fact and knowing that you will one day abuse your power on another human being.
because it's the only job you can f up, get away with it and keep your pension.
Great comment ! I like how you added the “Edit:” because I almost made a “good cop” comment about Cannon. Just shows how easily we can make a judgement based on our observation of one police interaction 👍🏻
@@Rambo-John-J thank you and exactly!
Cannon wasn't doing his job. The driver should have been tested. He admitted to drinking and driving. If he is under than he is free to go but a citizen called it in so his driving must have been pretty crazy.
your saying he isnt a good cop cause of the other case but you have no video to show if he was just following the other cops and having their back and learned no tto do that but to speak up so he now speaks up and is still being told he is wrong for doing it now wdf do you people want

Good cop: "I'd be violating his rights."

Good cop was wrong tho.
LMFAO! "Good cop" was wrong! He was driving all over the road, a citizen called it in and the driver admitted to drinking and driving. Asking him to take a test is not violating his rights. From the evidence, they can arrest him if he refuses the test.
@seeya205 There was no evidence, that's the problem.
@@anthonytyler8766 He is on video admitting it. That is evidence and enough evidence to ask for a test. What do you mean?
