      Hi Alberto,
      The double bill is working ok but No8 the first to go up is doing better than No9 the last to go up so did not expect that, will I do two uploads next week not sure at the moment. I thank you for watching and your very nice comments as for the Hornby couplings they are not as good as the magnetic kinds (Hunts etc) but they are a second type if I need them.
      Cheers Robert.

    Its really nice to see how you do your timberwork, and great job it is too. Love the blue, you'll be so glad you did it at the make stage. Itll tie into the conservatory decor beautifully.

    Great Demonstration Robert. You always seem find a way to get around some of these problems and the magnet fits very well. Seeing how easy the wheels break I think I might be buying some spare wheels and keeping the safety glasses close to hand! Looking forward to the next update! Happy Easter - Malcolm

      @robertstrainset6556  3 місяці тому +1

      Hi,
      Thank you for watching and your very nice comments and yes this uncoupling system you do need to plan from the beginning but in the old days before electric motors the real railway used a rodding system on the surface so could this be made to look like that just a thought. I think there are systems out there in model form that could do it.
      Cheers Robert.

      Hey Robert, now that is an interesting thought and one I will investigate. Although to be fair my layout is only 9' from end to end and in an L shape so I can pretty much reach all the points from one spot. But on my next layout........

      @@ChobertonJunction Hi Tony,
      Thanks for the reply and yes only 9ft for you Ann and 8ft for me but I like to show as much in the videos as I can and a big hand in the shot is not good and yes editing is a wonderful tool but showing the point changing or signal on camera is what I like.
      Cheers Robert.

    • @ChobertonJunction
      @ChobertonJunction 3 місяці тому +1

      Totally agree. Hand of god no fun really and yes can edit it out but a system to change the points would be good and I like the way you are doing yours. I still may try to do something at some point but will be difficult with the line down and ballasting in place etc. All part of the (re)learning curve.

    Engines don't eat Easter Eggs
    One day, Jimmy the Jinty was shunting trucks in the loft. Cookham Manor stopped to see what he was doing. It was an engine's curiosity.
    "What's in those vans?" asked the Great Western tender engine.
    "Chocolate Easter Eggs," answered Jimmy. "You're going to deliver them later to the school, for an Easter Egg Hunt. Don't get cocky, engines don't eat Easter Eggs." Cookham Manor promised she would be very careful. She went on her way with a rake of Chocolate & Cream Mk. 1 coaches.
    An hour later, Earl of St. Germans took over the passenger train. Cookham Manor carefully collected the Closed Vans full of Easter Eggs. The Shunter and Guard released the brakes, and gave the GWR steamy her signal to start. The Vans played up at first, and then settled down.
    "Can't keep the children waiting," tooted Cookham Manor firmly. "No nonsense." A disaster lay in wait. It unfolded the minute the GWR steamy chuffed near the schoolhouse. Robert accidentally jerked her to a halt. Closed Vans flew off the track in all directions, to crash land in front of Robert himself. Melted chocolate splashed all over him. The children laughed it off in good humor.
    Jimmy the Jinty got splashed himself. At least, he had been sensible enough to know that he couldn't lick himself clean. Robert tried hard not to laugh and failed.
    "No use crying over spilt chocolate," he giggled. "Happy Easter, everyone."
    "You can say that again," said a very indignant young man on one of the platforms. Sam's Trains had been splashed with chocolate himself. At least Kelly wasn't there to eat him alive. Uncanny.

      Hi again again,
      Yes engines cannot eat the chocolate eggs but they can sure melt them so a nice story well done thanks again for watching and this very nice comments.
