First and foremost...... to the ten people that gave a thumbs down 👎 what is your issue.?? To me that is the most disrespectful thing you can do .... if you think you can explain it better .... DO TELL THE CLASS!! The rest of us appreciate Mike sharing info in a way we can understand and showing us what we have all wanted to know. He already went through the growing pains and is showing us the best way he can so we don’t have to struggle like he did. Mike . Thanks for the info. Rock on 🤘 and we are just as excited for the next Class session as we are the next build video. 👍😀
Thanks Rich I really appreciate it 🙂 I can’t recall ever clicking the thumbs down 👎 button on anyone’s videos on YT, if I don’t like there content I just move on. YT seems to have a strange thing going, it appears if you block someone who’s been really rude, they can’t comment anymore on your channel, but it seems they can still stay subscribed and rate your videos, I actually have some people that will thumbs down my videos within the first 2 minutes of them being posted. Over the past 6 years on YT I have blocked about 45 people, a number of those people still are on my channel thumbs downing my videos. All that aside I really appreciate your support Rich 👍 I have some really awesome people subscribed to my channel, 99% of them are positive and supportive! You guys and gals are truly what keep me making these videos. Thanks again for the support I really do appreciate it 😊
This series is going to be epic. It's one thing to watch tutorials that are "theory" only. It's quite another to actually see the process and the why's and hows of actually creating something.
Hey man I've been anxiously waiting this... You got a style that I appreciate. Thanks for taking one for the team by doing this. The maker team that is...
Soooo looking forward to this series Mike! You've got one of the best channels on UA-cam, so I hope the algorithm finally catches on and promotes the heck of your channel!!! Awesome!!!
Mike, I took drafting and AutoCAD classes in high school, (22 years ago) and recently downloaded fusion 360 and instantly felt lost. I really appreciate what you are doing with this series of educational videos, tutorials, tips and tricks. Cant wait!
Right on! I think you will really like part 2 of this series coming out soon, we will cover drawing your first part and different tools used. I think it will definitely simplify Fusion so people won’t feel so overwhelmed. There’s a lot of things I don’t know in Fusion, but I feel I can show others what they need to work efficiently and draw up almost any part in 2D. Thanks Luke for checking out my videos and commenting 👍
First one I've watched but I like what I see. At this entry point, you clearly explain the "why" of Fusion 360 and how it applies to the end goal of a project. Thank you for your effort. Fusion 360 for the real world.
I don’t k ow why you tube will not promote educational videos when I want to learn something like learn how to make/build or replace parts on a truck or whatever it is I go to UA-cam lol your doing a great job mike I’ve already learned a whole lot from your channel not going to lie your channel is definitely one of my favourites
I will really appreciate this series. the biggest reason I haven't bought a plasma table is because I wasn't sure I could navigate the cad. As I age it gets harder to fully comprehend the new ways of doing things. Thank You Mr. Mike, count on my full attention.
Ordering myself a quad truck T shirt as my first quarter tuition! This series is a going to be so extremely helpful to me. My crossfire pro is here, this is perfect timing. Thank you for doing this!
Right on 👍 thanks for ordering a T shirt! I think this series will really be helpful for many people. I will have part two up this Friday 🙂 Ps your flatbed is looking awesome!
Thank you for making this series! I just downloaded Fusion 360 and opened it up with a high level of confidence, thinking "I'm a tech savvy guy, I got this!". I was immediately humbled! I hope by the end of this series I will be proficient at creating designs, I have big plans/goals for my race Jeep.
Mike, just a suggestion here, if you extrude, then create another sketch and you the point command, then hole command, you can easily edit all the hole sizes at the same time. Say you cut it out and you want all of them a different size, you can edit the hole command and it will change all of the holes at once rather than having to edit each circle in your sketch. It is great that you are teaching this skill! I’m a drafting and design student, we have learned fusion 360, inventor, and autocad.
Thanks Chris I really appreciate it man 😊👍 This series is just a side series to a wide range of topics and projects on my YT channel, I built a sawmill from scratch years ago and that’s what started me making videos.
I can really relate to your comments about how complicated the UA-cam videos normally are for Fusion 360. It took me a long time to get started with that software and it was only after one of the Fusion 360 experts published a 3-part series going back to the basics that I was able to get going. I followed his examples step by step. That really made a difference. I am sure that your series will do the same. Not many people ever talk about 2D modeling in Fusion 360. Cheers.
I don’t have any hope of owning or using a CNC table anytime soon, but you do a great job and I’ll still watch these too. I also appreciate you using a wireless mic. I wish more people on UA-cam would as well.
Mike, buddy, you are my hero! You don't know how long I've been looking for a video like the one's you are getting ready to do. Fusion and utub should be paying you my friend! Thank you!
From a Canadian working in China. Just listened to you on the False Neutral Podcast. I have been a subscriber to your channel for awhile and enjoy every episode. You may be the calmest and most easy to watch You Tube channel. Keep up the great work and never listen to the naysayers. Just about to watch you Fusion 360 episodes. I hope to retire soon and get back to machining, welding and building.
Oddly, most of the UA-cam videos I watch are for education (how to). I want to thank you in advance for creating this Fusion 360 tutorial. It is appreciated!
Oh my, thank you so much! This is exactly what I needed!!! I have been delaying buying a cnc plasma table because of fearing the learning curve. UA-cam needs to get behind educational series like yours; that is why we come to youtube. Very much appreciated
Hi Mike, I'm a "Hands On" learner. I'm looking forward to your Tutorial series. I like that you're so detail oriented. Thanks for the sacrifice your making on your channel to help others out. It's obvious you love what you do. You ROCK!!
Mike, this is SO overdue on UA-cam! Thank you for "taking one for the team" and making this series. I'm looking forward to every lesson you put out. Maybe you should do it on a secondary channel so it doesn't cause you to take the hit - "MikeFestiva,s Lessons"? Thanks again!
Thanks Mike , this series will help me determine if i will be purchasing a Langmuir plasma table so i definitely appreciate the time you are investing in this series.
I actually just placed my order for a Crossfire XL from Langmuir Systems, and with you doing this series I know why I used your discount code for $100 off. Thank you for the great videos!
I've been wanting to learn Fusion 360 for a while now and here you are to teach me, Thank's Mike ! ! ! I watch all of your videos no mater what you are doing because I can always learn something from you ! ! ! ! !
I watch all your videos religiously. I don't own a cnc plasma table or have any need in knowing fusion 360, but I will watch this series as well. You have a pleasant way of tutoring. Video it, and they will watch.
Educational is a great thing.....too bad UA-cam doesn't see it that way. I will be watching them all as usual, you do fantastic work!! Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
I literally just came from a Fusion360 video for 3D printing and decided to narrow my search to "Fusion360 CNC tutorial", and I was so glad to see a video from you come up! Haven't gotten into the video or series yet, but I know it'll be good, so thanks for your effort put into this Mike!
Mike... This is going to be SO useful and it's SO needed! Every single employee at AutoDesk and Langmuir should be letting these play in the background and liking them just to up the views and promote them. I think these will become some of your more watched videos over time. Make sure you put in lots of keywords (I'm not a content creator so I don't know how you do this) where ever you do that and the views will come. UA-cam is first and foremost a tutorial channel so this should work for you.
I'm stoked for this series, we just got a Langmuir CrossfirePRO table at work and I can't wait to start cutting parts! Thanks for taking the bull by the horns and making an educational series like this!
I hadn't looked much for this type of video, but I have downloaded a couple of programs to try drawing up parts. Now I can save time and watch yours. You Tube can stuff it.
I am an average Joe with some decent tools, plasma cutter, tig welder, small mill and lathe. I've been toying with the idea of purchasing a CNC mill and started playing around with Fusion just to get a feel for it. I too searched for good tutorials on beginner Fusion. I couldn't find much that I understood. I know you are only covering 2D but hopefully starting there I can move on the 3D. I appreciate your channel and how much you do. Thanks Mike!
Can't wait for the series of videos on this Langmire & Fusion 360... set up.. Getting a glimpse into the knowledge you have is going to be free schooling.
I started using fusion 360 about 6 months ago for my 3D printer. I will be watching this series for sure. I will gladly learn what ever you have to teach. Thanks for making this videos. Entertaining and Educational
Could you start another channel on UA-cam that was just educational and link it to your existing channel to avoid the issue you mentioned in your video? Keep up the great work. You’re a gifted, natural instructor.
I have been trying to learn fusion 360 for plasma. Most tutorials are done by computer geeks and I don't speak the language. Thank you for the video's.
Mike, I really appreciate the knowledge your sharing with your subscribers. I couldn't pull the trigger on a plasma table before understanding the software first.
I can tell this is going to be a great series, thank you so much for not cramming too much at us at once. Having the Crossfire Pro would save me soooooo much time on projects, and I'd never consider one without knowing how to use it first so thank you!
I'm going to make it a point to watch all of your videos on this. Its been what I have been looking for for awhile. Thank you so much for your hard work.
I am new to Fusion 360 and CNC plasma cutting. As much as I want to skip to the videos that show how to do the drawings I understand the importance of learning the basics Fusion 360. You gotta lean how to walk before you can run! Thank You for putting this beginner series together!
thanks for doing this series, I ordered the machine a while back supposedly its going to be shipping this month, and I'm freaking out! alot of money to invest in something I know 0 about. I really appreciate what you show
You will really like owning a CNC table 👍 I was in the same boat as you back when I ordered mine. It took me a few weeks to figure it out, right after that is when I started on my Articulating dump truck build. Take care
Thanks Mike. I got my Crossfire XL back in Feb. I agree the most difficult part for me was and has been understanding Fusion 360. To the point of switching to Sheet Cam. After about 3 weekends finally feel like it is coming together. Appreciate all the tips and pointers in Videos like this. Keep up the videos and dreaming up projects.
Mike, You are the best instructor and "HOW To Guy" on the Croosfire Pro and the software . If Langmuir was smart they would subsidize your channel in a big way Thank You for helping us out!
Thanks for making this series! I’ve played around with fusion for a few years. Really never got too skilled at it. Just struggling through. To get the job done!
Mike, I'm sorry you take it on the chin by doing something educational. I appreciate you taking the time. I watch all your videos and this series is definitely one I'm interested in. My whole family watches...wife & adult kids too!
IM SOOOO EXCITED!! Mike, been struggling with the decision to jump in with Fusion and a plasma table. You are a great instructor and am looking forward to this series. Please talk about type of computer and table consumables. What a great start to this series!!
Mike I just wanted to say thank you! I just got an Arcdroid cnc plasma machine. I know zero about Fusion 360. And even though this was my first video learning it, I appreciate the way you took the time to explain everything. I know it takes time for you to make these videos. And as you said it takes you away from your other channel and other things in your life. So again, thank you! I’m looking forward to watching more of your Fusion 360 videos.
Thanks for this. I would have bought one of theses tables a long time ago if i didnt think the computer aspect would be too much for me. Maybe this series can penetrate my thick skull! I appreciate the fact that your willing to try. You seem like a natural teacher to me and just the man for this daunting task.
Looking forward to this. Waiting on the table , so I've been tinkering with Fusion 360. Steep learning curve. Love the work you do, thanks for making these videos.
Hey Mike I bought the same CNC plasma cutter you have partially because of your enthusiasm, and success. Hopefully you got the credit. I have been a CNC programmer / machinist for 40 years. I'm used to writing four axis code for CNC Mills out of my head, but have no experience with CNC plasma cutters. I'd like to learn Fusion 360 so I can plasma cut more free form shapes with out having to figure out all the complex, compounds, radius , arcs, etc.. I'm looking forward to more of your teaching videos. I just received the last pallet of parts for my machine, so all I have to do now is build it. Take care Bud
This series is just what I needed. Being able to draw up my own parts will make things a lot easier for me, this way I be able to send the files straight to my local lazer cutting place instead of handing them a hand drawn sketch. I cant wait to get my own setup though so I can cut all mine own stuff in the garage, I need more space first....the perfect excuse to build a bigger garage haha
This is mint! Thought to self “don’t need to watch, can stumble trough as I have been doing”. Literally learned about the click scroll wheel to drag drawing around the first time you touched the mouse. I’ve been using fusion for a while, goes to show that you can always learn some little thing to make your life easier. Appreciate the work you put into this series!
This is exactly what UA-cam should be showing,
Yep. Plus the magnetic worms.
🧲 🪱
I agree
@@PatrickKQ4HBD too true

I watch all your videos. Period. They’re all educational and informative. Thank you for keeping it real for those of us who like real content.
Finally someone is doing something that will help me learn Fusion 360 and G code.
This series is going to be epic. It's one thing to watch tutorials that are "theory" only. It's quite another to actually see the process and the why's and hows of actually creating something.
i dont care what youtube thinks....this is EXACTLY the content i need!!! THANK YOU!
Thank you 👍

Thanks Mike, I appreciate your content. Just stumbled on your channel. Wanted to say thank you for some real world content for normal people.
Thanks Chris I really appreciate it man 😊👍
This series is just a side series to a wide range of topics and projects on my YT channel, I built a sawmill from scratch years ago and that’s what started me making videos.
Really makes me like your channel more knowing you're doing the right thing because it's right. Even when it comes at an expense to you
Fusion needs to put you on the payroll. This is AWESOME!! Thanks, Mike!
Mike, thank you for taking a hit for us! Wish YT wasn’t stoopid and showed awesome content like teaching vids over drama.
Agree completely

Mike, Thank you for taking the time to create this series of videos, it’s truly appreciated. 👍🏼

I just bought the Langmuir CNC pro, thank you for this series.
I have been trying to learn fusion 360 for plasma. Most tutorials are done by computer geeks and I don't speak the language. Thank you for the video's.
This is very timely for me. I have purchased a cross fire table and I am just getting started. Thanks so so so much for shortening my learning curve.
Loved the video, can’t wait for more on Fusion 360.
I appreciate you and these tutorials!!
Looking forward to seeing the rest of the series!
Thanks Lee
I need this. I'm getting a plasma table and a router cnc so this will be most helpful. Keep up the great content!
Mike, I really appreciate the knowledge your sharing with your subscribers. I couldn't pull the trigger on a plasma table before understanding the software first.
👌🏼 awesome. This is the series I've been wanting. I've had a look at the CNC table you use but the fusion 360 scared me....
I can tell this is going to be a great series, thank you so much for not cramming too much at us at once. Having the Crossfire Pro would save me soooooo much time on projects, and I'd never consider one without knowing how to use it first so thank you!
I hear you Mike..... while these tutorials may be above my head, I’ll watch, maybe even learn something....... thanks for taking the time
I'm going to make it a point to watch all of your videos on this. Its been what I have been looking for for awhile. Thank you so much for your hard work.
Thanks for your effort! Your very good hearted speech is a reference. All the best.
Been wanting to learn on Fusion 360 for a while now. Thanks for putting these out! You are the man!
Might not be popular for the algorithm but I'm excited about this series!
I watch every video you put out.... And tell others about your channel
Great video, I can't wait for the rest of the series.
Perfect series. Looking forward to it.
C’mon guys, let’s keep the watch count up so Mike doesn’t suffer for doing a good thing.
Thanks Mike. Great beginner stuff for Fusion users. Thanks a bunch.😃

Looking forward to this one! Thank you for sharing the knowledge!
Thanks mike for taking the time to do these educational videos. It will help a lot of ppl that are starting out. Cheers
Thanks Vincent 👍
This fills a real need. Great series. Thanks Mike!
I love your regular videos. It all seems like magic to me so this is cool to see what goes on behind the scenes.
Mike I just wanted to say thank you! I just got an Arcdroid cnc plasma machine. I know zero about Fusion 360. And even though this was my first video learning it, I appreciate the way you took the time to explain everything. I know it takes time for you to make these videos. I’ve had an Arcdroid about a year now but just started into Fusion 360. This vid was amazing to get going
Nice video, although I will most likely never use a CNC it is always nice to learn something new. Thanks and keep up the good work.
Mike, this is awesome than you for taking on this challenge to pass on valuable knowledge for the folks just getting started learning a new skill set!
Awesome video series. Still anxiously waiting tig series. Thanks
Hey Mike
I bought the same CNC plasma cutter you have partially because of your enthusiasm, and success.
This series should be really helpful. I’m looking forward to this series.
Hey thanks for the effort in clueing us in on how the technical part of this work. Greatly appreciated.
